RULES/REQUIREMENTS -
1. Be kind, polite, and respectful. We're here to have fun, not rage at each other. If you can't follow this rule, you will be kicked and your character will be killed off.
2. I want this roleplay to be active. So please do not express interest or make a character if you cannot be active (i.e. 2-3 posts per week preferably). However, if something does come up where you will be gone for an extended period of time or leaving completely, please let me know!
3. This is not a one-liner rp. So there will be a 2 paragraph minimum per post. Please try your best to be grammatically correct, but I know that everyone makes mistakes!
5. This is NOT first come, first serve. I'm hoping to keep an equal balance of vampires, werewolves, humans, and hunters if I can.
6. If an issue arises, please contact me first. Like I said before, we want this to be respectful, fun community.
7. Romance isn't required, but more than welcome. However, stick to RPN rules, and do not force it on anyone.

PLOT -
Welcome to the beautiful seaside town of Moonlight, Oregon, known for our scenic forests, beaches, and ports. Here, you will find quite a diverse group of people who are generally kind....as long as you stay in the right part of town. When Moonlight was settled many years ago, it was a refuge for the supernatural, vampires and werewolves alike. They divided the town into three parts: the North, the South, and the neutral Midtown. Recently, there has been a bit of conflict between the North and South, as humans have begun to move into Midtown between their two territories. Because humans, aside from hunters, are oblivious to the existence of the supernatural, the two groups must figure out a way to deal with the situation covertly and keep their true identities hidden. Unfortunately, the werewolves and vampires can't seem to agree, and instead despise each other even more because of it. But besides all that, Moonlight is a gorgeous place to live! We hope you enjoy your stay in Moonlight!
North:North Moonlight sits alongside the beautiful Lykos forest, a large Hemlock-Fir nature reserve that spans hundreds of square miles. Here, you will find a vast array of campsites as well as Moonlight landmarks such as the R&R cafe, Lupa's Bar, and Fenrir Casino. Under the control of the Selene Werewolf Pack, these hometown favorites cover the pack's criminal endeavors: drugs, weapons, and gambling. Anyone who steps on the Selene Pack's territory must abide by their rules, or deal with the consequences.
Selene Pack Positions:
Alpha: The Alpha is the most powerful, highest ranking member of the pack as they hold absolute control over their pack members. The Alpha is responsible for leading the pack in their endeavors, establishing pack territory and its safety, accepting strangers into the pack, or driving errant wolves out of the pack. They are responsible for keeping the pack in order and in control and will take many precautions to see that the pack is not harmed. Each pack member is considered family but respect is still present. They tell the pack what to do, where to go, and how to work. Keeping things at a strict basis is their way of showing their care and concern for the pack mates.The Alpha can also choose their most trusted companions to become their Betas. They demand respect and are in the position to punish or banish those who do not show it. An Alpha's command cannot be disobeyed without consequences.
Beta: The Beta is the second-highest ranking wolf in the pack just below the Alpha. When the Alpha is absent for any reason, it is the Beta's job to make sure the pack is organized and under control. Any problems that occur in the pack, the Beta reports to the Alpha and allows the Alpha to make the decisions. They are usually the Alpha's most trusted companions, and have a certain level of authority over the rest of the pack.
Delta: The Delta is known as the third-in-command of the pack. They are below the Alpha and Beta, but are higher up in the rankings than other wolves. The Delta usually acts as advisers to the Alpha and Betas, and generally are the voice of the rest of the pack in decision-making. They are generally also the lead warrior of the pack.
Epsilons: The remaining bulk of the pack, comprised of non-ranking wolves. Generally, warriors in pack endeavors.
Omega: The lowest ranking member of the pack. Usually, the Omega is the troublemaker, the instigator, or even the least "wolfish," meaning they don't have the normal hardened demeanor of a werewolf. The Omega tends to be a flexible position depending on who the Alpha is most annoyed with at the time.
South:In contrast to the North, we have the rich and beautiful South side of Moonlight. Built and maintained with old money, the South is home of Moonlight's upper class district. With a variety of posh restaurants and attractions such as Ichor Fine Dining, Haema Botanical Gardens, and Empusa Galleria, South Moonlight is simply a place of luxury. Disguised as the private investment and financial firm, the Sanguis Vampire Clan lives a lavish life of the best and newest, whether it be technology, cars, or homes, and rarely want for anything. But even perfection and extravagance can have cracks.
Sanguis Clan:
Doyen: The Doyen is the alpha of the vampires. They are what many refer to as the vampire elder, though they are not always be the oldest. The Doyen does not necessarily oversee operations, but they are certainly aware and make changes if necessary. They, along with the Regent, are the two lawmakers of the clan. If the two do not agree, a Democratic vote is instated.
Regent: The Regent is the Doyen's right hand man (or woman). The Regent is more closely involved in overseeing operations inside of the clan. If the Doyen dies, the Regent will take over. The Regent is handpicked by the Doyen, and usually have a close relationship. Like the Doyen, they have a lot of political power within the clan. If they are unable to agree with their Doyen, then a Democratic vote is utilized.
Prelate: The Prelate is a coven leader in training. Usually, they are an older vampire who has shown exceptional leadership qualities. Like the Regent, they will often check up on operations to prepare for their future occupation. When the Regent dies or advances, the Prelate becomes the new Regent. Their duties are almost the same as the Regent, but they don't have the same amount of political power.
Sentries: The Sentries are the majority of the remaining members of the clan. They specialize in defense and offense as well as work together to maintain order and peace in the clan. In addition to this, their duties include turning new vampires, finding new sources of blood, and protecting each other. They prevent secrets from escaping and are essentially the muscle of the clan.
Fledglings: Fledglings are the newest members of the clan. A vampire usually spends a few years as a fledgling before finding their role. In the mean time, they will be assessed and watched closely by the Doyen, the Regent, and the Prelate to judge their abilities and self-control.
Midtown:Finally, we have Midtown, Moonlight's up-and-coming neighborhood. Drawing in people from all over with its beautiful ports and beach-side living, Midtown is quickly growing from once being the neutral territory between the North and South to its own territory. Filled with all types of fun, Midtown is home to beautiful ports covered in markets, festivals, and even an amusement park. Moonlight University overlooks the ocean, and is home to one of the best Business degree programs in the state. At night, Midtown fills with the neon lights of various dance clubs, arcades, and entertainment. But don't be fooled by the carefree enjoyment that occurs here. Not all humans are as oblivious as you think.
Hunters: They usually are just typical humans who, unlike others, believe in supernatural beings and, even more, they fight against them to protect normal people from harm. One of the most recurring reasons to go into the hunter lifestyle is a tragedy in their lives that involved the supernatural. However, there are other reasons to decide being a supernatural hunter, such as being raised as one. It is also shown that supernatural hunters typically pass their knowledge onto their children, as they could be killed by supernatural creatures that look for revenge or could appear. When they do so, a family of supernatural hunters is formed.
Humans: Innocent humans who are oblivious to the supernatural world.
