The superhero genre always has an unnecessarily large number of characters. This is to be expected.

It's not a question of genre, I just don't think an RP can handle this many players.

I can see where you're coming from, since RPs with many players are usually the result of poor management. However, the point I was trying to make was that the superhero genre is probably the best at handling many players because it's de-centralized with multiple plotlines that characters can be divided between.

If you ask me, that's kind of a dick move right there. If you're gonna randomly(?) select people to be part of this, you should tell them in the interest check so they know what to expect.
