An editing oversight that reappeared in 2nd. Edition?
I wouldn't put it past WW. Their "editing" is often severely lacking.

Where in the second edition did it reappear?

... Whoops. That's odd. I could have sworn it said yellow. Oh well.

Exalted Second Edition Core Book [WW80000]: Page 388, Under the description of the Slayer Khatar.  First Sentence says"... made of steel alloyed with yellow jade and orichalcum,..."

That is most likely an editing mistake. The text speaks of earth elementals helping in the creation etc.

He is the shadow that came into being when the Unconquered Sun let his light shine across Creation for the first time. He's a generally misunderstood being.

He wants to do good, he admires his shining brother, but he cannot withstand to be in the light of US. Which has given him some of an (undeserved) rep as a creature of darkness (which is true) and evil (which is not).

He is in Compass of Terrestrial Direction vol 1: Scavenger Lands, pg. 150.

I'd tenatively say that the Celestial incarna both A: Recieve the Bonuses for Using the appropiate magical material, and b can use The charms of their chosen type...

However both I think are academic issues.... The only reason they'd practice the CHARMS as such is as a scholarship... as exalted charms just emulate the power of the incarna.

I'd imagine ... SPECIFICALY that the incarna did NOT learn their powers as individual charms.

When compared against the huge dice pools and perfect effects the Incarna likely have, a +1 or +2 from a weapon would be laughably insignificant.

You need Whirlwind Armor Donning Parana to get ready faster.

Or an overzealous midget Drill Instructor that seemed to have a porcupine constantly shoved up his ass.

He could just 'gently' nudge you into moving faster.

*ah, the memories*

You really should stop trying. :P

I believe you know the answer to that.

Edit: Oh.  And that wasn't trying to be annoying/disturbing.  That was one of my DIs from my days in MCRD, SanDiego.
