"Imma, Imma ghost, who the fuck you gon' call?
Mossin' with a scarecrow in the field, no (caw)"
basic information:
name: asher wild
age: appears in his early to mid-twenties
gender: male
sexuality: asexual
species: vampire
role: sentry
appearance: asher's easy on the eyes, that's what most generally notice upon first glance. he's pretty. not handsome, like one would generally claim a man to be, but pretty. almost unnaturally so. he is tall, all angles and sharp turns, and although there is muscle to be found under his skin, he would be better described as lean and snake-like, than like that of a bull. he is a patchwork of large pieces to an even larger puzzle. his skin is pale, perfectly smooth, painted evenly like the canvas of a master artist. such primness is disturbing, such immaculate perfection is frightening, for nothing normal should be so eerily put together. a shadow risen from a graveyard dance, a demon summoned from a night of treachery, the man embodies exactly what his species should be.
the sclera of his eyes is a stark white, harsh in contrast to the tiny pinprick of a pupil in the middle. his eyes have no iris. they are like lanterns in the night, bright and glowing, promising to lead the way to safety. they are not, however, the comforting light one would strive so hard to find in the middle of a dark forest. they are ever searching, ever aware, ever attentive - their intensity is unique. but they are dangerous. they hide ill intentions, and they hide them well.
asher's hair is solid black. it is slightly longer in the front than it is in the back. the smooth strands drape in front of his narrow face, long enough to cover his dark eyebrows, slender and arched over top of those unnatural eyes. the rest falls along the sides of his cheeks, covering his pointed ears.
he has an expressive face, and it is not uncommon for a grin to grace his features, pulling his lips up to one side in a cruel show of amusement. his tongue and his gums are both dark, nearly black in color. his teeth, canines especially, are pointed, tapering off into a smooth, sharp edge. His hands are slender, graceful, but tipped with black nails that are near claw-like.
he wears dark clothing, and has a sense of style that does not always fit with the modern people. trench coats are a favorite. asher will occasionally wear dark sunglasses when in public.

"Lucifer reborn as a god,
feast on the blood dripping down my jaw"
persona:
personality: a fiend of darkness, a vessel of black, a harbinger of fear, asher feeds off of that which weakens others. fear is a word that is almost unknown to him - anything which would bring weakness upon him is shunned, is disregarded. he is a purveyor of the dead, a friend of the night. he is most comfortable with blackness of the deepest kind stuck to his flesh, curling its fingers against his skin, painting his heart obsidian. he dances in the darkness others flinch from, bathes in the moonlight others protest against. he is a shadow risen from a wild, chaotic corner of the earth, driven by insatiable needs for destruction.
he is a dog, salivating with lust, chasing after cars which he can never quite reach. he has many thoughts, all tumbling about in his skull, many thoughts that distract him, drive him towards madness. asher has a vicious love for disruption, an inhuman need for what always seems to elude him. he does not want what is easy. he needs what stimulates him, what invigorates him, what propels him into a grotesquely inhuman state of want. and oh, does he want. he lives a selfish, greedy lifestyle, a lifestyle where he strives for chaos and that which challenges him. nothing that is easy to attain is ever fun, and asher is all about fun. he quivers with the need to fulfill his insatiable thirst for anarchy.
though his madness may suggest otherwise, asher is actually extremely intelligent in regard to others. he is a chessmaster. as he is completely unaffected by most other beings, he treats them rather like objects he can manipulate, he can shamelessly pick them apart and expose their innards like a raven ripping upon the flesh of roadkill. he sees everything objectively, the objective being to destroy. he does not wish for anything in particular; he has no set plan, no agenda, no direction. he simply does things, without any regard for the consequences. he cannot be intimidated because he thrives off of what others fear. he cannot be loved because he is, quite simply, a monster. and he is utterly euphoric about it.
to try to understand him would be futile. asher does not follow a set plan, he does not heed to the social order, he does not fall into any patterns previously set by others who thought they knew the brain's innermost workings. he is mad - but perhaps not in the sense that he does not think. in fact, he thinks more than average, but his thoughts tend not to adhere to the norm of others with a moral compass. he thinks logistically and yet chaotically; realistically and yet destructively. he analyzes, yet he creates disorder. he makes everything seem very simple even though it is very difficult. asher is not utterly off his rocker. upon first meeting him, though he may not appear normal, one might think him just odd, maybe a bit eerie. it is because asher is a master of disguises, of manipulation. one may not even know his real name for the years they have known him. because he is able to draw fear from another by studying them, analyzing them, he is able to manipulate them using what he knows will distort them. because he treats life like a crazy social experiment, he picks up on subtleties most miss about others. he dissects them, and by the time he is done with the conversation, he knows what will make the other tick. and he uses it.
perhaps this is what makes him the most dangerous. asher does not necessarily have to go out and act for himself to get things done. he understands enough of others to be able to use them as pawns on his great dark chessboard. this is what makes him deadly; scary: not the fact that he desires chaos, but the fact that it can never be directly tied to him. he uses others to do his bidding, controlling them through complex series of mind games that only one as cunning and wild as he could think up. he does not have to act, and yet, his task will be completed.

"Step out of my line and get outlined in chalk
Prince of the dark and the dead will walk"
biography:
history:
asher is old. very, very old. he has wreaked havoc for years upon years, but he's been doing so from behind the curtains, pulling strings and controlling those in power. he has been many people, and gone by many names. he could tell you he was the cause of an assassination, or the fall of an empire, and most would not be able to tell if he were lying or not. would you?
asher's a curious being, a wanderer, and chooses not to stay in one place for too long, else others get suspicious about the trail of bad luck and odd happenings he tends to leave behind him. he's been across the world many, many times. asher came upon moonlight not too long ago (although, in his terms, 'not too long' could either be a few decades or a few weeks), and only because it had been a place he'd never really had the chance to explore before.
but ah, the vampires are what made him stay. he found the group not by luck or coincidence, but by simply digging a little deeper than most would care to. although he's met many vampires and other creatures alike through his long lifetime, it's not often he comes across a group of them, all in one place. the clan here has kept asher busy for now, and they have piqued his interest for the time being. he may not trust them fully, nor expect any trust in return, but he will stay until boredom strikes him once more.
