Colorful music!

Ayane's face was still red.

She didn't like the awkward atmosphere that had been passed between Ayts and the cat girl, but she couldn't just turn his offer down. She swirled her backpack around and back over her shoulders, taking his hand with a thankful look. "T-thank you Ayts-sama." She said softly, staring down at the floor.

Oceane raised a brow at the mumbler as he walked off and rolled her eyes, turning back toward the office desk. "Oceane Castallana." She recited her name to the office worker, who in turn gave Oceane her schedule. With a word of thanks, she turned and left the office, going over her schedule. "So it looks like my first class should be right down this hallway," Oceane said to herself, "But I didn't sign up for this class." She furrowed her brow and huffed angrily, her temper already getting the best of her. She decided that she would speak to the principal immediately about this tasteless error, and once again smoke began to curl from her lips as she stalked off to find the principal. Who knows, maybe he'll be nice. She thought to herself with an eye roll.

Amida noticed the problem that Oceane was having and immediately sent his illusional principle to resolve the matter once more.

"You! Are you the principal?" She called down the hallway at the man walking toward her. He had a smooth gait and almost eerily calm demeanor. By now smoke was pouring from her nostrils and out her ears, making her look like a walking brushfire. Sparks escaped her mouth when she spoke, and she knew she had to calm down before she set the place on fire. Oceane took a deep breath and held tightly to her tail. She spoke through gritted teeth, "My schedule is wrong and it needs to be fixed immediately."

Amida made the illusion speak. He noticed that it was a chimera, a lioness chimera at that so he hoped her sense of smell would be corrupted by the smoke she was causing, and her anger so that she wouldn't notice that the illusion had no scent. "Hello Oceane Castallana, I would like to apologise for inconveniencing you with this unprofessional mistake. I would also like to apologize on behalf of the school for taking time out of your day. Have a nice day miss Casablanca, I hope you have an entertaining year." He had a friendly demeanor as he spoke, smile lines apparent on his face. However at the last sentence he had an insane look in his eye, and his smile turned creepy.

"It's Castallana." She sneered, but quickly composed herself. "Thank you for admitting your facetious mistake, and I would hope for your sake it doesn't happen again." She smiled, though it fell quickly after she realized that the man before her had no smell. "What are you?" She asked, eyebrow raised. Her tail twitched erratically as she spoke, "You don't smell. In other cases that would be considered a compliment, but you literally have no smell. Are you a ghost? A hallucination? An illusion? Answer me at once!" Oceane hissed.

Amida sighed, agitated at being found out. "Well, no helping it, let's just hope she doesn't spread rumors about the principle being an illusion." He then made the illusion disappear before continuing his conversation with Thanatos or 'Adrian', completely ignoring the fact that she never got the proper schedule.

((lmao it's okay!! I thought it was an entertaining choice to mispronounce her name :) ))

"Excuse me! No! You cannot just disappear on me like that!" She screeched, sparks flying from her lips. She stormed down the hallways and finally happened upon two men talking. "Excuse me, but could someone please direct me to the principal? He's got a lot of explaining to do." She growled, her tail twitching and her tongue aflame.

Amida silently cursed to himself at being found by the lioness. "Umm, sorry I don't know my way around very well, first day at school ya know?" He sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck. He literally invented deceit as he literally made the universe and the gods within. Thus his lies and acts were near impossible to see through, and had no scent of fear or anxiety.

Oceane sighed and shook her head. "I'm sorry for approaching you both so rudely and abruptly. I'm Oceane." She smiled kindly, all traces of anger gone from her face, save for her still fiery tongue and smoking ears. "I hope that we can be friends throughout the school year, but as a fair warning I do shift between a handful of other appearances, so i'm sure we'll have a couple more introductions after this one. And you are..?" She asked them with a smile.

"My name is Joseph Amida, nice to make your acquaintance Oceane. I to, hope that we can be good friends this year. I will let my good friend here introduce himself." He said so in a very courteous manner, not acting suspicious in the least.

"Joseph Amida." She repeated aloud, as to help her remember his name. He had a nice and courteous demeanor, and she blushed at his agreement of being good friends. "Hopefully we'll have some classes together, Joseph, although I'm not even completely sure of my own schedule due to the damn principal." She rolled her eyes.

He tried to recall her schedule from the top of his head. He remembered and created the paper on top of the stage. He then pointed towards the paper, saying, "Oceane, I believe I see something over there. Let us check it out shall we?" He motioned for Oceane to follow him towards it.

She smiled at him and followed obediently, tail flickering curiously. "You must have excellent eyesight to have seen this paper from where we were standing." She quipped, eyeing him with a playful smirk.

"U-Uh yeah I guess, I don't really think it's that great though." He stammered rubbing his neck with a sheepish expression adorned on his face.

Oceane's eyes widened slightly and her cheeks faintly flushed. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable." She grabbed ahold of her tail and twisted it around her knuckles, a nervous habit.

"No, no, it's fine, don't berate yourself over it please." He had a slightly panicked and worrying expression, showing the genuineness of his actions. "W-Well then let's find out what this paper is." He then picked up the paper and read it aloud. "Hmm, it's a schedule, Oceane Castallana. Um Oceane is this yours?" He put his hand out, gently grasping the schedule waiting for her to take it.

Oceane let her tail fall from her hands and she let out a small sigh of relief. "Uh, yeah actually. That is me." She said as she reached out to take it from him. Her eyes scoured over it, trying to distract herself from the fact that their hands had briefly brushed against each other as she took the schedule. "Wow, it looks like everything's right this time! But that doesn't mean the principal's off the hook. I'm gonna tear him a new one." She muttered with a slight pout. She wanted to be mad, but that was a surprisingly quick rearrangement of classes to fix her schedule.

Despite the fact that Joe was all powerful, he still paled slightly. "Go easy on him okay, without him there wouldn't be any school." In his mind he thought "There also wouldn't be a universe to live in either." (Italics are thoughts from now on, for me anyway)

She laughed, a puff of smoke leaving her lips. "Oh Joseph, do you really think I'd actually cause any harm to the principal? I'd sooner bury myself alive. I value my education far too much to let myself make such a rash decision." She smiled warmly. "You look a little pale. Are you alright?" She asked him, concerned.

Hearing that his face returned to normal. "Yes, I'm quite fine. I heard today was a day where we had no classes so as to be able to familiarize ourselves with the layout of the school. Would you like to accompany me in exploring the school grounds?"

"Wonderful! Of course." She smiled warmly, cheeks blushing faintly. "Do you think the school has a garden?" She asked herself aloud, following Joseph as the two set off to explore the campus.

"I had time to study a map of the school so I know where everything is, except the principles office, that wasn't listed. Yes there is a garden, I can take you there if you would like?"
