Fantasy Half Human

"Why do you keep carrying me everywhere?" She looks up at Ajax and laughs.

"I feel like I should. Plus why not?" He chuckles back at her as he enters the house and kicks the door close.

 

[PandoricaBriar]

"Why do you feel like you should? I'm fully capable of walking you know." Momo laughs and rubs her eyes.

 

[kjsprk]

"I don't know, I feel like I'm taking care of you, I've never had that before." He smiled and laid her down in his bed, he took a seat on the foot of the bed.

Momo curled into a ball and yawned once more before closing her eyes. "Thank you.." she said softly.

"You're welcome." He smiled and started walking out of the room to lay on the couch.

Momo wakes up and stares out the window for a moment to watch the birds eat from the small birdhouse hanging in a tree outside the window. She stands, stretches and lets out a little mew. Momo walks out to the kitchen and pulls out a few extra pancakes from yesterday's breakfast.

Ajax, still asleep on the couch, starts dreaming about Mo and himself sitting on the dock again. He moves slightly in his sleep and rolls over.

Momo puts a pancake on Ajax's plate and sets it on the table in front of the couch. She puts one on a plate for herself and sits on the floor in between the couch and the table. Momo turns her head to see Ajax rolling around on the couch wondering what hes dreaming about.

Ajax spring awake when the plate was placed on the table. He smiled when he say Mo near him. "Hello." He said cheerfully.

"Good morning! Looks like you had some nice dreams! You were rolling around on that couch all morning." She laughs and points to the pancakes.

"Yay! Pancakes!" Ajax dug into the breakfast.

 

[PandoricaBriar]

Momo laughs. "Wanna go swimming after we eat?" She finishes her last bite of pancake and places the plate on the counter. Momo skips over to sit next to Ajax on the couch.

Ajax swallows a mouth full. "I- hmm. I'll go watch you swim!" He smiled and said.

 

[PandoricaBriar]

"Cant you at least stand in the water?" Momo playfully shoves him.

 

[kjsprk]

Ajax nods his head. "Mhmm!" He smiles big. However internally he is a nervous wreck.

 

[PandoricaBriar]

Momo takes off her shirt and shorts and throws them on the bed. She grabs Ajax's hand and runs to the edge of the water and dives in.

Ajax takes off his shirt and slowly but carefully steps into the water after her and walks until he is about waist deep.

 

[PandoricaBriar]

Momo pops up from the water and spits a stream of water at him. "Isnt so bad is it?" She laughs and swims over next to him.

Ajax chuckles slightly. "Y-yeah, it's not that bad." He has a half smile on his face, his arms are still above the water.

"Why dont you like the water..?" Momo tilts her head to the side and raises her eyebrow.

Ajax's eyes widen slightly as he tries to make up an excuse. "Uh, I just never learned..." He chuckled again.

 

[PandoricaBriar]

"Oh... Well, I taught myself!" Momo shoots him a bright smile. "Maybe someday you will learn! You never know."

 

[kjsprk]

"Heh, yeah! You...never know..." Ajax's voice trailed off into silence as his smile slowly disappeared.

 

[PandoricaBriar]

"Well, im going to go inside, its getting a little cold, I think... It... Never mind.. I dont want to think about it..." She looks at the now darkening sky. Momo grabs Ajax's hand and walks over to the house.
