An evil cult leader and devout follower of Gozer the Gozerian is trying to resurrect the Apocalyptic god, which is bringing evil spirits from the underworld into our realm. It's up to the multiple branches of the newly established Ghostbusters Inc. (built thirty five years after the original Ghostbusters saved the world from Gozer) which has teams of young and old Ghostbusters strewn across the country to meet up in New York where it all began and save the world from this new threat. Just don't cross the streams...

Lori sat in her office alone in the building looking through old accounts of cults and Gozer attacks. She had hoped that the email she sent out to all the heads of the different branches she sent out a couple weeks ago had gotten to everyone and the other Ghostbusters from across the country were soon to arrive. She looked up from her desk and walked outside into the main area where pictures of Egon Spengler, Winston Zeddemore, Ray Stantz, and Peter Venkman hung on the wall. next to it was a framed newspaper reading "Ghostbusters sacrifice themselves to save the world." And Lori started to feel dread knowing that she was about to face what killed the original four. But she felt a glimmer of hope because she knew that with the help of all the different Ghostbusters scattered across the country they could take down any threat opposing the world.
