Ooh, Riddler's a classic. Well, there's no rush but just write up something in the sign-up section when you're ready.


Feel free to sign up for multiples. You don't need to write a sample for each individual character; one sample will serve my purposes. It doesn't even need to be the Riddler or even set in the Batman universe. I'm just using it to make sure that you can write decently.
 
Absolutely fine. Like I said, there's no rush. It's the holiday season and while my family's Christmas plans are next to none, I understand if it winds up taking days or whatnot. It's a busy season for most. I look forward to it. :)

Alright, so I'm thinking that Penguin is much more important to have as a character in this roleplay than Scarecrow/Mad Hatter. I've stuck a pin in that particular plotline, if there's a lull later I might bring them back, but I'll be switching them for Penguin since he and the Iceberg Lounge are at the middle of the story right now.
 
I'm going to try and keep this up to date, let me know if you want to make any correction

You'll just need to add Dent's territory since he does have some currently; Cobblepot's been inching into it as of late leading to Harvey's retaliation.

This is just the percentage of the territory that our characters possess not the whole sum of available Gotham territory. Characters like Falcone/Maroni/Black Mask/etc. have their own separate territory that we can go into if we want to get those characters involved (Or if others want to join). There is also some unclaimed territory that won't factor into our numbers that we could fight over that wouldn't draw in any other characters.

I forget where Iceberg Lounge is, but I'm currently working on a dice system that'll dictate gang battles.


 
What I have so far is you get the number of goons each post equal to how many locations you have captured. (E.G. Five locations, five goons per post) as for battles, one gang's goons is subtracted from the others, then each player rolls a twenty-die and adds the number of goons (left after subtracting) to whatever it lands on.


 
Also, I think if you plan on controlling Penguin you should have him invite Kingpin and Riddler(?) into his office and such. Also, possibly mid-conversation the battle for the Iceberg Lounge occurs. Sorry, if I'm overwhelming chat or whatever else, I'm just super excited for this rp. (Also I have a few story ideas)

Weeeeel, I don't know much either, but I'm figuring it out as I go along. So, you could either create an OC, or rp as someone from Batman's Rogue Gallery ( recommended ) right now, we really need a Penguin.

I would offer to be Penguin but I know I suck at rping as him xD Has Harely Quinn or Ivy been taken yet? But if you need a Penguin, I can try my best

You're really going to have to hold my hand for this dice thing. I've never done a roleplay with dice before and that makes me nervous, but I've really warmed up to the idea because it's the best way to decide gang battles and the like fairly. Dent would really like the idea of leaving it to chance, I'd imagine.


I'd love to say where the Iceberg Lounge is, but the only Gotham map I'm familiar with is from the Arkham games and this map has a few of the landmarks switched around, I would say it's probably between 27 and 40 (Dixon Dock/One Gotham Center) though.

I've really never done a dice roleplay, but this seems like fun~ I think I would probably be better with Talia al Ghul, Catwoman, or the Ventriloquist. Which would need me to be most cause I'm okay being any of the three I listed?

11:00 p.m. Not too monumental of a difference on my end. I was about to call it a night soon. I'm on break from uni right now, but a couple of unusually early mornings in a row and a busy day have sapped me of energy.


No character stands out as being more needed than any other and I like all of them (especially Talia and Selina) so unless someone else has a suggestion then I would just go with whichever one that you want to play most. :)
 
I'm most interested in Talia, just because of how the assassins might play out in this.


 
As for university, I have to do this group project when I get back from break and we have to adapt a modern work to Ancient Greece. My group is doing.......The Fresh Prince of Athens.

Oh yes I am ver interested. This seems to be based off of when Gotham was hit with an earthquake and all the major powers split the city up. Not bad indeed. I'm a comic junkie so this is right up my ally for those of you who don't know. I am also VERY familiar with dice rolling. Having played and ran games based of the d20 system...so....lets do this! Though I have only read a few post before responding so I'm not even sure about all of the details >_>.
 
Awesome! I thought this would be something right up your alley. What character(s) were you thinking of playing?
 
oh hehehehe i have such a knowledge of his rogues gallery but I do believe I will settle on Ra's al ghul, The Penguin or Hush. Probably Ra's though. I wuv him.


 
Also if anyone has a question on characters I can be a great resource...I read a lot of comics....a lot. >_>
 
Hahaha oh man, the Fresh Prince of Athens sounds amazing. I wish my undergrad degree had cool assignments like that. I only ever wrote essays until I got into the education program... I do stuff like that now haha. Education program... I wish I never had to leave.


I believe Apollogy was considering Talia, so it would be extremely interesting to have both of them in the roleplay and interacting with the League of Shadows. You might want to talk to her if you feel that you need to be on the same page, but otherwise you could post at any time. I know your writing meets my standards.
