Her figure is an hourglass shape, but not underweight by any means. She usually wears athleisure wear, workout pants, headbands, also college sweatshirts and hoodies. Very chill. PERSONALITY: Audrey is your classic “it” girl…with a twist. She’s actually pretty selfless and willing to do whatever it takes for her friends, if a bit shallow and vain at times, but she means well. She’s also pretty adaptable, willing to change for herself and others, even if it turns out miserably. Audrey is also a great listener, being highly empathetic. She’ll listen to your problems…even if she hates it. She’s that good of a friend; despite being massively popular (at least…back at her London prep school), so she might only really care if it’s someone she likes.

Furthermore, she’s rebellious, almost to the point of aggressive recklessness. If you threaten one of her friends, she will beat you to a pulp. I’m not kidding. She can be really aggressive if you trigger her, and will intentionally put herself in a state of danger for her own personal whims. No, she hasn’t been checked out by a psychologist yet. Despite this, because of her adaptability, she believes that she adapts too quickly, and therefore gets bored quickly. She has a decent attention span…just it’s their fault, not hers.

Coming back to the classic “IT Girl” stereotype, Audrey is a bit manipulative. While she’ll keep her friends out of it, she’s willing to lie, cheat, and blackmail anyone else for her own personal goals. She often lied to her friends about this; which got her into hot water with them. She wasn’t beneath anything, she was above everybody. She’s trying to change by moving…but it seems that might not work out here at Spence.

BACKGROUND: Audrey Nicole Maria Carson was born to Louis and Vanessa Carson, a British wealthy stock broker and his housewife respectively, in London, England. Her early childhood was luxurious as money could buy. Nannies attending to her every whim, two doting parents. However….she was only, and begged her parents to let her go to a normal school. Reluctantly, the couple let a 5-year-old Audrey attend a London prep boarding school known as Willowcastle’s. She would stay there for the rest of her London schooling before coming to New York.

Audrey always had been the popular girl, but with a catch. She was like Cady from Mean Girls after she became a Plastic. She often looked down on people, and was known for being wild and reckless. She first had morphine at 14, drinking by 16, and was overall not the best student in school. Her parents really didn’t care. They didn’t abandon her, they were just too busy. Her nannies weren’t around anymore, for semi-obvious reasons, so there was no one to keep her in line.

As a result, Audrey decided to tone it down come her freshman year of high school (here in the US). She started to get into screenwriting, got good enough grades to get on the volleyball team (and later team captain), and started to dabble in gardening. She started fostering cats and critiquing art from local galleries, getting a real job and making her own money. On the side, she secretly went behind her parents back and pitched a horror series to the BBC, which later got aired when she was 15.

Inspired, Audrey decided to write another, this time a teen drama that mirrored her own life. While she thought it would be good, Audrey decided to wait until college to try and pitch it. However…this wouldn’t go the way she’d planned. When she was 16, her best friend Mirabel found a draft of her script, and encouraged her to pitch it. She initially said no…however…

Also when she was 16, her father got arrested for tax evasion and fraud, and so Audrey and her mother moved to the US. She’s just turned 17, start of junior year. She’s arrived in New York, having been pitching her teen drama series: Time of Our Lives to streaming executives over the summer. And now it’s aired…and it’s only the hot new gossip around. Besides her of course. But how long until her perfect life comes crumbling down?

  • HISTORY.

    01.

    
    It has been said time and time again that once a cheater, always a cheater. That may not be the case for some, but it's the cold, hard truth when it comes down to Garrett Spencer. When his then-girlfriend, Helena Brady, revealed that she was pregnant with his child, the first thing that he did was jump into bed with another woman...then another...and yet another. Garrett was not thrilled about becoming a father at only seventeen. He had his whole life ahead of him, and there Helena went, getting herself knocked up as a high school junior. Nine months later, when his and Helena's child, a boy, came into the world, Garrett was nowhere to be found. He hadn't bothered showing up for his son's birth. Helena was arguably upset. Garrett had all the fun making their child, and now that the hard part was here, he wanted nothing to do with the boy.
    
    Helena decided to keep her surname for her son, christening him Cole Weston Brady. After she recuperated from the strenuous birth, she took an infant Cole and went on the search for Garrett. It didn't take her very long to find him, either - Garrett hadn't fled the country, or the state, or even the town. Helena found him at his mother's house, hiding out from the parental duties he didn't want to take on. A years-long child support battle ensued, eventually ending in Garrett claiming full responsibility for the now-five year old Cole. It was now Helena who wanted nothing to do with Garrett or Cole. As soon as Garrett was awarded full custody of Cole, Helena left, leaving a young Cole heartbroken. He had thought the world of his mother, especially at his young age. Now, he'd probably never see her again (and he was right).

    Garrett decided to move to Seattle with his young son, looking for a fresh start. Jumping to the west coast after living his entire life on the east coast wasn't something that Cole was excited about, by any means. He had to go to a new school, make new friends, and adjust to his new surroundings. It wasn't long before Garrett and Cole packed up again, this time moving to Denver, then to Kansas City, then to St. Louis. City after city, Cole started to get bummed out. Why did his father force him to move around so often? He was afraid to make friends every time he ended up in another city. Why should he hold on to the notion that he'd be there all school year long when he knew that Garrett would pull him out and ship themselves off to some other city somewhere? He started to lose his innocent view of the world, beginning to keep to himself rather than branch out and meet new people. After all, it wouldn't be long before he'd be whisked away to some other place anyway. Cole finally decided to stand up to Garrett after they moved to Boston when he was thirteen - he had had enough of this. It seemed like every time he started a new school year, he wasn't in the same town or city he was in the year before.
    
    But Garrett didn't seem to listen. After Boston, he took Cole to Buffalo, then Baltimore, then Pittsburgh. By this time, Cole was now sixteen and fed up. He turned to meaningless one night stands and weed - something to numb his inner feelings. Garrett was completely unaware of his son's increasing dependency on his vices - he was more concerned about making every new city or town work for them. Garrett and Cole were off to Charleston before finally making it to New York City just recently, as of the end of last school year.

    Cole was surprised when Garrett told him that they'd be staying in New York permanently. If he wanted to settle in New York, they could have stayed in Buffalo. But what did he know? Garrett was able to get his son into the prestigious Hailsham Academy, for some reason or the other. Unbeknownst to Cole, his father had slept with someone who could have gotten him in for free. That's the only reason why he's there rather than in some public high school somewhere.
    
    
    
    
    
  • PERSONA.

    Lack of common sense? Check. Voice of an angel? Check. Crossing boundaries accidentally? Check. Cole is what some might consider a himbo - that is, there's nothing going on inside of that big head of his. Moving around from town to town for so long meant that he never got a good education - hell, he didn't even learn to read until he was seven! It must have had some effect on him, as he still acts as if he's a middle schooler. Either way, Cole's always fun to be around, regardless of if he's well-liked or not.

    But on the inside, Cole is filled with melancholy, knowing full well that he'll be replaced again and again, just like he always has been. What you see is what you get when it comes down to it, in the end. When it really comes down to it, he's just a lonely soul trying to find his purpose in the great unknown.

    Sharon Clayton's world was falling apart around her. Her second marriage was failing, she had just lost her only child in a tragic boating accident, and she was struggling with her mental health again. Her bright idea, at least in her mind, was to deliberately get pregnant, so that her baby boy could be reincarnated into a new child. In all reality, it was the straw that broke the camel's back - her husband, Marcus, filed for divorce and moved away. Now Sharon was alone and pregnant, with the voices in her head growing louder and louder every day. This would inevitably spell disaster for her unborn child.
    
    To Sharon's utter dismay, she would give birth to an unwanted daughter rather than another son on a pleasantly warm spring evening. She even contemplated giving the poor child up for adoption, for her newborn child wasn't what she had wanted. The birth itself was dangerous and traumatic for both mother and daughter, which could have (or should have) ended both of their lives prematurely. Although the risky, complicated birth should have seen long-term health risks for either one of them, surprisingly, they both came out perfectly healthy, just like the son that Sharon had birthed two and a half years earlier. But unlike her recently deceased child, this Clayton daughter was different from the get go - but only time would tell if the same misfortune that had occurred to her late brother would befall her.
    
    Sharon christened her tiny infant Willow Alison, who was born in late March, just like her son Ross. In fact, their birthdays were so close that Willow was only missing three days to have been born on her deceased brother's birthday. It was another crushing blow to Sharon. She had hoped for Willow's birth to coincide with that of Ross's. It would be the first bitter disappointment that Willow would cause her mother. It would be the first time Willow wouldn't live up to her mother's unrealistic expectations. It certainly wouldn't be her last, that was for sure. Meanwhile, Sharon was determined to ensure that Willow wouldn't end up six feet under like her darling Ross. From the moment she shut the door to her single-wide trailer behind her with a three-day-old Willow in her carrier, Sharon was already taking measures to make sure that Willow never left her sight. And for the next fifteen and a half years, Sharon accomplished that goal.

    Willow slept in the same bed as Sharon, wasn't allowed outside without her supervision, and as soon as she was school-aged, Sharon decided to homeschool her rather than letting Willow attend public school like a regular child would. Sharon also restricted Willow's calories from a very early age - she didn't want her to become a "ugly fattie", in her own words. As a result, Willow was struggling with an eating disorder from as far back as she could remember. Sharon was smothering her, but of course, Willow was brought up to believe it was totally normal. It wasn't until Willow started to put the pieces together as a teenager that she realized that her situation wasn't right. She had to get out of this trap - but how? An idea soon popped into Willow's head, but it was risky. It would take a lot of careful maneuvering and planning, but the payoff would be worth it. Days of cautious questioning would get the results Willow was hoping for - a way out from underneath her mother's brutal, unrelenting control.
    
    Willow had gotten all the information she could get out of Sharon on her father, who had no idea that he was even a father to a daughter. Marcus Clayton was living in California with his second wife and their two children. She was able to track him down, messaging him on social media and briefing him on what was going on. To Willow's surprise, Marcus sided with her. But it wasn't long before Sharon would find out about her daughter's secret. She was furious with Willow for even thinking about contacting her father. Sharon forbade her from keeping in touch with Marcus, and that was the end of that...or so they thought. In all reality, Marcus was on his way across the country to pick up his daughter and bring her home with him. He agreed with Willow that Sharon was way out of line, and with his help, he could get her emancipated so that Sharon didn't have any control over her anymore. And sure enough, Marcus came for Willow, although it did take three months for him to do so - he couldn't just take off of work and leave his wife and children out of the blue, so it had to be a planned visit on his side of things. Willow had just turned sixteen when Marcus showed up on her doorstep, as if he were a miracle sent down from heaven. A lengthy court battle ensued, with the court ruling that Willow was old enough to make decisions for herself. Willow swiftly emancipated herself and moved with her father to New York, where she remains to this day.

    The last time that Willow had heard from or seen her mother, her mental health was failing. She would write to her daughter, begging her to come back to Nebraska to be with her poor mother. But Willow wasn't stupid - she knew that it was nothing but a trap. As much as Sharon wanted her daughter back, Willow was willfully stubborn on the issue. She wasn't coming back, ever. And once Sharon got that notion, her mental health went even more downhill. She was admitted to the behavioral health unit not long after, seeing visions of her deceased son everywhere she looked. Willow still hasn't visited her mother, even after finding this piece of information out. Why should she? It was probably all just an act, anyway.
    
    
    
    
    
  • PERSONA.

    What was once a sheltered, innocent good girl has now been buried deep within when it comes to Willow Clayton. She traded her naivety and virtue for alcohol and one night stands as soon as she got the chance to break free from her mother's tight grip. Once quiet and reserved, Willow now speaks her mind freely without fearing for any consequences she might face. She can be what most would considered a "bitch," but she takes that in stride. She's a party girl through and through, at least, on the outside, that is. On the inside, however, that's not exactly the case.

    Some traces of Willow's past remain imbedded into her psyche, coming out especially when she's alone with her thoughts. She prefers not to be alone if she can help it, often relying on the kindness of strangers to get her by. Her good looks, charm, and newfound wealth also help out a lot. Through therapy, Willow's found it becoming easier to confront her past, though she doesn't always attend her bi-weekly sessions like she's supposed to. All in all, Willow is a deeply flawed, broken individual who's struggling to come to terms with existing in a world that isn't so kind to her.

    Jerome Hanson didn't want to be a father, plain and simple. So when his then-girlfriend, Angelina Yorke, came to him in hysterics with a positive pregnancy teste, the answer was clear: leave. And, since Angelina had been brought up to be firmly against terminating the pregnancy, she decided to have the unwanted child anyway. That baby turned out to be a girl, named Aspen Denise Yorke. She was born six weeks prematurely, coming in at only three pounds, eight ounces. After a month in the NICU, Angelina and Aspen finally made their way home. But Angelina wasn't satisfied with being a single mother. No, she was going to get to Jerome, no matter how long it took. When she finally tracked him down in Colorado a year later, she found out that he still wanted nothing to do with her or their daughter. This frustrated Angelina to no extent, but what else could she do? She decided that she alone would have to raise the fragile one-year-old herself, no matter what it took.
    
    Angelina decided to go back to school, getting her degree in nursing while Aspen was put into daycare after daycare, followed by preschool and elementary school when she was old enough to go. As Aspen got older, she wanted to bond with her busy mother, who constantly turned her down time after time. By this time, Angelina was now working at the local hospital, working long shifts day in and day out. By the time she got home late at night, Aspen was already in bed, with her babysitter watching television in the living room. Now, Angelina really didn't see anything wrong with this, but oh, Aspen did - and she didn't like it one bit.

    This resentment that Aspen had boiling deep within her finally exploded one August evening when she was twelve. She had strived to be just like her mother in every single way, even joining her middle school's cheer squad because Angelina herself had been a cheerleader in her formative years. That night, as soon as Angeline strolled in through the front door, Aspen was waiting for her, and she wasn't exactly happy. Aspen just let everything out, verbally berating her mother. She no longer wished to be babysat as if she were a mere child. She wanted Angelina to be the mother that she had always wanted her to be to her. Angelina just stood there, listening to what her daughter had to say. She was quiet for a while after Aspen had said all that she needed to say.
    
    Then, Angelina finally decided to speak up. To Aspen's surprise, Angelina was compliant...partially, that was. She agreed that Aspen was old enough to stay at home by herself now. She was nearly a teenager, anyway. But as for her request to have any parental influence in her life? Angelina flat out refused. She wasn't going to be there for her when she needed it. This hurt Aspen deeply. She already had no father to begin with, and now, she practically had no mother at this point either. Was she just unworthy of being loved? Was she incapable of loving anyone? What was she doing wrong? Was it her fault this was happening to her?

    So, what did Aspen do next? Act out, of course. She hoped that Angelina would notice her regardless of what she did. Aspen decided to dye her natural brunette hair black. She decided to get her belly button pierced. She decided to loudly exclaim that she was going to have sex with some guy from school. Nothing seemed to work. Angelina still chose to work nonstop, barely stopping in to check on her reckless daughter. Even when she got to high school and tried to fit into the popular cheerleader stereotype that Angelina had fit in so well in as a teenager, she still didn't care about Aspen, not one bit.
    
    That brings us to today. Aspen is now a junior at Hailsham Academy, reluctantly cheering for the Eagles even though she really doesn't care about it. She hopes that one day, Angelina will come around and care for her, but until then, she's just stuck in a loop of doing things she doesn't like to do.

    Aspen Yorke is many things, but peppy she is not. If anything, she attempts to be the exact opposite, despite being on the cheer squad. Music and art are her escape from the world, as she is trapped in a lovelss relationship, running back to her boyfriend every time because she's afraid to be on her own. Aspen doesn't want to be popular, but cheerleading and her jock boyfriend continually force her into the spotlight time after time. That doesn't mean she's weak, or anything like that. In fact, she's extremely strong-willed, though it hides neatly behind her whole 'nobody understands me' front. If she could get out of here, she would in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, there's not much she can do, because until graduation, she's stuck at some dingy school with dingy people.

  when your whole life is essentially a secret, you become a bit of a prick. such is the case with ines estete, known by the masses as gabriel estete. a stick-in-the-mud business type whose life revolves almost exclusively around looking towards the future, ines is the sort who seems like she's never had a good time. and why would she? good times are for people who don't have futures, who don't want to get jobs, who peak in high school. if staying closeted and miserable will give her better chances at getting employed, then so be it.

  The patriarch of the Estete family was a traditionalist sort. His wife had two daughters, and no woman would be taking over his company. It wasn't until their third child, Gabriel, that he finally had an heir. A boy who could take over the family name and make his parents proud.
  
  To some extent, the Estetes lived for self-image. So when Gabriel was acting strange, his father was not afraid to throw him over his knee. He kept his kids in a tight grip, under draconian law. The worst part was that his "company" was some dinky little tech start-up that had only just begun getting off the ground. Sure, it was making surprising strides, and they were in extremely good money at the moment, but it was hardly worth beating your kids over. Nonetheless, Mr. Estete wanted his kids to look good in case any men of high status popped in for a visit.
  
  With daddy always working, mommy was at home hitting the bottle. Gabriel was in the hands of numerous nannies, homeschooled through elementary where a number of in-home teachers taught him math. A "special" therapist was hired to teach Gabriel "quiet hands". All so that in public, little Gabe was the picture of intelligence.
  
  He finally attended school publicly in the sixth grade, but didn't know anybody. Mr. Estete told little Gabriel he was better than those normal people -- they weren't going where he was going. But he met a kind teacher who he grew attached to. A certain Missus Lewis, who was young and pretty and didn't take shit from anybody. Missus Lewis said she was trans-gender, and Gabe had no idea what that meant.
  
  "It's like, when you're not the gender you were born as."
  
  Missus Lewis was fired a year later for being too open about her status, but that stayed with him. He did his reading in private, and thought back really hard on his youth. It wasn't like those books -- "I always loved girls things", no, it's not really like that. It went from a curiosity to oh God you can never tell your parents.
  
  Because well, he, nay, she, she would never be able to take over the company if she told her parents. Or anyone. Nobody could know.
  
  The next few years of her life were contained, silent panic, as she continued playing Gabriel in real life, while being this girl, Ines Estete, in her private life.   Perhaps to "make up" for his upbringing, Biff has embraced macho manly man behavior in just about every way. He likes motorcycles, snakes and hard rock, and he's also a pretty generally unpleasant person. Dumber than a box of rocks and twice as painful to have thrown at you, Biff asserts his dominance in just about every situation he enters. He needs YOU to know that HE'S in charge, no matter who's "really" in charge. Niceties confuse him and he doesn't fuck with small talk.

  Born with a name Biff dares not utter to this day, he was the middle "daughter" of a small suburban family. His daddy was an English teacher and his mommy was a homemaker. They were kind of broke, but ultimately doing okay. At least, that's what you'd figure from a distance. The truth is, Mr. Laurence was a pill and a half. He'd hit his wife, he'd hit his kids. What else is new? What else causes a normal child to turn into an alpha male monster like Biff?
  
  He was a pretty average kid, other than the bruises. Did average little girl things back when he was a little girl. But then he stopped doing those things, he got tired of them. All at once. Suddenly. He decided he was more of a "sports, cars and bugs" kid. Flushed his only Barbie down the toilet. (And then cried about it, because fuck, that was his only one.)
  
  Life continued, in that cyclical way that it does. Every day the same dream. Blood on the carpet. Hands in his hair. Up until middle school, at least. That was where he got his first girlfriend. Ooh, spicy. And maybe they did a little bit of kissing. Nothing more, obviously, kissing was more than enough. They kept doing it. Over and over until finally they got caught. His girlfriend shoved him away and he landed on his ass like an overturned roach. He was in huge trouble.
  
  The school called his parents, and told them what happened. Their little boy (little "girl) had been involved in some activities of a homosexual nature. That little girlfriend of his denied that they agreed to do it together, meaning Biff was up shit creek without a paddle AND without a girlfriend. He was thrown out on his ass despite only being 13.
  
  So, he wandered, and he wandered some more. He wandered to a phone booth and called his uncle, who lived in a trailer.
  
  Uncle Perry was an interesting guy. An alcoholic and an avid taxidermist. He allowed Biff to move in as long as he promised to get a job. Not many options for a kid that young, but hey, he got a paper route. He became interested in transitioning the next year, and Uncle Perry let him. Uncle Perry didn't give a fuck. Uncle Perry didn't even give a fuck when Biff punched out his classmate.
  
  So why not keep doing it? People wouldn't see him as a man if they didn't fear him, after all. So maybe he became kind of a bully. The type of guy you don't want to see coming towards you.

    Caspian Mattea Kane was born thirteen minutes after his older sister, Cassandra. The two cute kiddos were born to a hardworking dad and a woman they would never remember.   If you ask about Leon around the block, those are probably some of the terms used to describe him. People's perception of him has never bothered him; nothing really ever has. He doesn't see the need in getting worked up over shit that's out of his control anyways. He was pretty young when he came to the realization that damn near everything is out of his control, so he doesn't concern himself too much with anything.
  
  Despite the general perception of him, he's an incredibly intelligent dude. People that knew him when he was younger love to come up with excuses for why he ended up the way he did: he fell in with the wrong crowd; if only his dad had been around; maybe if his mom had just been more strict. The truth of the matter is that some people are just content with mediocrity. Leon's interest in winning the rat race is close to zero. In all honesty, the very idea of holding down office jobs and working his way up the corporate ladder or whatever sends shivers down his spine.
  
  He's always chalked that up to the thought of sitting still for an eight hour work shift. Sitting still has never been his thing. He paces when he's on the phone, bounces his leg when he's in a chair, talks with his hands. He's also never been one for quiet and there's almost always music playing in his apartment regardless of what he's doing.
  
  Leon spends most of his time trying to drown out his own thoughts while simultaneously trying to escape the world. This has resulted in a fondness for drugs of almost all types, predominantly pills and bud. He also indulges himself in physical pleasures, though has always kept his lovers at arms length.
  
  There aren't many people he's genuinely close to in his life and he's doing a pretty good job of convincing himself that he prefers it that way. Sure, people know who he is for the most part - his affinity for attention requires that much - but there's no one blowing up his phone to kick it. Unless, of course, they're trying to get a fix or an in to a party or just want a good time with no strings attached. Despite his love for attention, he doesn't truly care too much what people think about him, doesn't try too hard to impress them.
  
  He's an expert at being comfortable in all scenarios and adapts to his environment with remarkable ease. Regardless of this, his loudness and carefree attitude always remain.   Maybe Leon's childhood would've been less lonely if it had really just been him and his mom. Instead it had been him, his mom, and heroin. There wasn't really enough room in his mom to care for both, so he grew accustomed to being put on the back burner.
  
  He never cared enough to ask about his father, was never really curious about him to begin with. Why bother wasting that much energy on someone that didn't wanna be around? As far as Leon was concerned, the fucker should stay gone.
  
  Enough about him. Leon and his mother, Liz, lived in a studio apartment in Brooklyn, New York. It would've been a little cramped if Liz was ever home for more than a few hours at a time. The freedom suited young Leon just fine, and he always managed to find ways to entertain himself: setting up playdates for himself, walking around the block, listening to music for hours. Making friends came easily to him probably due to his willingness to make a clown of himself for others' amusement.
  
  Despite the lack of structure and stability in his home life, Leon thrived in school. Kind of. Academically, he was gifted beyond his years, but his behavior was apparently "inappropriate". His mom never gave him a hard time for it, though, and he always assumed she blamed herself for his acting out. Most people probably think that's fair of her, but Leon's convinced he would've ended up exactly the same way no matter what his family looked like.
  
  Anyways, whenever his mom felt really guilty, she'd buy him something. Never anything grand, seeing as nearly all their money went to drugs and rent, but she's responsible for his love of comics, music and making art.
  
  The most expensive gift she ever got him was an acoustic guitar, and it's still Leon's most prized possession.
  
  If you ask Leon, he wouldn't say he "fell in" with the wrong crowd - he'd tell you that he sought them out. Early on, he realized that most people became easily uncomfortable whenever he spoke about his life at home; even just referring to his mother by her first name seemed to throw people off. So, he gravitated towards people that wouldn't pity or belittle him.
  
  The fact that they also had access to contraband - equal parts buying and selling - was just a bonus. He was a favorite among fellow street rats, and his name grew somewhat infamous in some parts of Brooklyn.
  
  So, when he was notified that he'd received a scholarship to Hailsham, he was floored. Honestly, he'd only applied because a supplier of his told him he should and his friends found it funny.

      To put it simply, Archie is Hailsham Academy's resident "golden boy."       past?

      Archer Anderson was born on February 26, 2005. He lived with his mother, his father, and eventually his younger sister. He lived the first five years of his life like any normal child should, all he really cared about during that time was playing catch and watching the football players on TV run across the screen. Around the time he turned six, however, his mother was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. She fought hard, but ended up passing away the next year. Archie was only seven years old at the time. Instead of stepping up and taking care of himself and his children, Archie's father turned to alcohol. Things in the Anderson household were less than ideal, but it was manageable up until the time Archie turned fifteen. By this time, he had been playing football for ten years and he had built up some muscle, but his sister remained defenseless. His father started to take out all of his bottled up anger on her, and once Archie found out about this, he called the police. But it was too late; Archie's father had left in a drunken rage and got into a car accident. He was pronounced dead a few hours later, and the two siblings were sent to live with their less fortunate aunt. It was still not ideal, but there was no alcohol involved. To this day, Archie still has not had time to sit down and reflect on everything that happened prior to attending Hailsham.

      Despite everything that happened, Archie has always been a football star on every team he's ever played on. Since his sophomore year, colleges have kept an eye on him and many of them want him on their teams. At the end of his junior year, he received an email asking if he wanted to attend Hailsham Academy on a full scholarship for his senior year. He had heard of Hailsham before and knew that a lot of rich people went there. He also knew that a lot of these rich people ended up going to nice universities, and he knew that if he spent the year at Hailsham, he had a higher chance of getting accepted into his dream school. Not surprisingly, his aunt was completely okay with it, and now he's spending his senior year at Hailsham with high hopes for the future.

• Born and raised in Southern California by his loving parents.
• Was in a fatal car accident where his mom passed away and Lauren was the only survivor -- age 2.

• Most fond memories with their dad comes from weird eccentric hobbies his dad wanted to take classes with. That's how Lauren knows how to: ice skate, speak in ASL, almost earn eagle scout, crochet/knit, sew, and ballroom dance.
• Elementary, Middle, and High School was in public school. All pretty well off areas in SoCal.

    As a high schooler with a priveleged upbringing, Rafi doesn't really have a big, traumatic backstory to add here. He had an idyllic, suburban childhood in the affluent town of Scarsdale, New York, playing soccer and tee-ball and learning how to fix cars from his father, a lifelong gearhead who collects classic cars.
    
    As a friendly, athletic child, he grew up surrounded by lots of friends and developed into a handsome jock as a young teen.     Nico is the single most chill guy you will ever meet. He gives off the distinctly bohemian, relaxed air of a modern-day hippie type, clearly wanting nothing more than to spread peace and good vibes wherever he goes. Spontaneous by nature, he is always willing to run off on an adventure at the drop of a hat, but just as comfy hanging around vibing. While sweet, loyal and flirtatious, Nico's not the sharpest tool in the shed. Known to be a bit dense, subtlety is usually lost on him. He's just not all that perceptive, and can be inadvertently callous or insensitive as a result. He's also quite lazy and spends way too much time laying around getting stoned, painting, or writing weird poetry and rap lyrics. This of course extends to his performance at school as well; he usually can't be assed to do the assignments and is often a disruptive pain in the ass when he actually makes it to class.     Nico was born to Divya Tiwari, a young girl who had just graduated from an all-girl prep school, and found herself pregnant after a one night stand at a party with a cool, older artist. The painter skipped town as soon as he heard the news of his fatherhood. And of course Divya's rich, well-to-do parents weren't happy to hear about of their unwed daughter's pregnancy, and how this would reflect on them. But they loved their only daughter dearly, and couldn't bear to throw her out. So they allowed Divya to continuing living with them, and stay long after the baby was born.
    
    Divya was a bohemian type though, a free spirit. She couldn't be tied down to staying home and caring for a kid, so she often left her son in the care of her parents for days or weeks at a time.     Divya traveled around for years like this until she eventually found herself strung out and pregnant again. Divya returned to the states and got clean, but by that time, it was just easier to chalk Nico up as another unfortunate mistake from her youth and strived to be a better mother to her new child. She ended up settling in Seattle, getting married, and having a couple more kids, and Nico stayed with his grandparents, never to see or really hear much from her again.
    
    After his grandfather died, his grandmother did what she could to discipline Nico as his sole guardian. But she was in her twilight years by the time Nico reached middle school, and fell in with a rebellious crowd of hoodlums at school, experimenting with drugs and staying out at all hours.     To save her sanity, Nico was sent off to boarding school at the start of ninth grade, where he remains to this day as a junior.
