Realistic or Modern "Gifted"

Sickened by the blatant crime, Ramis turned his head from the girl. He was more in awe he had given her more than a one word response to anything. He then pulled out a small knife. Tured towards the criminal, walking inconspicuously away from the atrocity she had just preformed. He mad about an inch incision on his palm. The pain made his magic react. He pointed his hand and though he was far away, his aim was dead on. the sound of a gunshot rang as his blast shot from his fingertips, knocking the girls feet from under her and causing her to plummet to the ground, the stolen money flying like confetti . He turned. vengeance wad the most satisfactory one can feel.

She gasped as she began her free fall. She saw the coffee shop guy walking away and she frowned. It was on. Quickly she closed her hands together in a quick clap and a single giant skeleton of a bird flew from a crack in the pavement and caught her. She smirked as she was set on the ground back in the alley way. She pinched her arms to cause some pain and using that she rose a large group of the undead and sent them towards the man.

Ramis smirked. The undead that stumbled towards him were no match for the crushing force he summoned, using a stab in the shoulder to pay tithe. "A necromancer. " He thought contently. "How intriguing. did I just use intriguing to describe a person? I need coffee" he continued on, not wishing to sacrifice his flesh further.

As he walked away she sent the hoard back to where they had come from. Sheepishly she walked into shadows to help her get away with less chance of being seen, she could get more money later. Why did I put on that whole spectical. Stupid, stupid, stupid!

Feather smiled at the guy. "Sure I do.." She snapped before turning into her silver wolf form. She growled as the cops came up on the other roof and lashed her tail. She growled. "I'll take care of them.." She hissed. Feather didn't give him any time to respond, but bounded over the wide gap, knocking the cops off their feet. She turned into her human form and threw her knee up in a guys face. She nodded to Keith and saluted. "Get out of here mate.." She called before continuing to beat the cops. @park

Ramis went home. He breathed heavily. "What was I thinking? " he whispered. Using his magic in public made him no better than the ruffians that bore the same affliction as he. Then again, they had it easy. They didn't heat the call of the demon inside, caressing, tricking, constantly soothsaying Him. He lit the candelabras at his shrine . He breathed in the calm incense and released the tension in his body. "Come to negotiate? Or give in?" He heard the voices chillingly low tone. " merely to grant you the satisfaction of meeting me once again" he said aloud. No one was in his studio apartment, he wasn't afraid of anyone hearing him supress his demons, literally. " you know, I'm starting to doubt you are even a threat" The voice chuckled. The wave of pain that ensued was relentless. his back contorted, sending him howling in agony. He felt the tear of flesh as two silken black wings shot from his back. He screamed, but the voice was always somehow louder," Remember who is in control before you mouth at me, child." I won't let you win. He fought with all of his willpower, and slowly, surely, the wings receded. His flesh stitched itself back together, but the pain was still very present. He fell from his knees to his right side, where he lay. For a long time he sat there, reassessing what he harbored within, and what he could possibly do to remedy the deep set helplessness that followed.
