Guardian Angel Of Mine

Cole frowns as Dakota gets up, "Uh... Where're you going..?"

Dakota is fully dressed as she looks down at him. "Forget that Carver still has to talk to me? I've neglected talking to him long enough Cole." She said then turned on her bare heel and walked out of the room, closing the door behind her as she looked around for Carver. "Oh angellll?" She called, slightly teasing him.

Cole sighs, laying back against the bed with a huff of annoyance.

Carver hears Dakota's call and curiously pokes his head out the kitchen, "Yes, darling~?" He asks, teasing back.

Dakota gets a smirk as she walks in there and wraps her arms around his waist as if she were the man of the nonexistent relationship of their's. "Whatcha cookin hot stuff?" She teases, liking playful Carver more than butthead version.

Carver chuckles lightly, gently swaying to play along with the act as he puts his hand on hers, the other holding up a spatula. "Lasagne."

Dakota licks her lips. "Sounds yummy." She said then pulled away and sat on the counter, her smirk now a smile as she looked into his eyes. "Let's just hope you're as good as a cook as you are a butthead.~" She teased at him playfully.

Carver rolls his eyes playfully and chuckles lightly, "Yeah, yeah." He wasn't entirely sure why he was being so kind to Dakota, but the uncomfortable warmth in his stomach and chest has changed to a quite happy one, leaving him feeling contented and joyous as he puts down his spatula and covers his hand with a potholder, reaching into the oven he pulls out the purple tinted cake pan. He lifts up the tinfoil before setting it back on the oven rack, "Just a little longer."

Dakota claps her hands together as she smells the sweet smell of food, making her stomach growl quite loudly. "Mmm..I can't wait." She said happily, then got a rather serious look on her face. "Now on to business aye? What is it you need to tell me about?" She asked, her tone serious.

Carver makes a whining sound, "Noooo! Not while I'm cooking! It's my sanctuary!"

Carver lets out an exaggerated sigh, "Fiiine. It's not even that important."

Carver rolls his eyes with a soft smile, "Seriously. It's not anything big." He leans against the opposite counter, smiling at Dakota. However, his expression soon becomes quizzical as he gazes at her, trying to figure out the feelings he gets by so much as glancing her direction.

Carver shakes himself from his thoughts and shakes his head to Dakota, "No reason..." He sighs, "Anyway.. What do you like to eat?"

Carver chuckles and shakes his head, "Good enough." He smiles before walking to the counter and beginning to chop up the various vegetables sitting there to make up a salad.

Carver chuckles, "As are you." Though he said it at a volume loud enough to hear, he said it more to himself.

Carver rolls his eyes, "What? So you think you're not confusing? Then explain the feelings in my chest." He says, quirking a challenging eyebrow at her.

Dakota blushes lightly. "Uh..what?" She said a bit shocked. "I don't know what feelings you have for me." She said softly.

Carver sighs, "See? Neither do I. That's why you're so confusing." He shakes his head beforee turning back to the upcoming salad.

The warmth in Carver's chest turns uncomfortable once more, almost painful as he becomes unreasonably angry. He tightly grips to the knife before stabbing it into the marble countertop, "Dammit!" He shouts loudly, unsure of the cause of his frustration.
