The sun rises over Tokyo, Japan...

The week begins the same as any other. Adults getting ready for work, children for school and ZenTech... ZenTech getting ready to end the lives of those affected by The Deity Program. This is the story of those who have been affected and their plight to survive in a world forever changed by their appearance.

(I'm first to post, it seems. Well, here we go.)

It's a normal day for Nemuru. The sun in the sky, her going to school, but once again, she's hiding a secret. She's one of those that were affected by ZenTech's spores. Her hair had to be dyed and contacts in to return her eyes and hair to their purple state. She didn't know how long she could keep this up, but she had to try, or else she'd probably end up killed. Her father was the co-founder of ZenTech, so one'd think she could save herself by having her father do something, but she of all people knew that wouldn't happen. Her father'd never once truly cared about her, which made him a no-go for safety.

Friday l 8:00 am l Tokyo – Shopping District

Sun shined upon an otherwise uneventful morning, for most people at least. People made their way back and forth along the street destination in mind alongside their personal problems. Ari wondered how many of them shared her worried or fears as she strolled along side the masses headphone in her ears drowning out the city noise with the sounds of guitar riffs and drum solos. She kept her hands tucked into her dark gray hoodie a white plastic back hanging from the crook of her elbow holding the contents of her mornings journey out to the grocery store. Honestly if it were up to her she would be home sleeping but her parents had been extra noisy when getting ready for work today. She only managed another half hour of being lazy in bed before her stomach demanded food. Unfortunately none was in the fridge hence her need to actually leave her safe home.

She spotted several girls in school uniforms making their way obediently to class giggling among themselves and her eye twitched slightly. She normally didn't like them gossiping air heads because they were an annoying waste of oxygen but lately she found herself more frustrated with not just them but most of her peers. Ari knew it was in her head but she couldn't help but be irritated by how carefree everyone else was while she was living everyday hoping not to get shot. She was never a model student but she had started skipping school more often now since the 'incident'. There was always the worry she could shock someone and be found out. It didn't help that he mind kept thinking of worst case scenarios, Like the Zentech dogs invading the school with their scanners to find other like herself. Ari knew it wasn't a likely event but still possible.

A paranoid chill ran up her spine and her honey brown eyes scanned around the crowd spotting a small troop of three Zen-Tech dogs sniffing around some allies. She narrowed her eyes slightly sticking to her side of the street as she kept a casual pace. She kept watch on them from the corner of her eye. She could feel the tingling of static jumping between her figures in response to her anxious state. She clenched her fists tightly to avoid doing something stupid and kept moving. As much as she would like to roast the hounds she knew better than to take on three at once.

“Keep moving, don’t need any trouble before breakfast… maybe after.” She muttered to herself

Tokyo- Residential District

Carrie had woke up today with a heckuva headache. She got to the mirror, took a look, and realized her skin had turned ashen. The implications were clear. She was one of the infected.

She got dressed and went outside to grab the paper, feeling a slight tremor as she did so. That in itself wasn't unusual; Tokyo was one of the most seismically active places on the planet. What was unusual was the fact that none of the other residents seemed to notice in the slightest. This gave her an idea.

She focused on the ground, trying to will it to rise. Within seconds, a small bump appeared in the sidewalk. Not enough to arouse any suspicion, but there nonetheless. She couldn't help smiling. Now that she knew what she could do, she'd be ready if and when ZenTech came calling.

Icarus fumbled with the withering edges of the hat he wore atop his head in a pathetic attempt to hide what had formed on the skull of his brains frontal lobe region. Thin strands of yarn swayed with each of his steps as they trailed from the black hats sown exterior. His imaginative mind seemed to have been swept away once the frightening mutations appeared, making him seem like even less of a human as if he needed help to do the natural task. And so as he strolled down the bustling road of the towns shopping district he felt out of place, as if he didn't belong with the humans around him.

He had always found himself to be dull despite his companions protests, but it was hard to believe otherwise when his monotone voice was all that ever truly left him verbally.

As if on cue a familiar girl appeared beside him from a pack of carefree school girls dressed in the same school colors as he would be if he was intending to go to school, her uniform properly addressed to; coat buttoned to the brim.

"Morning Icarus, nice hat." The girl who now strolled beside him went by the name of Rosetta, a victim to the foreign exchange program as himself. The program that tore him from his happy home of Greece. Icarus knew she wasn't meaning anything by the comment, but subconsciously with much angst his gloved fingertips still tugged the hat farther down as he smiled gratefully. The purple haired teen wasn't ever one to talk often in situations and the newest fashion accessories atop his head now made him think that if he was to speak it would somehow raise suspicion so he remained quiet even in moments he wished to speak.

"You going to school today? I can see your not dressed in our uniform..." Rosetta asked though she knew the answer well, Icarus wasn't one to stay in a single building for to long unless he was familiar and comfortable with it. At school after an hour and a half he'd begin to feel constricted and claustrophobic and ask to go to the bathroom instead leaving the schools grounds entirely. So he simply patted her head quietly before fixing the lose red tie he wore around his neck.

"Walk me there at least, please?" Icarus in most situations would have barely been able to hear her voice but it seemed the metal upgrades which had inserted themselves into his ears allowed him to hear it as if she was speaking normally. Finding it to be a simple innocent question he finally use his voice in his response though it lacked emotion he pleaded that she would hear the sincerity.

"Of course."

Light-fully skipping down the sidewalk, Hotondo made his way towards the supermarket. Careful to make sure his earmuffs stayed on, he went through the instructions his uncle had told him. "Dont buy anything that wont last long, so no candies. Buy good healthy food..." . To be honest, Hotondo had blanked him out after that, instead thinking about an awesome scene in which he would stop a giant criminal with he powers. Beginning to make a song out of the instructions, he made little attention to where he was walking. Unfortunately for Hotondo, he managed to bump right into girl with teal highlights.

(Sorry for short and kinda cliche intro)

As much as Ari wanted to just listen to her music and not think about her issues she couldn't escape the nagging voices in the back of her mind. She had been absent so often lately they were bound to send something to her home, then what? Then again she could probably convince her parents just to sign up for virtual school since it was essentially the same thing. Anything that would keep her our of view from the cops really. She hadn't told either of her parents what happened to her, mostly because they were doctors and very well known ones at that. They were always worried about their reputation and what the 'community' thought of them.Who knows what they would do if she told them, probably try to find her some kind of non existent cure, or most likely disown her. No, things were fine the way they were, she said maybe two or three words to them in passing and and they went along their own schedules.

She was abruptly snapped out of her thoughts when something or rather someone bumped into her causing her to stumble back slightly. Her amber eyes locked onto the culprit, a skinny little blond kid. She narrowed her eyes at the kid reining in her irritation which was only made worse by the fact that she was hungry. "What where your going." She snapped

There were echoes of footsteps in the early morning hours and slowly they were becoming quicker and heavier. There was only the occasional riser in the small district of Tokyo which was perfect – or at least in Niklaus’ opinion. His brown eyes looked around as if they were taking in all their information or were brooding about something – that was until he noticed the little cat by the side of the road and just couldn’t help but pick it up and cuddle it.

Hmm, Simba?” he chuckled at the odd choosing of nomenclature before placing the cat in the nearby shelter. He would have to come back later in order to pick it up. He walked along the cracked pavements until he reached the main Tokyo roads were it was a lot busier. He took a bite from his apple and smiled at the occasional people who recognised him.

He saw a couple of his classmates and began to talk to them as soon as he felt a presence watching him. At the corner of his eye he spotted a couple of members from ZenTech but he couldn't tell how many because they were in his blind spot mostly. It would probably help him blend in with other people and just like that he got lost in the busy streets of Tokyo where everyone could by anyone and people were mostly undistinguishable. It was difficult for him not to touch anyone and do something stupid like cause them to collapse in the middle of the street.

He pulled up his hood as he walked further. He knew he was most likely early for school but it would help in him sleeping in the library which is what he usually did. Klaus threw his apple into the bin before putting in his earphones and playing his music loudly so that he droned out.

So here’s to me glorifying that perhaps today wouldn't be eventful as all the other days” he spoke sarcastically before running a hand through his hair and giving a small smile.

Freyja awoke with the light spilling through her curtains, its rays filling her with energy and wakefulness. Her short hair was curled all around her face and she blew it out of the way as she stretched. She sighed and stood up walking over to her apartment window. She was on the 10th floor and got a good view of the city from her window. "Though it looks nice..it will never compare to the countryside.." She shook her head and opened the curtains wider and walked over to her closet. She picked out her usual business outfit to try and find a job. The money her cousins left behind wouldnt get her by much longer. When she was dressed she went into the bathroom to brush her teeth. While doing so she looked at the sharpness of her fangs and squinted. Suddenly her fangs grew larger and longer, snapping her toothbrush in half making her almost choke on it, "Ack!!" She coughed and took the half of her toothbrush form her mouth and looked at it then her teeth. She growled and through the brush away. She fixed her hair and grabbed her purse, looking herself over once more before leaving. She looked human enough.

"No...no...it can't be...I'm not infected..."

The plant threw a ray of light at her eyes.

"This is all a dream...more like a nightmare...the plant...it's not made out of diamonds..."

She covered her eyes wanting to only stay in the darkness. But one of her eyes only saw molecules. The tiny atoms interconnecting all before her can be seen. Pain emerged inside her head as her eye flitted everywhere. She gritted her teeth, not wanting to scream and alarm neighbors. A tear of pain came out of her abnormal eye.

Levi stood up, flailing around for some type of cloth or barrier that will cover her eye from all that it was seeing. Soon her hand came across a plain cotton glove. She brought it up to her left eye and saw nothing except darkness. The pain eased slightly. A question in the back of her mind popped up wondering how she was not seeing the compounds of the cotton but didn't ponder on it.

She turned to her desk and grabbed some tape for the fabric. Soon she had her left eye covered and she leaned back into the bedframe of her bed.

That's right...it was just a week ago...these symptoms started appearing...but they are getting worse as the days pass...and not only must I bare this pain but I must survive here.

Her hand moved up to her hair. She pulled out a strand and examined it with her normal eye. White as crystals.

Crystals...

Her eye wandered back to the plant on her nightstand. What was a bean plant now was a crystallize figure of it. She approached it closer and saw the way the sun ray's broke within the crystal.

"It's a diamond..." She whispered.

Levi was aware of her abilities at the beginning of the week, changing little things like a pen or doorknob but she didn't realize that it could take effect on living organisms. She sighed and looked down at her hands. Normal, standard, five-fingered hands.

Levi sat there, not knowing what to do at this point. Being a former A+ student, she feels the burden of skipping school now. But ever since she discovered her abnormalities arising she didn't want to risk changing anything into diamonds in front of people. ZenTech was on the hunt for them, although before she would've obliged and turn herself in, but a newfound fear caused her to stay in her tiny apartment and hide. She looked over at desk and saw a pair of gloves. Levi grabbed them and put them on. She could feel the tingling power on her hands occurring.

"No...stop...please," she begged. But to an absent plea the gloves began to slowly change. A tiny crystal formed that soon enveloped the whole glove. Soon the gloves stiffened under the transformation. Levi knew that if her fingers lingered on something for a while it would change but she was still hoping that the gloves would not be affected.

She sighed in defeat and gently took the gloves off. Her red eye looked down onto the gloves then once again to her hands. "Oh what should I do...please...anyone...I need help," Levi whispered as a tear fell onto one of the diamond gloves.

Freyja always kept her eyes glued to the sidewalk when she walked and she avoided smiling if she could. She looked normal enough that no one ever gave her a second look...accept for those few men that would pass by her. She knew she could be terrifying if she wanted to but what would be the point in that? Being found out and all..She knew the building wasnt much farther. She knew it was a pretty bad idea to walk past the school with all those students and parents but it was the only route she could take. She kept her mouth pursed and looked straight ahead and slightly up. This life sucked...this life of being infected and doomed to a life of hiding. She then noticed a pair of ZenTech workers and she almost fell over in shock! What in gods name would they be doing here? She straightened herself out and clenched her purse in her hands as she walked.

"WHAT THE HELL, MAN?!"

A man stood on a street corner shaking his fist violently, yelling out at a driver on a motorcycle that just ran over a puddle, soaking the gentleman from head to toe. That driver merely chuckled at the incident, swerving quickly around a corner and continuing on his way. Weaving between cars like he was a master at Frogger, the driver paid little attention to road etiquette, even knocking a few rear-view mirrors off the respective cars they belonged to. This path of rampant debauchery wouldn't end until the driver found himself in the faculty parking lot of Akira High School, his destination in the end. Parking his bike, he set a foot on the ground and yanked off his helmet, revealing a messy veil of black hair. His eyes shined a dramatic yellow very briefly before he reached into his bag and pulled out a pair of aviators, pushing them on casually.

Reaching into his bag once more, he pulled out a pack of cigarettes, taking one from the box and placing it between his lips. He looked around for a moment to verify that nobody was watching him and once he was clear, he touched the tip of the cigarette with his finger, the paper and tobacco inside igniting instantly. Grinning, he took a drag and got off his bike, walking towards the school with his free hand in the pocket of his leather jacket. Underneath, he wore a nice suit and vest, his collar popped up for added effect. A suit was the required uniform at this particular high school, but he wasn't about to go the whole nine yards and have a tie and blazer. No, the vest and a few unbuttoned, not-so-tucked-in bits were enough for him.

"Hey, Haruki! Haruuuuuuki! Over here!" A young woman shouted at him from some tables. She was with a group of kids who dressed very similarly to himself, allowing one to assume this was the local group of troublemakers. And one would be correct in that assumption. Haruki strutted over to them nonchalantly, smoking his cigarette all the while. "Haruki, man, we were wondering when you'd get here. That Tomiko kid was going to be getting on stage for the assembly later. We were about to head over t0 help him "set up." You in?"

Haruki inhaled the last of his cigarette before throwing it aside, giving the group a nod. "Yeah, why not. Indulge me."

Kira found herself very cowardly these days. She would look over her shoulder and be more suspicious than usual, merely because she was afraid of being caught. This happened despite telling herself that her eyes were a dark violet, almost brown or blue, so it wasn't noticeable. Also, if she didn't wear clothes that showed her hip's mark, she should be find. However, her uneasiness continued. She almost asked her mom for contacts, but that would've seemed suspicious since she had decent eyesight.

She was trying to comfort herself as she examined her appearance in the mirror after breakfast before school. She exhaled as she smoothed out the invisible wrinkles on her uniform and brushed her hair away from her face. Highschool wasn't all good, but the uniforms looked nice on her and that helped amend for some of the bad aspects in her mind. She convinced she looked normal enough. No use worrying, since it would just trigger her strange abilities. She didn't even know how she was so calm after finding out a short while ago. Accepting the supernatural was so easy when you believed in fairy tales, but this seemed more like a nightmare.

"Oh, shoot. Almost forgot." She quickly reached over and grabbed her watch, quickly putting it on her right wrist. She found it easier to tell when she was changing when she had a watch on, because the face would often turn foggier when she did. It was an extra safety precaution.

She grabbed her school bag, said goodbye to her mom, and slipped on her shoes before leaving for school. The walk from her home to her school was very short, five to ten minutes at the most. It went by even quicker because she walked at a fast pace. As she approached the school, she had to remind herself to relax and act natural.

Freyja suddenly felt herself feeling sad looking at the school. For if it werent for the country and the mutation she would be in school today..making friends, maybe in a nice relationship. But that life was not for her anymore it seemed. While she was spaced off she felt a hand on her shoulder and when she gasped and looked behind her a ZenTech worker was looking down at her. Her lips parted slightly and her eyes widened trying to find the words to get her out of this situation. But suddenly her throat was to dry and and her legs were to heavy. "Are you lost miss?" Though he said it kindly, she felt a hint of force behind it and his grip never loosened. She felt like passing out when she finally opened her mouth and her voice cracked, "N-no sir...im right where I need to be.." She tried to walk away but that didnt look like it was going to happen. She was screwed.

Icarus bit his lower lip fiercely as they neared the school building fearing that one of his other friends would approach and drag him to class despite his lack of proper school attire. That was the last thing he wished for, their strong rule against hats in the building would cause the end of him the dogs of ZenTech would soon find out and rush over as they naturally did without explanation. And as if Rosseta was capable of reading his thoughts she paused in her tracks before giving him a warm smile,

"I can continue from here, you go do what you do. I'll message you later and hopefully we can hang out I'm sure I'll need help from your smarty pants brain with my homework." The brunettes words and tone never faltered as she spoke making him nearly believe she was speaking genuinely, but his subconscious trait of distrust spoke otherwise and sent a feeling of guilt over him as he waved farewell to her not even voicing a word. The boy tugged his hat down farther on his head as other students and random individuals rushed past him, each one having a destination. One of them he had the pleasure of turning around and bumping directly into,

"Sorry." Icarus attempted to soak his words in sincerity so she would know he spoke the truth but all efforts were found to be useless as his voice remained emotionless for the long haired girl before him.

@Aes

Kira gave a small, barely audible gasp of surprise before hearing him apologize. However, his apology seemed to lack any emotion and seemed insincere. But whatever. He probably didn't even go to her school, as she deduced from his lack of proper school attire. Even if he did go to her school, he probably wasn't going today, especially with his hat. Something about him seemed to smear the word "shady" in her mind. The lack of emotion and proper uniform made him seem so abnormal in her eyes. Who didn't want to go to school? School was where all the friends were and where you could establish yourself.

"No problem, my fault completely," she replied, her voice seeming a bit sarcastic and mocking underneath. Maybe she was more bothered than she realized. She looked surprised and concerned at the tone, and quickly apologized. "Sorry, that came out meaner than intended." She didn't think he would really care how she replied, but it was mostly for her own conscience.

She couldn't fully look him in the eyes, a problem that developed with her powers. She couldn't hold eye contact for long anymore, lest someone find her eye color weird.

Icarus stepped back a little, the soft shuffle of his feet on the concrete seeming louder now that he found himself in an uncomfortable situation that caused him to most likely seem inconsiderate and rude with such a dull and sponge like tone. He expected an exaggerated huff of air to be heard before the sound of the girls shoes walking past him would begin but didn't find either so he looked upwards with his crystal blue eyes to truly look at the girl before him. And she oddly seemed familiar though he had never conversed with her before, trying to place the reason for the recognition his eyes trailed to her uniform which mocked the colors of many other students passing by them to get to the school. Perhaps it was merely the outfit that made her seem as if he'd seen her before, or maybe they just simply walked past one another at random moments and his mind recalled her dark hair.

Then a memory of his younger sister he had left in Greece came to mind and he nearly snapped his fingers and smirked at his success of figuring it out. All except for the girls eyes they imitated each others appearance and how they presented themselves, the realization nipped at him a bit making him slightly homesick and miss his sister though his expression didn't show an ounce of the emotion.

"Oh, it's just fine. You have the right to sound angry, probably just stressed out." Icarus shrugged his right shoulder a bit hoping to show that it didn't faze him all that much, as his voice continuing to lack emotion the palm of his gloved hands rubbing the back of his neck quietly.

Ari grumbled under her breath as she quickened her step and make her way home. The less time she spent on the street the better, for some reason there seemed to be a lot of dogs out. She was in such a rush that she turned a corner with out paying much attention, this time she bumped into someone else. She was about to snap at the person until she realized said person was a One of her teachers. "Fuck..." She cursed mentally of all the people to bump into. Well at least it wasn't a cop or Zen-dog . "Ah... er-Sorry." She stuttered out.

Ken Watari was her History professor, a young guy who was only a few years out of college but still fairly hard when it came to tests and assignments. He had been drinking coffee fortunately avoided getting any on himself he looked to the person who bumped into him. He arced an eyebrow slightly noticing it was a familiar young girl and not in uniform. "Miss Pierce?" Ari shifted back slightly, "Ah Hello Mr. Watari..." "Good to see you're okay. I haven't seen you in class nearly all week." "Oh... I've been really sick with a stomach bug..." She replied trying to stay calm. "That's good to hear. So I should see you in class today correct?" He questioned though his tone made it seem more like an expectation she had to meet now. "Uh... Yeah sure..." she muttered. It was one thing to skip school and not be caught, a completely different one when you're caught red handed. It could mean a long stay in detention or even suspension. The later didn't seem like such a bad thing if her parents weren't involved. "Good, I'll see you later today" Watari grinned though Ari could noticed a slight smug air about him.

Her day was ruined to say the least. She had less than an hour to change, eat and get to school before the first bell. She jogged the rest of the way home and took the stairs two at a time. Her plans for a decent breakfast were out the window, instead she settled for a piece of toast. In ten minutes flat she managed to change find and change into her uniform, forge a doctors note with one of the scripts her parents left at home and be out the door, toast in hand. She managed as fast a pace the side walks could really allow. "Should have just stayed in bed..."

Pasu breathed evenly as he felt the air hit his skin and slide off with a small amount of resistance, the lack of hair keeping his body free of any kind of speed limiter. He smiled as he looked around, his eyes darting around and taking in the blur of people and shops around him. Taking a bite out of the bagel in his hand, Pasu looked around, noticing a couple of ZenTech Employees setting up a booth of sorts, and waved good-naturedly at the dutiful hunters of the city. They noticed, and hesitantly waved back, trying to replicate the warmth the passing teen had given them. Turning the corner, Pasu let out a chuckle. While most of the infected were probably frightened of the ZenTech, he was confident of his success. His Mutation was slight, unnoticeable, and his family preference limited the amount of medical attention they could place on him, making their use of the detection tools, rather hard.

Although, there was still a chance that he could be found out, but that was his fault mostly. Before he gained his mutation, he had a lot of nervous ticks, gained from a somewhat stressful childhood. Most of them were small, tapping on a desk, twirling his hair, but his biggest tick was shaking his leg. Rather unnoticeable in most situations, but ever since the mutation he would accidently release his power in the most inopportune moments and he would suddenly have his leg vibrating under his desk, the appendage a blur to the people around him. Well, it would be if they saw it, but he was usually notified rather quickly when he did it from the low whine that feels the air. People just assume its his phone, which is usually taken up until the end of the day.

However, that was all a minor problem when compared the pros of having his power. He had always surpassed expectations when it came to his special home teaching, but due to his new speed, he was breaking limits that were set by ancestors long ago. His entire family was calling him a "Prodigy" and the "One who will save Sprinting", the latter kind of sounded ridiculous, but his family did not mess around. As Pasu turned the next corner, it was only his hyper reflexes that saved him from running into a girl who looked to be in a slight hurry. She did look rather grumpy over something however, he wonder what it was.

"Act natural... Yer just a regular high school student, nothin' ta worry 'bout. Just another wonderful day 'o learnin'." Aiden thought, as he turned the corner towards the school. Of course, if he was trying to pass himself off as anything other than a transfer student, he was failing miserably.

Sure, he was wearing a typical school uniform, carrying a backpack by the top loop at his side. But that's where the similarities would end. His eyes were covered by a pair of sunglasses, a beanie pulled down low on his head with a shock of bright red hair sticking out from underneath. His hair color, coupled with the pale color of his skin was enough for people to stare, whispering to each other as he passed. Not to mention the long scar that ran from his cheek down his neck, disappearing under his uniform. He had taken and taped his tail down around his waist to keep it from drawing attention, though it was immensely uncomfortable.

He offered a little wave to a group of girls that were staring at him, who promptly turned away and whispered to themselves. He cursed under his breath, resisting the urge to call them 'uptight feckin' cows' and kept moving, seeing the school ahead of him. His stomach started doing flips, a familiar fear of being caught sliding it's way into his mind.

"This is mental..." he would mumble under his breath, his heavy Irish brogue coming through his words. If everything went right, he'd be fine... But if it didn't, he'd have to run. Again.

Ari mumbled her breath grumbling to herself not too happy about having to go to school. She was slightly panicked what with there being Zentech around, and that was just what she could see there was no tell what kind of camera system they had. The more she thought about it the more irritated she got and the more she could feel the tingling in her hands. She took a deep breath to try and calm down as she drew closer to the school. The only good thing about the whole situation was that she didn't live across town or something. She turned a corner and stopped short of being run into, again, for the second time that morning. Thankfully this person had better awareness and could at least stop himself. However being startled coupled with her already agitated state made it very difficult not to shock him out or flex. She looked the boy over a moment noticing he was a student as well probably heading to school. He didn't actually bump into her, so there was no reason to snap or yell at him.

She let out a huff muttering under her breath about people paying more attention as she continued walking towards the school, the air around her having an almost tangible charge to it. She always had some electricity stored in her just in case she had to fight or make a distraction. it was something she learned when she started avoiding the zentach dogs. She could short out lights or electronics easily just by super charging the air, worked well in a pinch. Though at times like this when she was emotional, especially agitated, it was difficult to keep that charge in. She clenched her fists a bit tighter. "Just gotta get through the day...."

@DamagedGlasses

Carrie went out for her normal run, defiant of the edict that ZenTech had put out. She refused to let them scare her out of a normal life. Today was as good a day to die as any other.

As she passed by the school, she saw that two ZenTech thugs were accosting a girl. She was smart enough to know what that meant, but she couldn't afford to let this go. With a significant mental effort, she turned the ground under the goons' feet to a sticky mud.

Come on girl, get out of there. I can't hold this much longer.

@MorticiansDaughter

Freyja gasped when she looked at the ground and the ZenTech cursed and tried to move. This gave her the moment she needed to run. She quickly ran towards the school grounds as the guard called after her. Please god dont let them think she did that! She looked around her to see if she could see who did since it was obviously someone whom was infected. Whoever they were though she was thankful. She accidently bumped into a boy with bright red hair and she damn near fell over, "Damn heels...im sorry are you ok?" She was panting and was trying to keep calm..she could feel the transformation coming on and theres no way she could do it here. Her nails were already a few inches long and sharp as knives. The last thing she needed was to go feline here.

@Alex Phalin

Aiden was already wracked with nerves, so getting bumped into nearly made him jump out of his skin. He grabbed his hat and held it down as it started to slide off, nearly revealing his ears. Turning to the girl that bumped into him he nearly started telling her off, but quickly saw the nails on her hand.

"Shite... C'mere, quickly!" he said, grabbing her by the wrist as he lead her around the side of the school. There wasn't really anyone around, which was probably for the best since his glasses had been knocked off. Of course, he didn't realize it, his bright yellow eyes meeting hers.

"Aye, I'm fine. Ya can't go lettin' yer powers run amok around here, the ZenTech bastards'll kill ya." he said, a worried tone to his voice.

"What about you? Ya'lright? Somethin' put the fear 'o God into ya, that much's for certain."

@MorticiansDaughter

Pasu backed up quickly as he saw the girl walk away with a unhappy visage. For a second she looked like she was about to snap at him, but she had stopped herself. However, she still did not look happy, no, not one bit, and he couldn't help, but feel bad that he caused it to worsen. Catching up to the girl easily, Pasu called out, "Hey, um, I'm sorry about that. I wasn't watching where I was going." He started to run beside her, going in her direction anyway, and noticed the school outfit she was wearing. Looking down, making sure he was correct, he looked back up and said, "Hey, you go to the same Academy as I do! How old are you?"

As he waited for her answer, Pasu couldn't help, but detect a hint of tenseness in the air, not like a tenseness you would find in a argument, but more like the air was filled with something wanting to be active. It kind of tasted a bit weird, sort of how you would think sticking your tongue into an electrical outlet might feel like. Pasu shrugged, and took another bite of his bagel, enjoying how it coated his throat with the creamy filling. He was going slightly slower than he usually did on the way to school, but he was really curious as to what made this girl so ticked off.
