Hello, I'm new to the site and have never ran an RP here before, but if you're willing to take a chance on a n00b, I have an idea for a roleplay set in the Potter verse.
Basically, it would be about the young witches/wizards undergoing the Auror training program at the Ministry. I would be the 'GM;' playing the Senior Aurors training the recruits, creating the classes and tasks they must complete, with the occasional college co-ed type drama and Ministry ball thrown in for good measure. All the while; the facade the magical world has used to hide from muggles is crumbling, witch hunts are back on the rise, and a new dark magical order called the Arcana is gaining followers, some among the Aurors themselves. I'd like for this to be generations after the books take place, where Harry Potter is but a legend taught to school children.
I'd prefer this to be a smaller group, maybe no more than seven players. If this gains some interest, I'll create a plotting thread and character sheets before we begin. Happy RP hunting!
