Fandom Harvest Moon with Zombies IC

Ana sighed as she walked through the streets, making sure the perimeter was well fortified and that nothing needed her direct attention. Not seeing any signs of the infected or fights she allowed herself to slow down. She still had letters to other towns to write about trading and just like that she knew what to do, Ana set out to visit with the townsfolk to see that everything was going as scheduled.

The dew sparkled, reflecting the light of Miles' lantern in the early morning, as he made his way to the pier. It was only thirty feet or so from his house. In fact, his home was closer to the water than the local fisher(wo)man's, and he liked it that way.

He brought a small piece of sewing with him. He was making a sweater for his cat.
A fall sweater, to be exact.

Winter was-fast approaching, but first would come celebration, pumpkins and laughter.
And Lilac would be cute in her little pumpkin-patterned sweater.

He smiled to himself. She'd always hated everything he'd sewn and tried to put on her.
But alas.
She was a black cat and absolutely needed to be dressed for Spirit's Eve.

He caught a glance of the mayor in the mirrored water as she walked the street past him, raised his hand in a wave. "Ho, Miss Ana. Sleeping is for the dead - or so it seems."

Rachel

Rachel had been up early than normal, taking care of a young girl who had gotten sick with some kind of flu. Unfortunately that meant she had to stay for at least 24 hours in order to make sure all the medicine worked, she was tired and was glad that her time in the house was over. She smiled at the grateful mother, as she began to walk out the door and let out a sigh. She looked through her bag, making sure she had all her items for the check ups. She leaned against the door for a couple minutes, before making your way towards the main streets.

As she did, Rachel noticed the mayor and Miles quickly giving them a friendly smile and wave as she sat down on a bench. She looked up at the sky wondering how things turned out like this, when did they start having to worry about zombies, or protecting their families from any kind of monsters? This was a different world now, she sent letters out and had hoped to hear from anyone in her old town, unfortunately….. She never heard back….

“Pleasant morning, isn’t it?”

Terrance Smith
It was really early for Terrance to be up and out on his field, working his way through the early morning. He has been checking his crops that has been growing for quite a while. Terrance rested his ax over his shoulder as he held his hand gently to one his crops. It was a mildly ripe tomato, it looked healthy too. Despite the village's situation, he acted like everything was normal. Sure strange things are happening but that doesn't stop him from taking care of his family farm. The village needs the farm and his good quality farming skills. "Keep growing strong, little one." He gently said to the tomato before leaving the crop fields. The field was very large and filled with all kinds fruits, root crops, vegetables, and even wheat. Enough to feed the village, equally.

He slowly walked into a large barn just right across the fields. It can be seen in a distance due to it's large size. Terrance entered with a cow brush in hand while his ax on the other. He laid his ax by the entrance, hopefully no one will try to steal it. Terrance scrolled his eyes inside the barn. The place was filled with cows, sheep, and pigs. Each animals have their own sections inside the barn. He began to approach each animal and checked their behavior and health by far they all seem healthy. He wanted to make sure the live stock doesn't get affected by the outside world. He cleaned each animal thoroughly and gently as possible to prevent disease. After he was done cleaning them. He went to a special area of the barn. This area has only chickens. By far he doesn't worry about the chickens and chicks for they are healthy. He just fed all the animals before leaving with his ax over his shoulder.

Terrance did so much work early in the morning. If he was someone else, they would "Call it a day" but to him it's just the start. He left his farm and headed to the village with a warm smile on his face and a weapon over his shoulder. He went to the other areas to where the folks are. He wanted to make a report that the crops and livestock are running smooth and healthy. He walked and walked until he finally found the great mayor. Not only them but he also saw the local Tailor and the Nurse. Slowly making his awkward approach, he made sure he wasn't interrupting anything by saying. "Good morning everyone." He said with a soft smile on his face.
