Harry Potter: Veracity and Maelstrom

Well, it's not too cliche, it only happened in one book. Plus, it isn't terrible, we can have a perfect excuse for it; the ministry of magic wanting to check on the children to make sure they aren't smuggling muggles or something @Unbound

@Unbound Then a simpler reason, like wild dementors got on the train. It honestly doesn't matter, if you don't wanna do it that's fine, it was just a suggestion

No I wasn't trying to be mean, I just remembered that I thought the ministry wasn't able to use dementors anymore and I searched it and I was right. And I don't know if I'm gonna use dementors just yet. I'm still thinking.

Alright, so, I guess I'm just going to have to officially introduce my characters at the sorting ceremony because no one decided to interact with my characters... That and my thing never pinged me when people posted.... So I literally missed the ENTIRE train ride... -sigh- I have RPN sometimes... Oh and just an FYI, 90% of the times students don't know the house they are going to be placed in... It's not decided by your family, it's decided by your personal interests and where you'd best fit in... Harry Potter himself showed every trait Salazar Slytherin. favorited, though, the sorting hat placed him in Gryffindor because he asked not to be placed in Slytherin, thus proving he wouldn't fit in with the rest of Slytherin because his own personal interest was not there.... I just thought I'd say that openly...

You know, we don't have to have characters interact with yours for you to be able to post you know that right? Second of all, we know that they don't get their houses before the sorting hat, it's just them having something to chat about. Like some of the characters just talk about IF they get into this specific house. So I don't know why you said that.

basically there are not much first yearz though its seems as if only 4 i think or 5
 
Well, I'm not mad at the lack of interaction more than I am the fact RPN stopped giving me notifications so I was left to assume that the RP had gone quiet... Though, when I check in on it, it's gained like 5 more pages of RP I was left out of because I never got pinged by RPN's notification system... And I stated that because I kinda thought there are more first years... But, I think I'm gonna make my character a 6th year... Because, yeah...
 
I wanted to involve myself further into the RP once everyone migrated to the train... I wanted to make character development, though, as I said... I thought the RP had gone quiet.
