Gentlemen.

...Ah, I remember a writer commenting on the possibility of a rewrite some months ago. It's very good to hear that the plans have gotten somewhere.

Although I don't know Dreams of the First Age too well, myself. But I hear that the Solar Charms are pretty bad... so I'm hoping for something usable in the revision.

Sweet.

... God I love the new digital direction WW is going with. Now if they included som sort of update-functionality, so you could download revised versions of their books and I will be throwing money at them.

Um, you can do that. They haven't done it too much, but when they did the reprint of the 2e core (as lame as it was) the pdf was updated for free. They did it with a couple other minor things too, but they can.

Sadly, the update to the core 2E book was worse than the original in some ways (particularly in the bookmarking).

This is especially annoying since InDesign will actually create the bookmarks for you automatically, if you use it correctly.

Yeah, that is exactly why I don't use that particular version of the pdf.

I know it wasn't the best example of what you can do with that ability to revise, but they can do it.

Oh. Okay, then I revise my statement:

"When they learn how to use the available tools to properly add updates to their products, I'll be throwing money at them"

...
