A more accurate perception of the possible setting of the proposed RP is that it takes place within the Rowling Magical Universe. Everything from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Pre-Marauders, Marauders Era, Golden Trio, and the Next Generation(I do not consider The Cursed Child canon.). Given even minor changes can alter the course of history it is possible for the actions of our OC's to radically change the course of events of this Magical Wizarding World. It is also best to be open to a romantic relationship possibly developing between our characters, as multiple characters can be involved.
Open Course of Events.
No set story structure set in place, with only the Era and the set characters dictating how the story develops.
Flashbacks.
Being at a point in life in which one is finally obtaining all the goals in which they have been striving for makes one sometimes look back on memories of how they got there.
In this storyline, our characters will be going about their lives as they would normally with occasional transitions to their earlier school days and other pivotal moments of how they arrived at their current position.
A Diplomatic Problem.
Within the government center of one of the countries of the Wizarding World, a foreign diplomat is being welcomed. Hoping to foster a stronger alliance, and create a cultural exchange between the two countries. However, there seems to be an assassin in the midst of the hosting nation hoping to get rid of this visiting ambassador which could be a threat with the host nation expected to return the diplomat quite alive and well.
In this RP, a specific aspect of the scenario can be explored depending on who our character are. Anyone from the Ambassador to the assassin to even a member of magical security.
Voldemort's Victory
It is an alternate universe in which The Dark Lord has gained control over the entirety of Great Britain, and now has his ambition set on the rest of the world. Yet, both those with magical blood and muggles remain in a unified group to combat a common enemy to themselves in order to remove the fascist regime and bring about a new way of living. They fight a force of Dark Wizards and Witches experimenting in the untapped field of the Dark Arts, creating new threats against an unsuspecting enemy.
The role of our characters is a potential range from the Death Eaters, Army of the Phoenix or allies from outside Britain.
The International Wizarding War
Decades after Harry Potter, and even more so after Voldeomort the Wizarding World itself has become unified and globalized. With that has come a movement for all witches and wizards to rise up in supremacy over the muggles whether pure, half or muggle born coming to a conflict against those who wish to live in harmony with muggles and even those who wish to maintain the Statue of Secrecy. Only the victors will decide the faith of the Wizarding War and their place with the muggles.
The Librarian and DADA Teacher
In the time before Voldemort sought the teaching position of Defense Against the Dark Arts there was someone who had already occupied the position for some time. With them was a librarian, and what the both of them had in common was dabbling in the mysterious and even darker aspects of magic. Something that went a little too far the year Voldemort placed his curse on the DADA position, removing both of them from their position.
In this scenario, each of us will choose whether to be the librarian or DADA teacher and can range from years before the jink was placed to even the years of what they did in the following away from their position.
