I finished with the passage quickly and decided to read on.


'Okay that's just gross' I though after finding out how Aphrodite was born.


Apperantly Aphrodite was born in sea-foam from the castrated genitals of the sky-god Ouranos. I finished that story and began reading about the romance of Ares and her. As I read I could of sworn I felt and saw everything that was happening between them. As though it was happening to me.


'But that's crazy' I scoffed shrugging it off and continued reading.

Warren glanced in the chatty group's direction even as the teacher turned up. Was that chick crazy or did she actually go to Europe? He ground his eraser into the paper Sean gave him. Warren grudgingly admitted that Britney was kind of hot too. In an evil, not with a ten foot pole, kind of way.


Warren flipped open his book and started reading. "Ares is the coolest." Warren said under his breath. He glanced at Sean. "No one liked him but who cares? He was the god of war. And Aphrodite had the hots for him. That's sounds pretty good in my book."

Danica nudged Yasmine as the teacher entered, telling them to find a god and read a passage explaining them. she reached for Yasmines book, flipping it open to the page about Athena. She began reading, blinking as the words seemed to brighten, almost glowing. She took a finger and pulled it over the words. She pulled back, feeling a pain, and glanced to Sonny as he gave her his book. She smiled then passed Yasmine`s book back to her, closing it. She opened Sonny`s book back to Athena and continued reading. She thought she was a hlucinating, bescause as she touched her finger to a image of Athena, words, imformation and knowledge seemed to flood her mind, giving her a headache, only to stop when she removed her finger. She decided to stop reading, for the shake of anything else NOT happening.

Yasmine took her ear-buds out at Danica`s nudge. She then looked to the teacher, catching the part about reading a passage. She looked to Danica when she pushed the book back. She shrugged and flipped her book open to Demeter. She began reading. She already knew about her, but read for the shake of reading. She blinked as a image of grain and people harvesting it appeared in front of her then disappeared. She glanced around, wondering if anyone else had seen that. She found that everyone else was busy, and continued reading.

"Thanks," he muttered gratefully to Brooke and started reading the other page that had Hephaestus on it. Sounds like me, he could but think when he read of Hephaestus who was thrown away from the Olympos by his mother because he wasn't as perfect ass her other children. Because of that fall Hephaestus hurt his leg badly and could never walk the same again. Sean felt a hollow pain in his left leg and cringed, how much of the same they could be?


Hephaestus who was the blacksmith of the gods made them everything they needed even after he was thrown away from Olympos, even married Afrodite who could not be loyal to him because of his terrible looks and lifestyle that contained a cave and a lot of ironmaking. Well, that he could understand. Who would want to be with a person who just crafts all the time? Shucking a little he realized that he would gladly be forever alone with a cheating wife if he could have that garage of his.


When he heard Warren speaking he turned to him "True, but Afrodite was taken, was she not? Is it cool to take a taken woman?"

Brooke said nothing as she read over about the water goddess/god, smiling a bit about how the powers of the goddess/god could shake the earth when angered and cause storms and had control over water. She blinked slightly as she smelt a salty breeze blow by and looked outside slightly.

Britney read more about Hera. Honestly, Hera was amazing. She was pretty much the ruler of Olympus. Zeus was always busy hooking up with other mortals.


The way that Hera gets back at people, was bad-ass. Britney wished she could get back at Zeus though.


"That Zeus guy doesn't deserve Hera," Britney said to herself, though Alex could probably hear.


Britney did read some parts where Hera was, well, a b*tch. But, overall, she was pretty amazing.

(Hey you guys I was wondering if I could not be married or dating Hephaestus after all this is a new time I don't like how she cheated on him last time just because of his looks. I'm trying to make a kind non judgemental character. I mean we don't want them to be exactly like their past self's as they've had different life's.)

Alex sat back up, this time, he leaned over the book and started reading carefully.


Zeus was the father of many gods, he lead the fight against the Titans and even his own father Cronus.


The symbols of Zeus were also displayed on the page: An eagle, thunderbolt, bull and oak.


"Interesting." Alex thought as he kept reading, "To have that kind of power and respect---"

Brooke snorted as she glanced back at him. "Which you don't have. Also Apparently Zeus didn't just cheat on Hera with mortals but with his sister as well... Demeter... And with titans such as Laeus who was the mother of Apollo and his twin Artemis..." she said while listening to music and reading.

Britney snickered. It was true, he didn't really have respect.


"Yeah, honestly Zeus was a whore. I mean, the way he treated Hera," Britney rolled her eyes.


"Brooke, you made a really good point,"

I muffled a giggle at Brooks words knowing they were true. In my mind Zeus was a power hungry play boy with no morals and only had others respect because of fear. After I covered up my giggle I went back to reading. Aphrodite was kind of a bitch even I could admit that but she loved to pair others up and looked good doing it. Plus I can't blame her for cheating with Ares he sounds pretty hot.

"Hey hey hey, what's with all the hate on Zeus?"


Alex took it almost personally, for some reason.


"He's not perfect, but he's also under a lot of stress, people expect a lot of him since he's the King of the Gods, it's not like other Gods didn't make mistakes!"


Alex stopped himself, he was rambling. Almost defending Zeus and for what? It's not like he was real or anything!

Brooke looked at Brittany slightly and gave her a slight nod. "Thanks... Plus Him and Hera were siblings as well which is a bit weird... I don't know why Hera would stay with him..." she said and shook her head slightly while going back to reading.

"Apollo was pretty cool, played music, god of sunlight, poetry, art, medicine, and he was pretty smart. Kind of a boss of a god if I say so myself!" He laughed a little. He continued to read as he drew in his notebook, a copy of a statue. He looked at the statue, "Nah... I think he woulda looked like this..." He started to draw again.

Warren pursed his lips. "Yeah." He said glancing in Sean's direction. "But all the gods did stuff like that. Not just Ares." He noticed Alex getting upset over the reading and made a face. "He was king so he could do whatever he wanted." Warren grudgingly acknowledged. He didn't want to agree with Alex on anything though and frowned.

"Exactly! Thank you Warren and it's not like he saved his siblings from his crazy dad after he ate them or anything"


Alex frowned, everyone was hating on Zeus, after all the amazing things he did.

"Your right Alex he was under a lot of stress but there was other ways of taking care of it than falling for anyone he laid eyes on. I mean really that just gives him a bad name." I said flipping my hair back.


"Plus I hate how he claims to love those he fucks. Love is everlasting and eternal. It is not a one night stand." I sighed getting lost in thought. Love makes the world go round without it there would only be fear terror and war.

Brooke snorted. "You obviously missed the fact it wasn't just Zeus who saved his siblings from Kronos... but him, Hades and Poseida saved them." she said while looking at him with an icy glare.

"Oh and Sonny." I called snapping out of my thoughts. Though I could think about love forever." Apollo may have been cool but his jokes were not."


I said this with a certain certainty and I didn't know why.

Sean looked at the arguing people around him. He started to understand why Hephaestus never tried to claim his right to a throne in the room of main gods even one of them rightfully belonged to him. If the gods were anything like these Hephaestus would surely go crazy.


"Yes, none of the gods are perfect. I think that that might be the point," Sean gave his own opinion to the argument rolling around.

Sonny just smiled, "Well everyone is entitled to their own opinion I guess." He finished his drawing, and looked at it, "that's what he looked like. What do you think Brooke?" He showed it to her. It looked like him.

"Hey, you know, Hera couldn't break the fucking oath, I bet she would've left that motherfucking Zeus," Britney said.


"But I agree, Zeus Cheats way too much. Even though he has a lot of stress, he shouldn't deal with it by hooking up with other woman. Plus, Hera takes care of most the work," Britney said making a statement.

Brooke raises a brow and looks at the drawing then him. "Dude... he looks like you and she should find a way to break the oath. She deserves better. Plus, she didn't sleep around with anyone and Zeus still cheats on her." she said while glancing at Brittany before hearing Sean's argument. "I suppose that's true... Since Hera did throw one of her sons down Mount Olympus and got Laeus poisoned... But hey... she did it for Zeus... Why..? I don't know."

Hearing Sean's words I nodded in agreement. No one was perfect not even gods and it showed we all had our faults.


"Hes right!" I yelled over the crowd "Zeus was power hungry, Hera was jealous, Appolo told bad jokes, Ares liked fighting to much and even Aphrodite was a shallow bitch. None of them was perfect and they weren't meant to be because even gods are people no matter how much power they have."

Warren flopped his book back on his desk. His expression soured after Alex thanked him. "It's not like it matters." He said. Warren touched the side of his neck and searched for a clock to see how much longer he had to stay in class. He twirled Sean's pencil in his hand. Warren rolled his eyes hearing Britney defend Hera again. "Why don't we talk about how Zeus and Hera were shit parents?" He muttered. "Zeus actually comes out and tell Ares how much he hates him." For some reason, Warren looked at Alex. "Fantastic parenting."
