The news should've made her relieved that her potential rival was now much more easier to deal with,giving that Jing can no longer predict any incoming attacks more easily. However,it didn't sound like good news to her,quite the contrary in fact.

But......how did he even come to lose his ability to utilise his Quantum Brainwaves.....?

Shindou looked at Reina, knowing what she was wondering. He however had no clue, and decided to just tell her her next assignment. "I'll need you to go fight Illyasviel again."

“It might've been her attack at Destiny's head when we first fought that caused it.” Jing theorised “The brain damaged due to her also being able to inflict damage on me through my Gundam must've permanently neutralised my quantum brainwaves utilisation.”

“Out of retaliation I presume. I recall that the way Inverse Caelum hit Destiny's head seemed to be because I was starting to become a little more ruthless.”

“So,what do you think your next move would be now that you're a normal human?”

Momentarily silent from Kotori's question,Jing sighed before he answered.

“...I'm not bowing out just because of being depowered. I've fought without being a fully developed Innovator before,so I'll do it again. Plus....Hina's challenge has yet to be concluded.”

"It's just a thought..... But couldn't you use the EXAM system?" Sei asked.

“I've used it once....it didn't go too well as I had hoped. Though I suppose I could try giving it a shot just to make sure.”

Jing had the Blue Destiny Unit03 on his hand as he placed it on the launch pad in front of him.

“Now then....let's see how this goes.”

Illya placed her Quantum Raiser, wanting to hold off using Gil-Chan, mainly due to the fight earlier. The field became a space colony, specifically, the one featured in Narrative when the Sinanju fought the titular Mecha for the first time.
"Illyasviel, Quantum Raiser, here I go!"

“Yao Jing Lin,Blue Destiny,Launch!”

Both Gundams were sent into the battlefield. At Illya's terminal,a window popped up with a "Voice Only" from Jing.

“Do I activate the EXAM System now?”

"Go ahead if you need. I can wait."

“Understood.”

The EXAM System......it was created by a xenophobic scientist fearing the increasing numbers of Newtypes by locking the soul of a Newtype for other pilots to have a sense of enhanced reflexes. Funny how I based Libra System of this,except tamer since EXAM made me ruthlessly destroy a sparring bot.

"EXAM System. Start."

The Blue Destiny Unit03's eyes turned red while in Jing's side,he felt as if he's been given back his enhanced senses bit by bit.

Illya smiled, before starting the engagement. The Quantum Raiser flew forward, activating the GN sword III in blade form, and swinging.

BD-Unit03 slid under the blade and also Quantum Raiser,taking aim with its dual-barrel beam rifle as it attempted to fire at its opponent from below.

However, it would Quantize, then appear next to the Destiny as it held the short Sword up at it's neck.

In response,Blue Destiny knocked the blade away and swiftly disarmed the Quantum Raiser.

The Quantum Raiser let go of the blade, before Char Kicking the Blue Destiny away. "Trans Am!"

Her Gundam took on a red tint, as it ejected the weapons on the GN Drives, as well as taking the GN shield and Buster Sword IV off their holders as it now fought with the sword as it's offense, and the shield for defending against any counter attacks.

Due to the Blue Destiny's more basic functionality compared to the ace custom Quantum Raiser,Jing was finding it hard to properly land a counterattack. Although the EXAM System was clearly stopping him from getting taken down really easily in the first place.

However, the EXAM did not account for the Quantization, as the Raiser Teleported behind the Destiny, before slicing it in half, ending the fight.

“And that concludes it.”

Jing spoke,picking Blue Destiny up from the table.

"I-I'm so sorry! I thought you could have dodged that!" Illya said, panicking. "Maybe if he was a newtype."

"What will this mean for the Mirror match though?" Jūdan asked. Elizabeth looked down for a moment, before giving Jing a look of determination. "Jing, I may not know much on 00 Gunpla, but if it needs to be done, let me take over for you! I think I can defeat other Setsuna with the Quan[T] or Crossbone Exia!"

“You sure you can handle them? My Gundams aren't exactly optimised for any new users to be able to master them within a day.”

"I never said I needed the Quan[T] you use." She looked at Iris. "Iris, if you want, may I borrow the Caelum Quanta for the mirror match?" Iris looked at Elizabeth, before taking the Caelum out of it's holder. "If you believe you can use it, go for it." She then handed the Gunpla to Elizabeth, but before she could thank Iris, Annabeth and Reina had broke through the entrance, Barthes was following behind.

Annabeth was the first to say something. "Huh, so not only did the escapee show up here, but my sister and our Target did too."

Glancing at Hibiki before turning to look at Illya,Reina took out her Gunpla.

“I've come to challenge you once again. It won't be the same as last time.”
