Technically, yes, because the errata says so. This is dumb and should be ignored.DasDom said:"Exalted counts ghosts as spirits"? Does this mean they can learn spirit charms? Excellencies etc.?
He is probably a Heckatonkire, not a normal ghost, and so plays by different rules. Loras, the Death Sun, the Heckatonkire from the Black Treatise, has quite a few Solar Charms and wields an orichalcum grand daiklave.DasDom said:BTW: Why has the "THE EMISSARY OF RIGHTEOUS VICTORY" from the Underworld book abbyssal charms? Is he a special case or can all specters learn abbyssal charms?
The only way anyone is supposed to be able to learn Sidereal styles is from a Sidereal tutor, which a ghost is not. With the exception of Solar akuma, who can learn Sidereal styles from non-Sidereal tutors.Quchu said:This reminds me--would the ghost of an elder Sidereal be able to teach Sidereal Martial Arts, even if they cannot use the Charms themselves? I was thinking about writing up a "lost" style only taught by an once-Sidereal spectre and might as well see if the idea is canonically sound.

Huh. How the book puts it sounds really arbitrary. Kind of odd how I've missed this kind of jarring information for so long. o_o
