Aaay, I'm mushy and I'm new to literate rping but I've been larping since elementary school. A friend of mine does literate a lot and I slowly became interested. Alas, I'm not huge on writing and this stuff still terrifies me. So this is mainly me stepping out of my comfort zone and growing a bit.

Welcome to RPNation, Mushy! If ya need help getting accustomed to forum rping, there's plenty of people around here you can ask, like me! I don't bite, I promise :3. To get an overall feel for it though, I'd check the Tutorials section of the forums. They can be very helpful in that regard.

Literate RPing is the best! (I might be biased.) But to encourage you, I had found out long ago that rping in a more literate manner is actually really helpful for improving writing skills. (It's why I'm still on this scene, to be honest.) I could accredit roleplays to one of the reasons I passed my writing tests back in middle school! (Wow, that was a long time ago......)

Yes! That's something I've noticed with my best friend, he writes with the creativity of Dr. Seuss and the finesse of Michelangelo at the speed of lightning. It's really cool.
