Fantasy Godly Knights

The flame in VECTOR's hands dissipated and smoke started to emanate from the gloves. He trew them off the edge of the building and retrieved another pair from a pouch, putting them on. The red color of the lenses also slowly changed back to the usual blue colored light. "I am supposed to escort the lot of you to a QART base in Alaska, where you will be put under a Protection Order for the time being." He cleared his throat and the rumble in his voice disappeared. "I'll explain: The protection order is something we give to mutants we know are in danger and are important. Apparently, you are all VIP's, so you will be guarded by a group of elite QART agents. I'm in charge of you, I guess."

((Im guessing that VECTOR didnt hear the phone conversation, no @The Gil ?

Irene nodded slowly, taking this in. So.. for now this guy was a non threat to her. The circulated light in her stopped, indicating nolonger building up energy to attack. A few more shards fell from the hole in her leg and she turned back to normal human form.

"Alright.. ill comply." She said, giving Advocate a look of question as to wondering if he agrees. "Never taken a trip there before. Could be fun." She knew it wouldnt be.

Advocate cocked his head and looked at VECTOR. "Alaska, huh?" That seemed quite particular safe. Not many people there. It sounded good, actually. He would get a lot more money then he would here in SniperVille. Fucking hell. "Alaska sounds good. Let's go."

((Btw, I would like to apologize to everyone. My life is being a crumbled mess right now, having a broken PC and lot of family issues, is just not being easy. I might get back to it in this weekend, making a post sending everyone to Alask and AGAIN Godmodding some of you, but I'm not sure. If anyone would like to act as a temporary sub-GM I would appreciate. If not, I might post something on the recruitment thread until my computer is fully fixed. Now, I can only answer to Sekyriu. @Darkangel666 , you're free to place everyone inside a truck who's near the house of Arthur and drive everyone to Alaska))

"It stinks down here!" Kizaru exclaimed. He landed on his feet causing a small splash. He is currently standing in the sewers. He heard recently about Wonderland run by a mysterious character named Alice. "Heh Alice in Wonderland huh." Kizaru said out loud and it echoed. Kizaru and Wonderland have the same goal but the rumors about Wonderland depicts them as very hostile. But never know until you see for yourself. Kizaru walked a leisurely pace, he was going to see Wonderland for himself.
A man approached Kizaru. It was a tall man with dark skin, wearing a long coat and a round top hat. He had a perfect posture and tried to keep a pose of superiority over the man in front of him. He spoke in a grave tone, while mimicking the way that gentlemen usually spoke, but he did in a way one could say he was almost mocking them:

6090409165_79be9e4625_z.jpg

"The Hatter I am, I greet you with greed. But first I must ask, what do you need? We have wishes to fulfill, I presume you have too. Perhaps we could join, I could, couldn't you? Wonderland gives but it doesn't takes, it is of the man what the man makes. You ask, we will give, what an exchange! As long as you're willing to follow Alice commands..."

"............" Kizaru was processing what was just said to him. Kizaru took a minute than said "I understand. Sounds good." Kizaru was contemplating joining there was apparently no middle ground, he had to join or leave. He chose join, what's the worse that can happen to someone like me he thought to himself. "Alright I'll join strange poem man." he said.

"Alright I'll join strange poem man." he said.
"Follow me, you will see". The Hatter started to walk, following many curves on the sewers, sometimes asking Kizaru to watch himself as they passed over a few crumbled rocks that sometimes would slightly flood the way they're were following, covering their shoes with a black dirty water. When they reached a dead end, The Hatter turned back towards Kizaru. "One question I must ask: Could you kill someone, could you fulfil this task? It might be necessary, this responsability you must carry. What Alice asks you, it's one thing only, a solo mission, but you won't be lonely. But first, answer me, what you defend? We all must know for what do you stand."

"Ok one question at a time." Kizaru said. "I could kill someone but that highly depends on the situation. If it's an innocent no. But some really evil person no doubt! What I stand for is the identity of all mutants. We are not dogs to be used against each other nor are we monsters that indulge in senseless rampage. We are in all ways but one human!" Kizaru said from deep within himself.

The Hatter looked at the man in front of him, analyzing from head to toes. From what he had seen about the man so far, he looked like a fiery activist on the mutants rights. He demanded equality. That could be really good or really bad. Abandoning his rhymes, The Hatter started to talk in a very serious tone. "In Wonderland, we defend the mutants and their rights to a honest living over everything. But, more than that, we respect Alice. Alice is our leader and we obbey her over pretty much everything. As sad as it can be, sometimes we must kill the brothers who betray us. And about the humans, I like some of them, the ones who respect us... First, you know why Alice is our leader? She, or he, I've never seen him or her actually, but whoever it is, it's a special kind of mutant, able to see the future. I only joined this whole thing for the money, until today when it rained that weird stuff. A couple days ago, Alice said: It will rain oil when the end days come. I'm freaking out ever since that prophecy was right. Anyways, what Alice says is that all the humans will be dead in a few weeks in a war against us and a third party, something Alice calls a 'greater evil'. This greater evil won't give a shit if you're human, a mutant or a slumdog. If we want the mutants to live, then you're going to answer this question I'm about to ask with a yes: Do you want to go to Alaska?".

Tired of fighting and after hearing that disturbing call, Toguro searched for Jack Quill under the rubble pile that once was Arthur's house. He was going to ask for help to the other guys until VECTOR, Arthur, Irene and Advocate showed up, heading towards the QART truck that Arthur always kept outside of his help. Arthur opened the back of the vehicle and said to everyone they should come inside. He pointed to Irene and said there was an aid-kit inside that could help her. Everyone got in the back, including Toguro carrying Jack Quill. Arthur thought it would be best to stay with the prisoners for now. Oddly, he thought the most trustyworthy person to drive the car would be Advocate. Advocate was on the wheel while Arthur joined everybody else in the back, closing the back door with a complex lock and turning the inner lights of the car. There was a bit of food on the side, along with plenty water and comfortable pillows to seat. One could say it was almost like a trailer. When the car started to run, silence was all that could be heard inside the back of the car. Arthur was thinking that the whole trip would be so boring he would probably kill himself before they could get there. He thought in a random subject to discuss with everyone. VECTOR could hear everything from the driver seat.

"So, you guys heard about that mutant conselor... What was her name again? Julie something? The one that died? There was even something about her on the newspapers?".

@Darkangel666 @Blood dog @Spiders @Bea Delaine @SuperChocoMilk @Sandra

VECTOR raised an eyebrow at what Advocate said under his gas mask. "She died a little before the bank bombing. I was one of the elite agents on the case, and somehow some of our agents found clues that led to Wonderland." He cleared his throat and pushed back his hood, revealing his blonde hair. "But if what you have told me is true, and they asked you to protect Irine, another mutant, I now doubt that it was them, somehow." He passed his gloved fingers through his hair and pulled the hood back up.

((Lets just say that Advocate told VECTOR about what they had asked him to do and VECTOR is no longer wanting to kill him and stuff?))

"Sounds like some heavy business is about to go down. Yes, I want to go to Alaska!" Kizaeu replied. Kizaru mind went to work at what this third party could be. Could it be aliens, robots, or nature itself? All he did know he has to fight a battle unlike any he fought before. What's just as crazy is that their leader can see the future. Well one thing at a time.

Advocate's ears perked up as he heard Julie's name. Julie? That seemed familiar... She was a mutant counselor, yeah.... HIS mutant counselor in fact. And of course, Julie was also on all those papers stuck in his pocket. Dammit. "I didn't know she was dead. Shit."
"Yeah. She spent her whole life trying to say to any of the mutants that would come around the helping center how they should deal with the fact that they couldn't use their powers, you know, shit like that, and then BAM! Some say that a mutant might have done it, but I couldn't say for sure. I mean, how many people did she counseled? There was like, ten counselors for the whole city. Hell, if one of you ever went to the helping center, it could even be one of you, haha!", Arthur said, trying to lighten up the mood.

The Hatter took of one of his gloves, uncovering a dark brown hand with a lot of veins being shown under the skin. He touched the forehead of Kizaru, who slowly started to get unconscious. "We will take you there. You are now one of our brothers". Kizaru fainted.

When he woke up, he was in a cabin. It was a comfortable cabin, with a fireplace, some canned food placed over a table, a bed, a thick rug covering all the floor, a couch. Except for the lack of every kind of communication with the outside world it looked like a pretty normal cabin. Outside there was a small mailbox. The marker on the side of it was up, indicating that mail had arrived. Looking around, you couldn't see anything but trees and snow. One could wonder how could a mailman get so far just to deliver a letter.

Irene looked to them darkly and dropped her head, not any happier to hear Arthur.

She thought about it deeply.. how death came to people who truly believed that they could make themselves a better future with less discrimination. Her uncle- no.. a subject that wouldn't be touched.

"Hey, VECTOR, Im not so sure if you're right..

Not all mutants get along and they have conflicting ideals and different motives to kill.. as anyone who believes in merging with others and fitting in would get shot by radicals who see mutants as the growing and dominating race.

Unfortunately its not so black and white so assumptions are too risky to make at the moment."

She said, voice low as she rubbed the back of her head.

"Sorry ta sound paranoid and shit."

all this talk Maid him remember about his dojo and how he tried to help moment too but failed because he cannot protect them"can we move on to different topic then this one is not making people happy"he said a little bit sadness in his voice

Irene looked at him and rose her eyebrows.

"Do you think it matters what our moral is right now?! this... I've been tracking these events for nearly my whole life and we are reaching the brink of something! Think anyone would hesitate to shoot us the moment we close our eyes and say 'hm.. this is sort of heavy for my tastes'? The bank bombing wasn't the beginning.. the beginning started a long time ago and neither of us were born to see it.

Right now, we are living the repercussions of the beginning... and at least I know I cant afford to let my guard down and forget about this."

Her nails dug into her palm and she sighed, shaking her head.

"Damn.. I really need a drink.." Her hand opened and she shook her head.

Honestly, she didn't give a damn about anyones sob stories. She had her own and managed to repress it well enough. Too bad if anyone couldn't do the same. She closed her eyes and reviewed similar cases back to the beginning and reopened them.

"Have any favorite things you like to do?" She asked, seemingly out of nowhere.

Kizaru awoke in a cabin, he was pretty sure of how he got here atleast. He quickly got up and out the bed. He searched the house in an instant checking everything. He wasn't hungry so he didn't touch any of the canned food. He proceeded to search around outside. He happened upon a mailbox that apparently had mail in it based on the way the marker was turned. He opened the mailbox and took a look inside.

Kizaru found a letter inside the mailbox. It had some glitter and crayon over the envelope, as if a child had done it. There was no stamp on it. Kizaru opened it to find this letter:

jack.jpg

Behind the letter, there was a few coordinates written down.

Your current position = Lat: 63° 56' 42.4356"; Long: -150° 20' 10.4172"

Irene's position = Lat: 63° 41' 36.8874"; -150° 43' 41.8872"

Hitman position = Up to you to find out.

Inside the mailbox, there was a black small device. Kizaru took it out and looked at it. It was a pocket GPS.

"This is kind of messed up." Kizaru said out loud. He typed in the coordinates into the gps. The best option is to move Irene but i'll be atleast half my speed since i'm not used to carrying someone. To make matters harder I have to pursue and capture the hitman. The gps beeped showing it knew which way to go. He faced that direction and then cloaked himself in light. "Not too many things faster than light!" Kizaru said. He dashed off at the speed of light to find Irene he at the location instantly and slowed down to check out the scene.

"Right you are. There's gotta be another player in the game." Adovate replied, shifting the gear as a car sped down the highway, swerving and the like. "Fucking drunkards." He swore, but kept his eyes on the road still. His gaze then looked up to the rearview mirror, seeing the other three new ones. "Who are you three?"

On the location that was indicated by the coordinates there was nothing but an empty shed. Kizaru could have gotten inside it if he wanted to, but in the horizon he managed to see a truck coming in the direction of the shed.

The truck was just a few miles away from the QART hideout. There was some sort of intense chat going on inside the truck. It looked like people had a lot to say about the death of Julie. Arthur didn't expected the subject to come out with so many points of view. He was embarassed to know how everyone was pissed about her death. It was QART responsibility to find out the murderer and they still hadn't came up with anything. "Well, guess now we can only wonder about why she died. Tell you what, maybe it wasn't even something really related to the riots or anything like it. Maybe it was just a passional crime and everyone's making a mess of it". The truck slightly bumped.
Important!

*dramatically turns chair around*

Y'all know that I've been having a hard time keeping up with this RP. I'm having a lot of issues to deal with my life now but I like this RP too much to just stop it. To keep going with it, I would need one or more sub-GM, but I kinda hate spoiling people, although I will do it if it's only option... Or we could also (here's where it gets interesting) make this a forum RP! Think about it, there would be a tab for Wonderland, a tab for the Mirror and a tab for the main sideless group (you guys). With those small coordinates I would give the story would pratically drive itself nearly GMless. Of course, we would have to get new people to play the guys on Wonderland and the Mirror so I wouldn't have to control this massive ammount of NPCs, but I believe it's worth a shot. I'll be trying it these days and if I get enough characters for those stuff, we're totally moving to a forum based system. For the time being, we'll keep things the way they are.

Iren turned her attemlntion to the window, eyes clouded with thought. She felt a bit taken out of her anger at what Arthur said, as she understood why. Shes been chasing similar cases for years. Knew this wasnt an isolated event. Still she understood being at such a loss. Advocacy for the QART, and needing to set a scene where they have at least some control in peace.

"I suppose maybe youre right."

Kizaru quickly search the shed to find it was empty, that only left one reasonable option. The target is in that truck. Kizaru cloaked in darted over to the horizon and on in front of the truck. He created a blade of light and quickly darted around the truck slashing all it's tires in half including the metal they were attached to. Now instantly back in front of the truck, "I'm looking for Irene." Kizaru explained. Not the best way to do thisbut there's no time for calm.
