Anders hadn’t intended on striking any kind of nerve, though the interaction seemed to take a few sudden turns with the newest arrival splitting off just as quickly as he’d come. Perhaps sensing the tension inadvertently caused by the tall redhead.
He wouldn’t dwell, perhaps they would cross paths again and be able to have a different conversation.
Hearing the word Fae had peaked his interest, although he wasn’t sure how polite it would be to ask for a deeper explanation about his ancestry.
With the only buffer to an inevitable question quickly walking away, Anders was treated to sitting between two men he’d been involved with that summer. The absolute fog Klaus had caused was clearing now that Oscar had joined them, giving Anders enough room to both think and truly enjoy the depth of his misfortune.
He was given ample opportunity to get his thoughts together once Oscar had explained who his Godly parent was. Odin? Anders wasn’t quite familiar with the Norse realm, something he quickly made a note to read about.
“Apollo” Anders said, pleasantly before Klaus’ next comment made him literally wince with mild shame. At least someone had addressed the elephant in the room, Anders’ inability to keep it in his pants. He finally let loose a short laugh after a few awkward moments and shook his head quickly, as though doing his best to keep memories at bay.
“I’m passionate” He teased, despite wanting to curl up and die from his own shame. It was obvious he wasn't quite used to these situations, his regular confidence taking a back seat to the overwhelming coincidence he was being faced with.
