"Thanks Joe, but there's something I need to tell you." Echo took off his hood, revealing his partly faded form. "You remember that day you saved me from the fall, right? Well, only part of me survived, the other part of me stayed in nothingness or oblivion, whichever you like more. But oblivion is even worse than the true void, making you want to stay and forget everything. All of your desires are there to make you stay for eternity. So in my weakened form, I need help venturing back and reclaiming my power. I will never have a true form again, not unless you can conjure it, or something along those lines. So, will you help me?"

When Rex got teleported he end up on top of the school. From there he taped what left of the fight and after it was over he said queitly to himself "intill today I didn't bive in gods and now I made friends with a ice goddess and witness a battle multiple gods. The world grown in day I geuss." Rex then was silent as started heading to the stair before smirking about what his next invention will be, somthing to defeat a god.

"I know Echo, I've known for a while now. It's just that you disappeared on me that I could not summon it back, but now that your here, I can do so. It is after all, still within my realm. My realm is all and it is everything." He then closed his eyes, concentrating hard. Searching deep within the realm, he found his friend's lost half. He snapped his fingers, bringing it back to the mortal realm. "There Echo, good as new." He pat him on the shoulder, smiling gently.

"Thank you friend. Well, now that I have my power back, I might as well fix this." Echo summons his staff and mutters words, then shoves it in the ground. Immediately, the ground starts regenerating, as well as the school. "Well, this might take a while, so I've got time to chat." Echo knew that Joe didn't know about the realm in between. In between life and death, heaven and hell, ect. The dimension ruled by its own rules. Echo had only been there shortly, but it only was because of the anomaly he was put through. It cannot be described.

She watched her spirit dog bring the human back to safety and was now able to somewhat relax. She fell back and closed her eyes exhausted from the crazy day. Flower spirits rested on her as the began to drift off, tree spirits watching over her from the shadows.

Ras awoke with leaves in hair, a prank apparently Eiji. She sighed picking them out and realising she had fallen asleep in the middle of the academy under a tree. Although she hardly cared, she stood brushing herself off and looking around, the sun had just risen and it must have been early morning as there was barely anyone around, the wind caused her dreadlocks and trench coat to flail slightly as she looked in the other direction, away from the sun.


She looked to the academy and shrugged, she wasn't technically a student or teacher but since she was here anyway she might had well look around. She proceeded into the building and began wandering the halls, looking around. She observed classrooms, science departments and more before sitting on a seat in the building. She sighed to herself and looked around. "I can see it all.....I can see how all of them will eventually die, and when. If only I could remain as ignorant as them. Yet there is some that I don't see, and that hasn't happened before. How intriguing". She muttered to herself as she leaned back and closed her eyes for a moment.

"Some say ingorence is bliss but I prefer my smarts over it Ms. Death" Rex said walking over to Ras hearing what she just said. "But if you want I could help with that, make you ignorant to other futures and a bit more" Rex offered with a smile on his face.

"I'd love to not be able to see such things but it is impractical, as depressing as it is, I have to be able to see all the deaths. Otherwise I can't do my job. I'm fine, I'm used to it by now, I've always been able to see them so it's mostly like background noise to me". She said as she stood up. She clicked her neck and looked over at Rex, Ras was quite short in comparison to him but it didn't seem to bother her.


She sniffed the air taking in his scent. "Elf huh, so that's what you are. Strangely you remind me of a scientist I once worked with, you just seem to have that curiosity in your eyes". She said as she walked over toward a window next to the man and looked out. "Mortal's, humans and most races are so narrow minded when it comes to the world, thinking in such black and white terms. They fear what they do not understand. "Fear is what creates order...but the amount of fear is much greater than the amount of actual danger. There is an excess of fear. It's far too perilous to gaze at the future through the eyes of fear." She said simply.


"People also love to judge others as "good" or as "bad" and stating that these two are reality, real things, that goodness and badness is something factual intertwined with reality itself. Such idiocy. How did they learn of the reality that they speak of? The entire world is governed by the reasoning of dirty-minded adults, we're able to obscure reality according to our obsessions, we're never actually shown what reality is, in this case, the reality that they speak of is a half-baked nonsense that has been altered, trying to conform this bullshit reality into the one you want is like trying to join two pieces of a puzzle that do not fit, you see, it's simple, there is no inherent right or wrong in this world, those labels are just artificial constructs.


Right and wrong are held by positions of authority, that is the way it's always been, so how then could anyone know this truth they speak of? Don't you see the reality is that truth long ago became nothing more than a shadow of itself; it's a mere echo of the past now...the world is one big moral gray area, it just makes you feel safer that it can be categorised into good and bad, but that's not how it actually works". She said with a sense of certainty. She seemed to understand the world perfectly due to her unimaginable years of existence.


She had been there since the beginning after all. And as such she has gained ancient and forbidden knoledge, understanding the building blocks of the universe itself to a fundamental level. She turned to him. "Sorry, I'm babbling again, it seem to happen a lot when I begin to think about things". She said simply, not really caring a great deal but he probably didn't need to hear her ranting about the world all the same.

"You have probably heard of him, Einstein. I knew him when he was a boy and watched him grow and understand the world. He was a human unlike any other with an unmatched intellect". She said simply, she turned back to him and smirked. "You share the same curiosity as him, I can see it in your eyes, in the way you move and speak. You are a great mind, very great indeed.


I myself have conducted many experiments, and have learned almost every magic in existence, I have even made my own original spells. As well as researching something called a magic catalyst. Dissected a multitude of spicies and recorded them in my archive magic. Perhaps I should explain, archive magic is a fairly new concept, but is very useful for one such as myself.


Or you on that note, this Magic allows me to convert information into magical data, which can be stored, enabling me to gain access to previously stored information, such as other types of Magic. It is mainly used by flat-screens which are projected into the air. These screens are very durable and can be used as a shield. It also allows me to transfer information from person to person more quickly than through verbal communication". She said factually and simply.


Ras put her hand to the side as two golden coloured circles appeared one smaller one just in front of her and diagonally placed, it had various virtual circular buttons for issuing commands in the archive. There was an inner golden ring and an outer one, between the two were several ancient runes just outside the first ring and buttons. At the bottom was a golden hand brace for long hours of typing, it had a jagged shape and a point at the bottom at the top of the circle was a single gold triangle, pointing outwards from Ras.


There was a elongated gold diamond with two same coloured wings, they were directly horizontal and positioned just below the second circle above and in front of the first, which curled in toward the diamond. The second circle had the same inner and outer circular pattern and with the runes between them once more, except this one was much larger, the size of a large flatscreen TV, and had two sets of three golden lines coming off the outermost line on each side of the circle.


8 screens suddenly opened up on the large circle. Four in the middle, two diagonally up, to the righ and left of the top one. Two diagonally below the two two to the sides on the same hight level as the bottom one but diagonally again. On these screens was an immense amount of information, data regarding all types of magics, and usages, how to achieve a unison raid and allow two Mage's to fuse magics, lost magics, caster magics, holder magics, ancient magics.


As well as that were profiles of millions of people,mine recent entries included the man himself and much much more, impossible to remember it all, Ras had obviously out all this into archive to access whenever she needed to. "This is archive magic, a very handy magic indeed. It's help me when I've had to transfer information, recon and when strategically commanding a group". She said after demonstrating how it looked.

Having woke up under the tree he had fallen asleep under, realizing he was alone he decided to wander and explore the Academy. "I have only been here a day, and I slept through most of it." He tells himself with a yawn, before getting up and heading to the Academy. 'I wonder if Ras got annoyed by all those leaves.' He thought to himself with a small laugh. 'She seemed so carefree, kinda envious.' Upon entering the building and a bit of wandering around, he came upon Ras, talking to someone "She is the only one I have pretty much had a conversation with since I came here." He states, speaking to himself as he walks up to them. "Hello, Ras. Sleep well?" He asks her before turning toward Rex. "Nice to meet you as well, may I ask your name?" He asks Rex, trying to be polite as possible.

"Would you be able to teach me how to do archive magic? It would help with storing all my blue prints and keeping them safe" Rex said excited after seeing it done. Then he looked at guy who just walked up them and said "I'm Rex Cog and what's your name?".

"Eiji, Eiji Isayama." He states politely, giving Rex a nice smile his sharp teeth showing. "Rex, glad to meet you. Honestly, I have only been here for about a day and I have only talked to Ras. So meeting a new person is a really refreshing."

The dog had disappeared leaving him alone in the now quiet forest once again. He had to thank the dog's owner, whoever it was. Now that his life wasn't in immediate danger, he looked up at the sky and gained his bearings. With that, he strode back to where the destruction occurred and where the academy was probably located.

Jon yawned and stretched, sitting beneath a large oak tree. He took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. Relaxing was one of his favorite things to do. If only he had more time to do it. Hey, screw that lame, generic introduction thing that is supposed to introduce the character. Character development will happen throughout the story. Deal with it. Who are you taking to? Them. Who's them. You're always saying them. The people that-ah nevermind. Look, we are all crazy. Just let it go. Jon sighed. "I hate these damn people."

"Now.....you wouldn't know anything about how those leaves got in my hair, would you?" She asked with a slight hint of malice, but more just to mess with him than to actually cause any harm.

And I'm sure you'll find several uses for it, especially with your kind of mind in any case". She said with a methodical look.

"I have talked to a lot of people here yet either. So good to meet you" Rex said to Eiji but he didn't noticed Eiji in a headlock... Or didn't care.

"Jutsu Shiki is a form of Letter Magic in which the I am is able to create barriers in certain areas by surrounding it with Magic Runes. Those who step inside these runes will be trapped and forced to obey the rules that I set up beforehand. These rules range from age or time limits, to tasks that must be completed, such as defeating others within the spells boundaries. Due to the nature of this Magic, it is more suited for trapping rather than for direct combat. In addition, it also takes a significant amount of time to cast". Ras stated simply. "But I can teach you this and others. And I may be able to help you with your work too, heh, as a fellow scientist". She said with a smirk, continuing to keep Eiji in a headlock.

Jon was walking around, taking in scents and such. He couldn't help but enjoy the many smells. It made it seem like he was normal. No voices. No freaks. Hey, don't blame us for your freakishness. Blame him. Blame who? God? Well, something like that. He's associated with them. Man, it's always "them" with you. In all the years we've shared a body, you've never told me who "they" are. You wouldn't understand. Hell, they don't even understand. No one at this damn place understands. The wall prevents you from finding out.

"It be honor to work with you on a few projects, and I have one I could use some help with in mind" Rex said calming down alittle but still had a grin on his face. "I'm planing on make mech of sorts, with a lot of power" Rex added grinning a now evil grin.

"Heh". She finally released Eiji from the headlock and grinned. "What kind of power? I can manipulate a lot of power, including one magic, thand primordial source of magic where all known magics come from,mint the mention, death itself, the power which causes things to rot, grow old, die in any sense. I think this, will be an interesting project". Sh stated with certainty and a look of pure curiosity and interest.

"After watching the little battle of the gods that happend not to long ago I'd decide I should have somthing in case somthing like that got to... Ras smirked. "Is that so? Well I can help you with that, I have created several anti-God devises in the past for other mortal's I have known. I will install a certain device I have, it's called the ultimate nullified, it can break down particles at a subatomic level and nullify any and all powers it comes into contact with. Even that of gods". She said with a methodical and honest look.

"That would help greatly and be very fun to use. I'm planing on drawing up the inshall blue prints soon and start having what items I don't have already in my lab be sent to me. Could you help so I know were the device you talked about would go?" Rex said grinning about the idea of such a device.
