SilentMadness

Master Of Disharmony
Okay, so while I was on the road, I got the idea of a zombie apocalypse RP. I know, right? There are so many of them. Well, what if I told you that my idea is a bit... different. It might have been done but er, well, you'll have to see for yourself, right? First things first, though, I will put down my requirements so that you know what I am looking for.

- I need a female partner. It will be an MxF plot and I'd feel much more comfortable knowing a female is playing the female role. Just a preference.

- I need detail. 3 paragraphs and up of coherent writing is what I enjoy! I will provide a writing sample in the next spoiler tag so that you will know what to expect and what I expect.

- Be creative. I give you a blank, completely blank slate for your character, so aside from her being a female, you can make her whatever you want.

- You may, at any time, leave the RP without further notice if you don't feel like it anymore and if you hate speaking out. I know how it feels. Don't worry.

- Be OOC friends with me. Please.

- I will post once a day, at least, and when I can't, I'll announce, so don't worry.

- Don't control my character. I won't control yours.

If you read this, send me a PM or comment with a writing sample. That way, I'll know that you read the rules and also, I'll know if you are or are not the RP-er I'm looking for!
And the writing sample, as promised:

"He continued walking, minding his own business. He chose to block the outer world by wearing headphones, and pulling the hood over his head, hoping that he isn't that much of a notable feature in the crowd. And it seemed to work for the most part. He didn't notice, at first, that he was being followed. With the outer sounds completely muted, it wasn't hard to understand why. Even with his extra-precautions and his habit of taking a glance back every now and then, this particular time he simply chose to keep his head down and his face concealed to the best. What if he met her? The woman from that night? The scene replayed in his mind and made him feel the same embarrassment he had felt back then.

He felt the pain in his side as he hit the cold wooden floor. That was what snapped him out of the tormented sleep full of nightmares that he's had. Clearly not the best night ever, not for him. His eyes were stinging as he opened them, nearly lulled back into the dreamworld by the sleep. However, he struggled to stay awake, for he reckoned he might have fallen out of bed. A mind clouded by sleeping pills yet told him that he was not at home. The floor at home near his bed was covered by a carpet. This... wasn't. Standing, on the verge of throwing up from the dizziness, he cast a confused glance around at the same time as he saw a small light that cast away the darkness, and heard slow steps coming from nearby.

With no time to react, however, he soon found himself standing before someone. A woman, dressed in shirt and shorts, who looked, in all truth, perhaps more surprised than he was. Her shocked face was the last thing he recalled before he finally came into his senses enough to use his ability and move himself back into his own house. Eversince, he has been wondering who she was.

He didn't notice her following him at first. It was just another person in the crowd even if his paranoia told him to keep clear and rush forward. And from there on started a strange change of the pace, in which he tried to determine whether or not that person was following him. He could sense her, a pair of eyes burning in the back of his head, causing him an unpleasant sensation. But he decided to continue down the road and not look back. Maybe that'll make them go. Whoever they were.

But it seemed to be a constant presence that trailed in his steps, every moment, closer. The pressure was making his heart race and his body become all tensed up, as if he was in the gym, picking up a hell of a weight. Enough was enough, he convinced himself, gathering all the power inside him for the moment. And so, turning on the heels of his sneakers, he faced fully with whoever followed him. "Okay, what do you..." he managed to say before his jaw remained loose, and a loud gasp escaped him. It made some people toss a glance at the scene, making it the more awkward.

He stood there, gazing down in the eyes of the woman he'd accidentally visited a few nights ago. His face now turned from pale to red and back to pale, his heart was drumming in his chest and his body was horribly weak. He found himself unable to mutter any other word, and just stood there, gazing at her. He couldn't believe it. Why, out of all the persons that he could meet, did he have to meet her? There was a slight bit of curiosity in there too, but all he could do was throw an apologetic gaze, and nearly rip the headphones out of his ears. He found himself panicking, the effect becoming worse and worse until all he could do was utter a "Forgive me." before turning around and storming off, trying to get lost in the crowd. He knew he should expect a negative reaction from her, and he didn't want to face that."
Okay! Now that we're over and done with this, let's get to the sweet part: the plot.

Note! Plot is open to modifications if you have additional ideas or want to substract something from it. Just be creative!

Year 2016. A hot summer day. Different news channels begin reporting on strange occurences of people getting sick and attacking other people. Within a week, most of the world is sinking in chaos as terror swallows rationality. Hordes of undead begin roaming the streets, hunting for flesh. People flee, cities burn. Death is the only certainty.

Character A (you) lives in a relatively peaceful suburb that has been not, yet, tainted by the undead. However, on the fourth day after the initial outbreak, a group of men show up at her doorstep, demanding that she will come with them. One of the men is Character B (me). For A, this is a more than unpleasant twist of events, but she is quickly explained to that she is, in fact, one of the few people in the world who hold the cure for this disease and that she is a key element to solving the crysis. She has been watched over for her entire life, secretly, eversince the scientists discovered the mutation in her genes.

However, the transport group she is taken in is suddenly ambushed by the undead hordes and eventually, she and character B are the only survivors left, in a world swallowed by death and destruction. What will they do?
Oh well, this is all I have! Message me with suggestions, ideas, or simply if you wish to RP this and we'll work it out! Can't wait to hear from you!

Holy shit... Yes please... I really love this idea. Just a one thing, I like gore and violence (and my characters do curse), so you'll have to tell me your limits if I meet your requirements. Hopefully...because I seriously have been wanting to zombie it up. Anywho :) Yeah. You can see your request below.

Darkness shrouded the city in a thick danger. A soft breath rushed past the buildings and cooled the warm streets. The sun was gone, and even though the sky had turned from orange, to pink, to purple, and through indigo, the heat of the day still radiated off of the sidewalks. There was a calm that spread out across the quiet of the streets, but that meant nothing. At any moment, danger could bloom from the shadows and take you in a moment. The split between life and death—that line—was very thin. One wrong step down the wrong alleyway and a human would be lost to the evils of the real world. A world that most didn’t even know existed.

Victoria was very aware. That is why she looked silently down the darkness of an alleyway in wanting. The night would be long. Normally, she was fine with her thoughts; she could worry herself with ideas and imagination. She was used to being alone. Alone was walking mindlessly around the city, trying to save the lives of people who would never know she even existed. Alone was knowing that, if those people—those humans—knew what she really was, she would be labeled an outcast and a monster. Alone was walking into a tiny apartment every day and enjoying the silence. Alone was understanding. Alone was worry-free. Alone was peaceful.

Vic’s feet steadily marched her onward. She hadn't been on patrol for long, but, usually, she didn’t stop unless she had to. Today would be a simple day—like most days. Instead of going to look for the orcs that had taken territories in the western woods on the edge of the city, she simply had to walk around the downtown area to make sure there were no night crawlers looking for an easy meal. There had been an increase in the number of human deaths and disappearances in this area—the elders thought it was a new family of vampires that had come to settle—and she was one of the many charged with stopping it. The orcs had to wait anyway. The tribe had to know that they intended on making the woods their home and they weren't simply going through before any action was taken with them. The orcs wouldn't speak to a human, and any sight of one would send them in a frenzied rage; this was a problem for those in the west, for the pathways etching through the wood were often used as jogging trails. That would cause more death than needed, but two orcs were easier to deal with than two adult orcs and a few children. They had to be careful with them, however; skin and bone was paper against an orc’s club. Those who could survive it, probably wouldn’t want to anyway.

So there she was, walking through the darkness. Her hands were shoved naturally in the pockets of dark-washed jeans and Vic jerked slightly to readjust the weight of her pack on her back. It was a very simple pack; it included things to eat and drink, as well as the necessary items to take care of unwanted threats around the city. The tribe had to be very careful about who they let into their city. This wasn’t just a place for human and were anymore. This was a place for all beings—who intended on being peaceful and only taking what they needed in the least harmful way possible—that were outcast from other homes. It was a large job for the tribe, as it seemed that there were an increasing number of creatures who yearned for freedom away from eldest ways of thinking. Still, many could lie to get in, but death would, most likely, be the only justice served to them.

Still, even as her mind wandered across the political problems of the city and the work she had to do, she walked. This would be the time spent working tonight, and tomorrow she could sleep. Wake up, eat, work, shower, sleep, and wake up again. Over and over the cycle continued. It was an endless cycle Victoria could never escape, but it was her livelihood and she had accepted it.
