News Greetings 2016, May I have Another? (2015 Review)

Me: Hey, what's up?


Friend: Nothin much, what about you?


Me: Well, I just finished a chapter in a story I am writing.


Friend: Aw, that's so lame! Why don't you play video games?


Me: I do! Writing is just another hobby of mine.


Friend: ....lame. -_-


Thank goodness RPNation exists, it saves me from more pointless conversations with friends such as this. I hope to continue roleplaying on this site for a long time. (<3)
 
I joined rpn years ago, but this will probably have been most memorable one. Although my first meeting with pine was 2014 :)
 
I just wanted to thank the staff of RPN SO MUCH for all the time, effort, work, and energy you put into this site so that all of us users could have an amazing experience role playing on this website. Without you guys, I don't think I would be coming back every day, bc the people of RPN have become much more than people I write with, they've become my friends. The amount of work that goes on behind the scenes to keep this site alive is unimaginable, so I just want to let you guys know how appreciative we are of your enthusiasm and energy!
 
Reading the stuff from January and remembering nearly all of it with clarity has made me realize how long I've been coming to this site nearly every day!


Thanks for the amusing and informative retrospective.
 
What a wonderful bunch of lovely updates. Precious, indeed. I'm so glad I found this fun community, met so many people, and see how close people are on here. Everyone is an artist and writer on this site and it's so cool to see all the creativity. I wish I could dedicate more time to focus on helping in any way I can, being the little member I am, but Shiro works and has a community group starting up. I hope I can put my voice out there in the future as I'll be here for awhile.


Cheers to all of you here and I have enjoyed so much of this site. Thanks for all the creativity, love, sweat, and work you put into this wonderful site. Love to you all and here's to more role playing!

@The Dark Wizard - Thank you for a wonderful site! :) For one who has mental issues with being alone (and as a house wife/stay at home mom(who's child is in school Monday-Friday), I'm alone rather often) being a part of this site has really helped me so much. Through ups and downs of my year in 2015, RpN has been that constant that has, in all honesty, kept me sane. I've made so many friends that are all online at so many different times that at any time I can log on, and I don't feel so lonely any more. It's absolutely amazing, and I'm certainly ecstatic that I found RpN! (On Google, even!) Thank you, thank you, thank you! :) (And I must add, I'm a little jealous ;P I don't know how many times I've told myself, since I began Rping at the tender age of 16, that it would be amazing to (essentially) have a job rping xD And look at you! Doing what you love :) You're awesome!!)

I was borderline ready to give up on role playing, but then I took a chance and joined up with RPN. I was greeted with a large amount of friendly welcomes. I even made a good friend right away, looking at you @AkuTheWolfOkami. Throughout 2015 I made a few more friends and joined many a role play. I started to join projects with the group of members I like to rp with now, although I'm not certain if they keep me around because they like me, or if it's because I'm persistent.
I'm glad I joined RPN. Just know, this site and it's people kept me interested in role playing and I plan on staying here a long time. Thank you so much people of RPN.

Its been an impressive year. Reading over all of this, I think it is fair to say that it has been a year of changes. Not all of these were necessarily positive or innovative, some were certainly turbulent! Yet this year will live on as a bittersweet memory, with the funniest events being remembered.


Regardless - Thank you for the year in review. It is hard to believe how much time has passed. I can't wait to see where you and your Staff take the site in this upcoming year. Who knows what stories you will have to tell by 2017?

Using this site to roleplay helps me prepare for any challange that is thrown my way. I can not put into words my gratitude. Thank you
