Guardians of a City

[Ricia]

Adlric was kind of awake. He was use to getting up early to work and what not, but for once he just wanted to enjoy laying in bed. Or lazying around.

 

[InsaneTruth]

"One worning, its time to get up," Shania put the food on his hopechest.

 

[Ricia]

Aldric sighed, "Why can't I just relax for once?" He mummbled.

 

[InsaneTruth]

"Because now theres a city that needs you to learn to defend it," shania said the food smelled good sausage bacon eggs toast and milk.

 

[Ricia]

"Can... I take a bath?" He asked still wrapped in the blanket.

 

[InsaneTruth]

Shanai was now annoyed "sure heres the water." she threw the bucket on him

 

[Ricia]

Adlric launched out of bed now wet. "What the hell! You got my new bed wet! There is no way its going to dry by tonight!"

 

[InsaneTruth]

"it will so now get up and eat," Shania said "I'll throw more water next time,"

 

[Ricia]

"You're a really awful person.." Aldric pouted from the floor.

 

[InsaneTruth]

"indeed, I forgot to get you soap," She said hands on her hips she was in training clothing a breast band and shorts.

 

[Ricia]

Aldric was not amused, in fact he was rather upset. He sighed and got up to eat without another word. He guessed he was just had to take the abuse.

 

[InsaneTruth]

as heate Shania took off the wet blankets so that everything could dry. She was not one to be crossed that was sertain but she was not a half bad cook.

 

[Ricia]

"This is pretty good..." He said softly while he ate.

 

[InsaneTruth]

"I dont cook as well as Sage but its passable," Shania said "I wont let you starve,"

 

[Ricia]

"I didn't think starvation was a problem I had to worry about..." Aldric said humorlessly.

 

[InsaneTruth]

"It is, if the gaurdians fail to protect the city," Shania said. "What do you think happens if the city falls?" she obviously took jobs of protection very seriously.

 

[Ricia]

"Umm... lots of dead people?" Al said with a grin.

 

[InsaneTruth]

"and no food for you to eat so yes starvation is an issue," Shania said.

 

[Ricia]

"It's not a current issue though..." He said with a huff.

 

[InsaneTruth]

"Ok i'll stopp feeding you then," Shania said

 

[Ricia]

"Fine i'll fend for myself, won't be anything new for me." He said with a bigger huff.

 

[InsaneTruth]

"Then dont complain," She told him crossing her arms "Look kid, this in not a high paying job, you get food shelter and respect but not much else,"

 

[Ricia]

"I just asked for a bit of time to relax. Its all new to me. But if you want me to be a mindless drone just tell me now." He said putting down he plate and peeling off his wet shirt to get dressed.

 

[InsaneTruth]

"No but I want to get you your weapon today," Shania said.

 

[Ricia]

"Ok. I'll be ready in a moment. Thanks for the food." Al said getting dressed.
