Fantasy Ghosts Of The World

Jay glances over at the other ghost who has come to invade his space. Yet again. Freeloading ghosts.

At least he died in this apartment building, he couldn't say the same for Wavy Rodgers over there.

Rolling his eyes, he moved to a chair kicking it open and taking a seat. Placing his feet on the table with a loud thunk.

"No, actually. I don't."

His voice echoed in the room; baritone, annoyed, and utterly unenthusiastic.

He made sure he was still unseen though. Jay hated being the life of the party now that he was 6 feet under.

"This is pathetic." Emi rolled her eyes, "Can't you two go hang out and be dead together? I don't want to spend time with a pair of loser ghosts." Seriously, what a pair of losers. They weren't even haunting her, they were just hanging around. They were nothing like the ghosts Emi had read about.

Jay laughed humorlessly, suddenly standing and swiftly moving in front of the girl. He glared at her from under his mask, finding her to be just as annoying.

"Oh yes, I'm the jerk and the loser."

Jay tilted his head to the side looking at this spunky visitor.

"But guess what, Princess. I'm haunting this apartment. Not you. If you want me to be a big bad ghost I will be. Otherwise, don't provoke me."

He mused, a grin spreading across his lips from under his mask before he moved back to the other kid and hit him upside the head for calling him a jerk. Which was pretty accurate at this point.

Haiko winced and rubs his head, "Don't be such an idiot!" He says as he flies off through the wall.

"Haunt whatever the hell you like. You can haunt the curtains for all I care, asshole." Emi said, "Just do it properly. I don't know, write on the walls in blood or something. Or drown somebody in the bathtub. Sacrifice me to satan. Do some proper haunting. Because I'm not putting up with a ghost that doesn't even kill people." She glared the ghost in front of her.

Jay turned, grinding his teeth floating quickly to her other side. Suddenly making himself apparent, he grabbed her chin forcing her to look at his mask.

"I've been dead a long time, sweetheart. Death doesn't work like that. But, trust me if you aggravate me any more I will make your life hell."

He stated, letting his dark brown eyes glare into her. Jay couldn't believe how humans always expected the worst from the dead. He was thankfully not a demon, hence he would have no reason to kill anyone. Besides he was quite sure a ghost couldn't take the soul of the living without some sort of consequence. Disappearing once again, he moved back towards where the bedroom was figuring that he'd rummage around just because she had pissed him off.

"Boo hoo. I'm terrified." Emi rolled her eyes. She thought that she liked ghosts but right now, she was just annoyed by them. Maybe she should move, she could get a vampire in her next apartment. That would be so much cooler.

Scoffing, Jace moved into her room. Flopping down on her bed plotting ways to get back at the annoy little girl. Pulling himself into a sitting position, he moved to her dresser pulling out the first drawer. Socks. Boring.

The second drawer had him smirking, pulling out a lacy blue bra in amusement. Pulling the entire drawer out, he carried it into the living room not caring if she saw him lugging a drawer full of her unmentionables.

Whistling to himself, he opened a window looking back at the girl to see exactly what she would do. If this didn't prove his point then he guessed he would just have to haunt her instead of the house until she acknowledged that ghosts were pests but deserved respect. Tipping the drawer further out the open window he found himself grinning even wider.

"Put it back." Emi sighed, not looking up from her laptop, "You disgusting little freak." She shook her head in disgust, "What the hell is wrong with you?" She knew what was wrong with him. He was a boy and boys were idiots. Perverted, moronic, ugly idiots.

"Is that like the first time you've touched a bra or something?" Emi raised an eyebrow, "Don't look so excited."

The grin slipped off his face, letting the drawer go. He looked down at himself confused with how she could see him sense he knew he wasn't purposely making himself seen. Ignoring the crash and the sound of a cat screeching, Jay strolled over to the fridge opening it only to find nothing note worthy. Rolling his eyes, he shut her laptop on the way back to her room. He was going to make his point. He was not one to be messed with. Yanking the sheets off the bed, he placed them over his head. Aware that he looked like a total idiot with a bunch of sheets outlining his head but he seriously didn't care. Moving back to the kitchen he grabbed a bottle of ketchup, starting to get bored with his own lame pranks he dumped the ketchup bottle on the sheets making it ironically look like the sheet was bleeding.

Emi put her laptop aside and went over to the window. Well, damn. Looked like she was going to need some new underwear now. It kinda sucked that she'd actually have to go outside and buy things, but it was nothing that couldn't be solved by the internet! She'd do some online shopping later. She slid the window closed.

"Damn ghosts." she muttered.

Haiko floats back over into Emi's room, he thought he heard a crash.

Walking into her bedroom quietly laying the sheets back out on her bed, drenched in what appeared to be blood. He glanced over at Haiko, giving the kid a smirk before moving into the living room and plopping himself down on the couch turning on the TV and randomly flipping through channels.

"I hope you're planning to pay a share of the rent." Emi said. She collapsed on the other side of the couch and avoided looking at the ghost. He was so annoying. And she was going to have to put up with him. For potentially the rest of her life. How great is that? Haha, no.

Haiko glares at Jace, he was always a big meanie, Haiko flies over to Emi, "Sorry about Jace." Haiko was a jokester, but he never liked Jace.

Jay glared over at the other kid.

"It's Jay. Don't call me Jace."

He grumbled not liking the sound of his full name. Looking back to the TV he glared at the girl.

"This was my home first. I don't need to pay rent, twerp."

He stated finding a channel that he liked and stopping at it.

"If this is your house." Emi said, "That means you should pay rent and I shouldn't. Seeing as it belongs to you not me, you should pay for it." She raised an eyebrow, "Think before you talk, Jace." She was soooooo calling him Jace. Anything that annoyed him, she was up for it.

Haiko floats above her, still upside down, he then touches the top of her head, "Boop." He murmurs.

His eye twitched under his mask. Sending a glare at the kid for even bringing up his name.

"Oh yes, how about I just stroll on down to the landlord and scare the crap out of him."

He stated dryly.

"Hey Uncle, your nephew isn't really all that dead and I'm here for the monthly rent."

He growled under his breath, standing and walking off. He gave a glance to Haiko before disappearing.

Emi frowned, trying to put two and two together. Uncle... Hmmm... Well, she didn't really know who Jace was. There was a lot she didn't know about him. Like his last name. And how he died. She put it aside and looked up at the other ghost boy.

"What's your name and what's his problem?" Emi asked.

Haiko floats onto the couch, "He's really annoying sometimes." Haiko chuckles.
"I'm Haiko." Haiko tries to get comfortable on the couch but just ends up rearranging a bunch of times.

"Hi Haiko. I'm Emi." she said and she held out her hand. Wait, could he even shake her hand? Probably not judging by what she read. She withdrew her hand and just smiled instead.
