Realistic or Modern Gritty Street Level Superhero RP [The Guardians] [Story Driven] [Complex]

Oh, naaaaah I'm looking to keep supernatural elements out of the rp because of the street level / grit of it all. I don't want it to get too out of hand with the fantasy; the powers are derived from science and it's more of a gangster + struggling vigilante setting. At the end of the day, it's all about city corruption, human experimentation, and a group of people who are trying to protect those they care about. Don't get me wrong though, there can be certain elements / quirks regarding your characters that were derived from mythology, but I really don't want to stick actual magic and cosmology into this universe.
As for character sheets, the antagonists were left ambiguous because of their mysterious nature from the Guardians' point of view. But, each antagonist player has the ability to build their character through rp interaction, the decisions they make, and flashbacks. I'll be making the Godhead RPN room soon, but you're all free to take some time and think about what you want for your backstories. Run those ideas by me or Hunter Ross! In terms of powers, prefeeeerably keep your guys powerless since your strength is in your resources, and again, preserving the grit that this rp is based on. Remember though, you can make superpowered OCs if / when your Godhead leader is defeated.

As the CEO of a Private Security Company, I have access to military grade hardware and corn-fed crooks who flex their muscle for corporate cash. I don't really need superpowers ^^

As a drug cartel kingpin I have drugs!

BloodThunder27 BloodThunder27 For antagonists, we don't really have a template because of their ambiguous natures which will be released through rp, but I can get our coder to whip something up if you'd like. Resource - Character Sheet Template You can also play around with this stuff if you'd like.
Oh, so leave it up to the Heroes to find out what they're up against. Still, I think at least my fellow villains have a right to know who they're working with. I'd love it if our coder had something for us. Its only fair ^_^

Violet Shade and the LA Transportation Owner roles have recently opened up! Their details are on the first message; grab the character(s) if you're interested and are willing to do multi-para rp!

We need someone to either play Dean Kolton or John Lawford (our current John can switch to Dean if someone else wants John), but I swear that this is the last time someone we'll need someone unless the unspeakable happens, like a swarm of locusts or the ninth deadly plague :lennymeh:

Bump again, we've started but are still in the very early stages of the rp; there won't be a lot to catch up on as of yet.

I'm rather interested in playing a villain. Would it be alright if, Instead of the Korean Mob Boss, I played the Godhead's Lead Scientist(The one responsible for all the technological innovations of Godhead?)
