Nika's memory was not involving romantic love, but more of a familial love between a previous Nike and Ares. They partnered together to cause hijinks in the school, win impossible battles, and do some of the dumbest things that could be done. They stuck together through thick and thin, and it took a while for the significance of the two's simple relationship to dawn on her, impressing upon her the importance of close friends that could have your back.

Nika left her pod, got a bit of the laurels tattoo on her arm filled by Rae, and walked around for a bit looking for Tera. After a few minutes of asking multiple people when her eyes failed her, the bits and pieces that she gathered said 'pretty angry looking' 'stormed off into the woods thadda way'. And, through impressive luck (not really, it's kinda hard to miss a lake river thing) she eventually managed to spot Tera on a little island in the middle of the mass of water - hopelessly lost with no idea of how to get back, but she found Tera! She took off her jacket and left her phone on top before diving into the water, swimming swiftly with the bit of practice she got spending time with the swimming club. When she reached the island and got out of the water she gave herself a big grand shake, a wide smile on her face. "Tera! I gotta tell you about something awesome!" She didn't bring up how her friend was said to be miserable, or why Tera was on this random island, just skipping straight to what she wanted to talk about.

Ari smiled, his pearly whites sparkling, ready to get slapped with sugary coffee. "That's right. I guess we should go do that. I wish we could go out to the city without losing our memory. Maybe we could go grab some cafeteria coffee and just go to my room." He said, not realizing how dirty it sounded. He goes over to the coffee area. He poured some coffee into a styrofoam cup, the pitch black coffee giving off a strong smell. He poured some of the chocolate mocha creamer into the black coffee, and then a load of sugar in afterwards. He grabs a coffee stirrer, stirring it softly and quickly. He then put a lid on it, taking a quick drink. The burning hot liquid touched his mouth, and he didn't react. He was used to this. Coffee was always his thing.

Serenity smiled. "Yes." She cared not to share her mortal name, for she let go of most of her mortal side long ago. "Yes, I am. So tell me. What is your center? The fire that fuels your very soul?" She asked. Hers was family. Some had fun as their center. (Think of RotG) She flicked her fingers, a flame dancing around her finger. Nico Nico

Tera was only starting her meditation, when she heard the voice of Nika. She didn't open her eyes, she was to deep in her meditation to worry about that. "Nika I know that you need to talk, but now isn't really the best time to talk... Let's just say I am not in the greatest mood right now." SHe said before realizing who she was talking to. Nika would talk no mater what. She sighed, opened her eyes, which were blood red from the tears she was crying earlier. "Alright Nika, what is it?" She said bluntly.

"Hmmm..." NIka sat down criss-cross-applesauce right beside Tera, still dripping wet from her swim with her clothes annoyingly drenched and heavy. "Well, y'know how we could if we wanted go and take that extracurricular test for emotions and I went and took it? Well in my memory thing I saw something really awesome, a past Ares and Nike teaming up to beat the crap out of all these big name monsters and even a titan. It was really awesome, they were all like 'wham wham!' with their strikes making huge thunder sounds and they had each other's backs, and I was just wondering if and when you think we're gonna be that cool. I mean, they simultaneously punched a titan in the face!" She looked over to Tera, still with a huge grin on her face. "That's what we're here to do right? Become super ultra badasses of legend?"

Dak Dak

Tera smiled at how Nika could talk about anything. She even laughed when Nika ended speaking. "I swear I'm not laughing at you..." She said before letting out her last laugh. "I need a good laugh." She said running her hand through her hair. "Yeah that's the idea, both of us be super badass legends." She said with a chuckle. "Did you come all this way to just tell me that, hm?" She asked, wondering why she had come all this way to tell her something that she could have waited to tell her when she came back.
That Lass Over There That Lass Over There

"Actually, yeah, I did come all this way to tell you about that, cuz it was cool." Nika looked at Tera with her head tilted, as if asking 'is that so strange?' Then she leaned back, lying on the grass. "Besides, I was kinda bored there, and it feels kinda hard to speak to a lot of these kids on a personal level. Crystal apparently ran off somewhere in just as much of a fuss as you, and Lena was locked in her dorm room. I think. Possibly. She wasn't really responding." Nika looked over at Tera, giving a laugh of her own. "You know, a bit of advice from someone that was raised in asia, meditation isn't some miracle cure. It just kinda leaves you time to mull over your flaws and wrongdoings, and that just sucks. I prefer just doing other things until I can finally figure out how to fix those mistakes, or at least not repeat them."

"My mother was a yoga instructor. We would do this once a day till my father left. Before I got angry. I find it helps me calm down my enragement enough to where I can think." She said laying back across from Nika. "We're friends right?" She asked wondering what Nika would say. They were roommates so they had to be at least nice to each other. But were they more then that? Tera looked up at the sky. "I've always wondered what it would be like to be a cloud..."
That Lass Over There That Lass Over There

"Hmmm... Well, I guess there are strange people like you in the world." Nika said this, but in her own Nika way that made it feel more like a compliment than the insult it would normally be taken as. "I think we're friends. But that's a pretty distorted term in the social atmosphere of Japan, so it might be best not to go on my opinions." Nika watched the clouds with Tera, pointing out all the clouds that looked like food or animals. "Personally, I think being a cloud might be a little sad. Clouds are free roaming, but they're solitary, and their life cycles are often short. They go out crying too, which is the worst. Smiles are the best way to end something."

Tera smiled as Nika talked. She always looked at everything from the Brightside. Tera sat up and looked at Nika. "You wanna head back, I wouldn't mind hitting the gym twice today... Plus I need to do something." She said standing up and offering a hand to Nika is she needed it. She could go back to the gym and try and enjoy some time releasing some stress one of the best ways she knew how. Plus Maybe she should try and explain everything to Lena. Tho, would she listen was the question. Maybe she should try and let her have some time to herself.
That Lass Over There That Lass Over There

"Yeah, well, about heading back..." Nika laughed, knowing how ridiculous she was as she took the offered hand to stand up. "I don't actually know how to get back to the academy. You wouldn't happen to be good with directions, would you?" Nika was, honestly, glad that she could seemingly help her friend through a tough time. She wondered if Crystal or Lena needed the same, but quickly waived it off, deciding that she had already spent her time on her dorm partner and she didn't regret it. I wonder if dinner has already started, or maybe even finished? "Hey, I'll race you to the shore!" Nika ran and dived into the water, getting a head start.

Dak Dak

Tera watched as Nika had jumped in the water. The competitive nature that Tera had instantly took over and she jumped into the water with perfect form. She swam as fast as she could to get back before Nika. It wasn't enough and Nika had taken the race with at least a couple seconds before Tera got to the shore. "Good race." She said breathing heavily. "I think school is to the east of us. If we head that way then we should see the school in no time."She said catching her breath. "You coming?" She asked.
That Lass Over There That Lass Over There

Nika took a just a moment to stabilize her breathing before picking up her jacket and phone, wrapping the jacket around her body that would no doubt be feeling cold in the next few minutes. "Yeah, you did great. I seriously need to step up my game, it's only been a few months and I'm so slow even with the enhanced capabilities I got." She looked up at the sun, then back down at Tera. "I'm counting on you here, I'm really bad with this stuff. If you say it's east, it's east." She ran up to be right beside Tera, already starting to shiver a little. "I'm gonna need a change of clothes..."

Dak Dak

Tera smiled when Nika was close to her. "I'm pretty sure it's east. I'm normally not bad when it comes to directions." She said as she started heading East. It took them a while but the school had come into view. Tera had walked towards their dorms and grabbed some clothes. Maybe she wouldn't go to the gym today. Maybe she would be a little lazy and relax for a little.

She took her shower and changed into the sweats that she was wearing when she normally went to bed. It wasn't really bed time, but she wore them cause they were comfy. She grabbed moosey and laid back in bed. "I don't really feel like going out or anything right now... I think I wanna sit back and relax, maybe watch some youtube or something on hulu, you wanna join?" She asked Nika.

Nika was in simple jeans and a white t-shirt, having felt like it was a little too early to put on her pajamas when she was changing from her drenched clothing. "There's this show I really like, I don't know if hulu would have it though. It's called 'DanMachi', and it's this really nice show about a boy who wants to be a hero in a world that's gone a bit cynical due to the presence of monsters in labyrinths and the wild posing a constant threat." She happily talked about one of her favorite anime, wondering if Tera knew about it. "Season two is supposed to air soon, so I wanted to do a rewatch." She looked at her phone and made sure that they had time for a few episodes before dinner, and they did. "Do you want to watch it? Ah, it might not show up under DanMachi since that's the japanese nickname."

Dak Dak

There was anime again. Tera chuckled a little. "I'm down for anything... But what would it be called that's the thing?" She said trying to find it on Hulu. She spent a couple minutes looking, but couldn't find it. She looked it up on a new tab. She went back to hulu and looked it up. Low and behold it was there. She unplugged her headphones and patted the spot right next to her. "I think I found it. Care to join?" She asked as she scooted over.
That Lass Over There That Lass Over There

"Yeah, course I want to watch." Nika said that with a 'duh' and sat beside Tera, looking with a smile on her face as the small intro played explaining how it was a world where gods who had sealed their powers came to live with the ever changing and struggling mortal races they called their children. "Having the english sub on anime is so weird... It's hard to read the words fast enough, and they're kind of inaccurate." She put her thumb up to her mouth as she watched, biting on the nail as she got engrossed in the story with starry eyes.

When the pheromones woke up Gideon it awoke his passion alright. His passion for BUILDING. Instead of heading to the class Gideon started looking for a teacher. He needed to find a suitable place for his Imperius. With Blueprints in hand he started walking around campus aimlessly looking for a suitable place.

Tera looked at Nika. "Then would you like to translate for me?" She asked with a smile on her face. If Nika saw anything wrong then she could just say so and correct whatever is wrong. "I'm gonna be honest, I haven't really watched a lot of anime, if any at all. So this is like my first actual intro into Anime." Tera said as she hit play.
That Lass Over There That Lass Over There

"Yeah, I could translate anything that's badly wrong." Nika knew that a lot of the inaccurate translations were done purposefully to make the phrases make more sense, so she didn't correct everything, but there were a few mistranslations that irked her so much that she had to blurt out the correct translation and why it was a bad thing to leave incorrect. They got through a few episodes quickly, but they finally hit the pause button after episode four. "So, what did you think? I really like this stuff, it was fun to grow up watching every night."

Dak Dak

Tera looked at Nika as soon as she hit the pause."Why'd you pause it... I was interested...." She was now laying on her right side facing Nika She was entertained in anime, and wanted to watch more. "I like it! Don't tell me that their is only a few animes out there though. I really wanna watch more." She said laying he head down on her pillow. "Can we watch more?" She asked a little cutesy, almost like a child who was told to go to bed but wanted to watch one more episode.

Rae and Hestia were standing side by side, outside on a large field. The field had two sides, almost perfectly symmetrical. Down the middle of the field was a deep treacherous river, swimming with vicious sea creatures and salty water, a gift from Poseidon himself. On the left side of the river was the blue team's side. Most of it consisted of a deep forest, filled with deer, squirrels, and birds, who watch everything. A gift from Artemis herself. Past the forest is a large clearing, with 2 foot tall grass and venomous snakes. This wasn't a gift, it was natural. And then there is a mountain like area (snow and ice included), blue flags everywhere, but one special blue flag, which is fluttering above the teams Hearth. On the flag is a Possum. There are chests of materials for building defenses, traps, or buildings. On the other side of the field is the red team. The forest and the field were the same, mostly, but where there would be a mountain area, is a small volcano. The lava bubbled a dark red, and the flags almost begged to be alight. The red team's flag was in the dead center of the volcano, a lion printed upon it, the hearth burning brighter. The building materials were the same, and the wood was blessed to not be set alight.

The field was very dangerous, a mortal wouldn't last an hour. Hestia didn't agree with their plan, but nevertheless she understood. She had to go through similar things in her past. She helped with the Hearths, and has blessed all of the students to be teleported back to their hearth, were they to be hit with a fatal blow. Rae helped with the potion pool at each base. Each pool is made so only it's team can use it, and the potion can be drank from to restore their health and stamina. They have to drink some before leaving the base area. Rae snapped his fingers, all of the students being portalled in without their consent. "I apologize for this intrusion. But since the rest of the day is free, we have decided to prepare an activity for you. Some of you will be excited." He said, nodding to the fellow Ares and Nike children. "And some of you will be nervous." He said, without nodding to anyone. "We will be playing capture the flag. We have divided you into two teams randomly, I hope you can work together. Hestia, take it away."

Hestia stepped forward. "Hello, everybody." She said, meeting all of their eyes, her calming area warming them up and soothing them. "I understand I am a little late to the party. I didn't intend for that to happen. I had some... Business. To attend to, anyways. I will be explaining the rules to you guys, and the penalties for breaking them." He said, smiling. "First rule, which doesn't take any effort on your part. Any fatal blows or hits will not kill anyone, they will just send the victim back to their teams Hearth. Second rule, which also takes no effort. You fight..." She began to say mournfully. "To the death. While it will not kill anyone, this is battle." She cleared her throat. "Next off, travel must be fair. There will be no teleportation or anything of that sort. I trust you all to follow that. Am I correct?" She asked, her eyes sneaking over to the Janus kid. She didn't wait for an answer. "Next off, no fighting your teammates. This is a team warm up for what is to come. You must all be able to work together to defeat your opponent. It's how all generations of the gods had to do it, and that is how you will do it." She shrugged. "Another thing, your teams each have a potion pool. Any spiking," she said with her eyes meeting the Dionysus kid's eyes, "or defilement of the pool can have you penalized. You know, I trust you can be fair. If I have forgotten anything, ask me." She said. "And about the penalties. Any breaking of a rule will get you automatically eliminated. Do not think we are not watching. We see everything. You will have a few minutes to ask questions, 10 minutes to come up with a strategy, 30 minutes for prep and building, and however long it takes to end the battle. Basic idea is to defend the flag, and steal the other opponents flag. When you bring the flag back to base, you must set it alight in the hearth of your team, and victory will be announced. Prizes are not going to be released until after the battle." Rae waved his hand, and red and blue shirts appeared on everyone's appropriate torso. "Any questions?" She asked, looking around. [Please reask all questions I answered in OOC for the sake of it.]

Gideon walked around aimlessly searching only suddenly find himself with everyone else in the middle of a massive area apparently all for the purpose of capture the flag. A fire ignited in Gideon’s eyes and he began to heat up in anticipation and glee. This is what he lived for! Crafting defenses, traps and weapons. Even as Hestia and Rae explained the rules he was plotting out his defenses. First and foremost he needed to get mounted turrets to guard the flag. It would be best if they were automated, but he would just have to wing it. From there he would lay out land mines or rather hand them out to surround their encampment. Gideon knee he wouldn’t be venturing from the flag so even after the 30 min prep he would be constantly building and improving. Gideon remained silent as he wanted to begin as quickly as possible.

Briana was catching up on some headmistress paperwork. In between, she would shoot ninja stars at a dartboard. She had agreed for Hestia and Rae to create a fun event slightly away from the school so she could get some peace and quiet. She looked out the window to see the event had started, she sighed, and found herself going out there to check up on how it's going before going back to work. She stood next to Rae with her arms crossed and nodded at the other teachers.

Zoe was busy working on a potion with C3P1 that she was excited to show Sherri when suddenly she was transported to this field surrounded by all her classmates. She groaned. I was looking for an ACTUAL free day to work on some potions and spend time with Sherri. Not for ANOTHER test. When she saw Sherri she ran over to her. Then, she saw Gideon and waved at him excitedly. That's when she noticed that everyone was wearing one of two shirts, red or blue. Sherri and Gideon were both wearing blue. She looked down and saw she was wearing blue too. Then, she heard Hestia explain that they were going to play capture the flag. She raised an eyebrow and whispered to Sherri "The other team is so screwed." She gave a thubs up to Gideon extremely happy they were on his side. They were about to build some SERIOUS turrets and robots.

Nika giggled at Tera being childish, reaching over to unpause it. "Yeah, we can watch a little more, I was just messing with you." Before she could unpause it though, they both got teleported, and Nika's white t-shirt got replaced with a red one. She looked over at Tera, noticing she was wearing a blue shirt. "Well, I guess we'll have to wait to watch more. Ready to be enemies? I'll kick your butt!" She held out her fist for a bump, grinning like an idiot while her claws teleported to the ground in front of her.

Dak Dak Everyone Everyone else I guess since everyone is here.

Crystal looked around, a bit disoriented since she went from sitting on a park bench to standing with a crowd in a field. She almost failed to catch her scythe that appeared in front of her, and she looked down at the red shirt she had on. I guess this puts me on blood team. She looked around and saw Lena with a red shirt on, and she walked to her so that they could stick together. "Hey Lena, ready to kick some ass?"

Duke of Doge Duke of Doge

Sherri looked at Gideon, Zoe, and herself, putting on the largest grin when she realized they were all on blue. "Yeah, they're definitely going down. I just got finished learning a few crowd control spells and modifying the firebolt spell, so this is going to be an excellent test." Normally she'd be pretty upset that she was pulled into a kind of social event without warning in the middle of trying out theories and tricks, but she'd never deny the opportunity for field testing and prizes. She quickly stuffed the notepad into her jacket's pocket, realizing that it had a few of the spells she was working on on it. "I think I'll be really good at pulling them around and mass eliminations. So I guess I should stay defensive?"

Tera was laying in bed when Whoosh. She was transported in the middle of the group. It was weird because it also changed her into her normal clothes and not the sweats that she was wearing before they transported. She heard the teachers talk and her eyes lit up. She was finally able to fight. She looked down to see she had a blue shirt on. Her favorite color, it was a calming shirt that would hopefully help with her rage/ She looked at Ares and bowed her head to Ares. It was a small gesture, but it meant a lot to warriors. She was going to make the goddess of war proud in her abilities that day. She won't quit, to tire. She will fight till the end. She looked over at Nika who was in red. She gave her a fist bump."You can try, but I never lose... Don't die, cause I wanna fight you more then anyone."

Camron was sitting in the workshop.Crafting up a new device when he was whooshed away to the field. As soon as he heard Capture the flag his mind raced with ideas. He saw the river and his mind instantly drew up plans for a bridge. He was wearing a red shit. He noticed the other Hepheastus was wearing a blue shirt. "Looks like I'm building alone...." He thought looking at all the red shirts. L
