Keri shifted slightly in her seat - if she was going to be sitting like this for a while she wanted to be comfortable. Seeing that he wasn't going to give up too easily, she rested her hand on the table top and started to drum her fingers on it, in the hope it would break his concentration. It wasn't cheating really, she told herself.

Still maintaining eye contact i start to tap my foot on the ground in rhythm with her taping fingers.and think to myself "okay maybe this was worth showing up on time for it's been awhile since i have had this much fun.but i will never admit it."

Keri smiled again. It had been a while since she had had such a fun opponent and she wanted to see what he could do. She changed the rhythm of her fingers, a silent challenge in her eyes for him to keep up with her.

As i notice the rhythm pick up speed i adjust the speed of my tapping foot to match it and my smirk turns into a grin while keeping my eye's locked with hers. I bring my hand up to my desk to add a second beat to the sound. And think to my self "lets see if you can match this."

Keri's smile widened and she began tapping her foot against the desk to match his hand, still never breaking eye contact. It was becoming harder to keep both rhythms going and maintain eye contact, but she kept at it.

Seeing this girl that he has just met and been having this contest with as a first meeting able to maintain the two rhythms and keep eye contact. Has earned her some respect from him and so as a thank you for making this day worth showing up for. I pretend that i notice my phone go off which breaks the eye contact and disturbs my rhythm and i lower my head then let out a sigh. I then lift my head up and say "good game i had fun and my name is Nightshade but everyone calls me Night."

Keri was beginning to tire but she was going to keep going as long as she could. The boy suddenly looked down as if his phone had gone off, and she gave a small sigh of relief. "Thanks, I had fun too. I'm Keranna, but I prefer Keri." She frowned, mentally assessing him. "Who are your parents? Some people are easy to guess," she motioned towards Katherine "but I'm not so sure about you."

"My parents are Seth and Hathor.who are yours." I say as I try and start guessing here's in my head but can't figure it out.

Keri smiled as she saw him doing exactly the same as she had. "Sekmet and Thoth. Seth's a cool god though - sometimes I think I'd rather have him as a father than Thoth, who's always going on about the importance of learning and boring stuff like that. I spend more time with mum but I got dad's powers unfortunately."

Rei went to class smiling and being happy she sat in the front of the class and sang quietly and she has the best singing voice you could hear really it was beautiful

As Keri told me her parents and that she would much she likes my dad. I nod and say "yeah he is awesome and i try to follow his example. Which my mom frowns on and is always punishing me in weird and cruel ways for doing so." As i we are sitting their i hear someone singing one of the best songs i have ever heard. So i get up to act like i am throwing something away and see who was producing the angelic sound and go over and say "you have a wonderful voice."

No I'm the daughter of Ra the sun God and I don't know my mom but I had this voice since I was little so yah I really don't remember much about her at all so yah Rei says.

Noticing that Rei is not really paying much attention to the conversation any more. I get a annoyed look on my face and go back and sit next to Keri. As i walked away tho i could tell she was thinking of some one. So as i sit at my desk i stair at Rei and try to make her feel angry towards the person she is thinking about.
