i'm not exactly sure what type of content is expected in threads such as these,,, but i hope everyone is doing well !​

• i hail from the fan-fiction/role-playing mush known as quotev, although since they have removed the groups (generally meant for role-playing over regular discussions), its role-playing-users have been scrambling to find another way to discover new role-playing partners.
  • evidently, i am one of those users, and let me tell you how many websites i've tried to scour that has a simple interface and a navigable layout –
    • that also means that i'm probably typing in a "quotevian dialect" or with a quotivian mindset, so i apologize if i'm casually referring to things that are nonexistent or uncommon here !
  • i've been role-playing for four years now, and have generally stuck to anime and manga, such as psycho pass, owari no seraph, and magi. with that being said, i do enjoy original role-plays molded around ocs and their relations.
• as a role-play partner here, i will do my best to type around six full-lines of text, in size twelve font, per character. i'm not sure if that's considered acceptable on this site, however, so please notify me of the standard norms and i will gladly conform to them.
  • on quotev, i was able to write around 25 lines per character in sub-script, if that can give you a reference point for my capabilities !

i am definitely eager to make friends and such ! i would love to interact with anyone and everyone. uvu talk about anything you'd like, if you'd even like to. once more, please take care. ✩​

i've also noticed a large influx of quotev users here and i honestly had no idea you could rp on there, i legit thought it was only quizzes. so that's pretty interesting.

the quotev administrators haven't even notified quotev users as to why they removed the option to browse for role-play groups - that's probably why you believe that there are only quizzes there. everyone is very disappointed, to say the least . . . but i have heard that the rpnation community us very amiable and cordial, so i'm excited that i've branched off. ლ(´ڡ`ლ) ​

oh, i've been on quotev a looonnngggg time ago but i never noticed it, haha. i think it's because i was on a private browser taking cringy quizzes to see my potential boifus in animes. so that site is buried deep within my subconscious. honestly though, there aren't too many things that are different on here, the people are really nice and i don't think you'll have too many problems finding an rp on here ^^

× a friendly tip: you may want to learn some basic bbcode, there's a really helpful tutorial in the bbcode section and if you want to learn more in-depth, i'd be more than willing to help you out!​

i suppose that quotev is attempting to steer the community to be more fan-fiction/quiz based nowadays, which is very unfortunate. ; a ; but some quizzes and stories on there are very satisfying to read. uvu​

a bbcode thread did catch my eye two days ago ! although, i'm a little more concerned with not seeming like an oddball over code for now - i might take you up on your kind offer sometime, though. ヽ(*´∀｀)ノ thank you for that tip ! i hope your day has been pleasant thus far. ​

probably, olol. i can kind of understand that, but it'd be nice if they gave people a head's up about what's going on around the site. bbcode is fun for the most part, but once you start going more in depth you start to slowly lose your mind, haha. don't be afraid to pm me if you ever want to chat as well!
