I'm thinking we are just not used to having posting order out of combat, letting anyone post as they need to for their characters. But it is your set-up, and we'll follow your rules.

I personally think that out-of-combat, things might go faster if we post in the order of when we're available, rather than waiting until someone else posts; that said I'm perfectly fine with sticking with the current system.

I agree, especially if a couple of characters are involved in a conversation with one another. Being able to post as needed might work a bit better. Just a suggestion.

To add my voice to that of Sherwood and myrkwse, I think that in a non-combat setting, we should be free to post as we wish instead of being stuck to a post order. Once we get in combat, that obviously changes to go with the standard initiative order.
