-Two Hours Later-

Jūdan had sent the fingerprints they found on the weapon to the nearest police station to try and find a match, however, Jūdan specifically told the person handling the search to return the result in secret. After a long three minutes, Jūdan got the result, and had called a meeting up with the other members of Celestial Being, New Tekkedan, and Elizabeth along with Inazuma and Hibiki.

Jūdan took a minute to gather her thoughts, before placing the file on the table between the group.

"I don't know why this happened... But Mikoto was a traitor."
Her news was shocking to New Tekkedan, as well as Elizabeth.

"Hold up, you mean Iori's sister killed-"
"What do you mean my sister-?"

Everyone would turn to the entrance to see Iori, who was surprised at the news.
"Sei, I don't want to tell you, but your sister is the enemy-"
"No! It can't be true! She must've been forced to! She wouldn't do something this horrible!"

"But the fact remains is that she has blood on her hands-"
"Shut up! You don't know my sister! She wouldn't hurt anyone unless they were hurting her! She isn't a villain!"
Sei would then run off.

“How is her now?”

“Wandering around like some shambling zombie,now he's just walking towards Aokigahara.”

Gregory explained,prompting Nov to look away.

“Clairvoryance ended up not coming true halfway.....but it still lead to two deaths.”

“You know....the way this is going....even I'm not too sure if he'll have any hope as long as he breaths now.”

Gregory spoke,looking at the other otherworldly person sadly. It did not went unnoticed.

“.... You look upset.”

“It's just your imagination.”

“I've noticed that you're starting to sound even more sympathetic the more you talk about Jing.”

“It is just mere sympathy for his losses. Nothing more.”

“I doubt it. Either way....I best get going before something worse happens. See you soon.”

Staring into the sea of trees,Jing remained silent as he listened to the leaves rustling by the wind ahead of him.

“You aren't actually contemplating on commuting suicide,are you?”

Footsteps sooner joined in with he rustling. Looking behind him,he saw the woman he had been harbouring jealousy for destroying what little chances he had to be with Sarah at long last.

“.....It's you....”

-Reality Plane-

Lucifer would appear soon, A fiery void of perdition emminating from his enterance.
"Oh come on, I was working on that enterance for...."
He counted his fingers to keep track of the time.
"20 minutes now!"
Silence.
"Oh right, too serious right now. Well I got some bad news as well, Illya has gone..... How should I say this, dead. Not like she had died, but just.... Stopped living entirely. It's like, she gave up. Anyways, I'll try to see if I can't snap her out of it. If not, I can always possess her until then."

-Einzbern Residence-
Illya was in her bed, eyes wide, yet she wasn't moving, or breathing.
"Illya? You can't be dead, can you? I can hear your heart beating, but it's like you don't have the will to move. Why?"
Iris would walk in, before looking at Hina.
"Illya..... She's still alive isn't she?" Her older sister asked in concern.
"Yes, but she's lost it...."

-Illya's Void of Misery-
Illya was in darkness, sitting with her legs up close to her chest, as she hugged herself.

I'm useless.... I couldn't get there in time..... I was warned about this..... And I failed......

Illya would close her eyes and cover her ears as shades resembling Akatsuki and Ikazuchi appeared, tormenting her.
"Stop! Just stop! I know I failed, I know I couldn't save you two! I wish I could have gotten there sooner!"

“I see......so you wanted to talk to me just for that.”

“Yes. I am sorry it has come to this. I'd never have expected a friend of yours to be tasked to murder your adoptive sisters.”

“.....take me to your boss.”

“Come again?”

“I said. Take me. To Shindou!” Jing yelled, “I just need to give myself in and everyone else,especially Inazuma and Hibiki,will be spared,right? This will be all over,and there's nothing else they need to do since their main so-called "biggest obstacle" is now held captive or killed by them.”

Ciel momentarily looked at Jing,completely floored by his rather quick decision to surrender before looking away.

“I refuse.”

“What.....? I'm just standing right here,waiting for you to capture me. Or are you simply refusing so that the same fate could one day befall in Inazuma and Hibiki-”

“It is nothing of the sort!” Ciel yelled back, “All I'm seeing right now in front of me is a sad,empty shell of a former great battler known as Setsuna F Seiei,desperate to sell himself out to end the conflict and protect his loved ones,not bothering to think about whether or not this will truly save everyone. I only have one advice for you,so listen carefully:It is okay to be selfish as long as it is for good reasons.”

“....”

“I must go now. What actions you choose is up to you,although I hope it is one that will benefit you and your friends greatly.”

Soon,Ciel had left,leaving Jing alone with the rustling leaves.

Jing could hear Illya screaming in his head, but it wasn't directed towards him.

I'll get you two's conciousness connected. Just hurry and get a move on.

Not bothering to ask Gremory what suddenly had her offering a hand so readily,Jing closed his eyes and felt his consciousness drift towards where Illya is.

-Void of Misery-

Jing would soon find himself in an empty space, an eternal darkness with Illya crouched in the center, eyes closed as she had her hands over her ears. Dark colored bolts of lightning flew around her, one colored red, and one colored violet respectively.

"Just go away.... I can't handle facing my own failure...."
Tears ran down Illya's face.

“You two stay several meters away from her now.”

Jing spoke,walking towards the three of them as both "Ikazuchi" and "Akatsuki" turned to look at him.

“Don't you dare impersonate Akatsuki and Ikazuchi just to torment my sister (Illya)....”

"J-Jing....?"
Impersonate? We're the real deal.
We want revenge for her failure.
"Please, you two are just incarnations of her Fear and Delusions."
Lucifer would say, appearing next to Jing.
"Sorry you were dragged in here, but I needed someone to talk her out of the the void she put herself in after my two minions had found a chance to get to me."
He laughed.
"But you two, Phobios and Demios, you forgot something important, I am the guardian over this girl, and I control the dark itself!"
Two tornadoes of pitch darkness surrounded the fake Akatsuki and Ikazuchi, before they would be banished through a six star pentagram.

Lucifer then turned around, before looking at Jing.
"If I'm not mistaken, they chose those forms because it was easier to get to Illya that way. I'm afraid of what could happen if those two were in cahoots with Azathoth. Anyways, I'll be out for a while, just make sure Illya knows she isn't what they make her believe."

“Sorry Lucifer.” Jing said before the demon inside Illya left. He eventually went and sit in front of Illya,looking at her eye to eye.

“....You still believed what happened to them was your fault,don't you?”

Illya would have her eyes covered by her hair, but she would answer, her voice filled with sadness.
"If it wasn't mine, i don't want to know who would be the one responsible for it.... I was the closest one, and I tried to reach them in time .... If I could be able to, I could have saved them..... But I don't have the ability to travel in time, or the magic to use necromancy...... I'm a total failure."

“.....if that is what you think than I'll just say this:I myself am also partially responsible for their deaths.”

Jing explained,before looking away.

“I didn't stress the point when I warned them not to leave the house under any circumstances. And because of it I allowed the killer to make their move.”

Illya's eyes widened, but then she would look down again.
"There's..... No way we can...... Get over it..... Can we?"

“I don't think so.”

Jing admitted,averting his gaze shamefully.

“However....I don't want it to keep slowing me down anymore.”

He stood up,looking at back at Illya.

“I've lost Master Takeshi,Sarah,and now Ikazuchi and Akatsuki. But...it took me far too long to remember that they wouldn't want me moping because they've died. Whether or not the reasons had something to do with me,or you.”

Jing then held a hand out to Illya to help her back on her feet.

“I'm not going to let them stop me or murder anyone else I care for anymore. Not as long as our enemy is still out there. Not as long as I can still stand. I'm sure they have faith that you'll think that too. Especially Ikazuchi and Akatsuki.”

Illya would take Jing's hand, before getting up to hug him.
"I.... Want to do what I can to move on. I want to go forward to the future I desire. Jing, can you promise me something? Whatever happens, to either of us, we have to end this..... We have to stop them."

“It isn't a promise if I'm already on board with it.”

Jing responded,returning the favour as he embraced Illya warmly while petting Illya on the head.

“After all. I don't think Felicia would be happy to know that her beloved was getting despondent because of what our enemies are doing.”

"I completely forgot about her! She isn't going to be mad at me for this will she?!"

“I....don't know about that.....truth be told.”

Jing answered,a tad bit awkwardly since he also forgot about Illya's girlfriend as well until now

“Try calling for Lucifer...I suppose? I don't really know how exactly do I exit from the inner realm either,to be honest.”

Lucifer would appear, at the call of his name.
"You do realize that it's just like any other time you're unconscious? Just focus on waking up."
"I feel like an Idiot now."

Upon seeing Illya leave the inner realm,Jing sighed and closed his eyes.

It must be nice,to have the reason of living for the person you loved dearly.

Opening his eyes,he now found himself back at the edge of Aokigahara.

Illya would wake up, as she felt someone making lip contact with her. She would widen her eyes, as she would quickly jump out of bed doing the "Kudelia DAB".
"You're awake now!"
"And that wasn't what I was expecting to happen! If you weren't living with us and looking like Jing's female counterpart, I'd have decked you in the face and called the cops!"

Illya would say, pointing a shaky finger at Hina.
"But it worked didn't it? The kiss of life?"
Hina would say, smiling with closed eyes.

"Uh.... Er..... Um..."
She had a point in a way.

Heh.....Kudelia Dab....*ahem*. Anyway.

Jing was now travelling back towards Shinjuku,thinking about what Ciel had told him.

"It is okay to be selfish as long as it is for good reasons" huh? .....She's right.

-Minutes later, at Edefelt Residence-

Illya would put the doorbell, and the door opened, but it wasn't who she thought was answering.
"Zakuro? Where's Felicia?"
"She's out right now."
"What do you mean?"
"She's..... Looking for the killer, and we know who it was."
