Of course, such information was something that he already knew and had filed into the cabinets in his mind, but to hear her say it was something else entirely. "And sorry, if you think you're gonna get away from that 'sweetheart nonsense', you chose to work with the wrong guy. Ever lass I encounter earns a nickname or two. I think 'sweetheart' suits you just fine." A low chuckle grumbled from his chest.
Balthier began the ascent up the Great Stairs of Yukumo, reaching the top of the village with Nari by his side. "Well. I appreciate your kindness, Nari. Not all are akin to work with scallywags like me. Guess that makes you a gift." He fumbled with the sapphire as he looked up the Guild Hall, noticing the silhouettes of a tall man and short girl standing before the Master.
"Who do you suppose they are?"
