Could start off with personal information but I only want to be known by the content I produce more than any other factors which may form some kind of bias. Maybe to anyone interested enough - feel free to ask me and I'll be an open book. Primarily decided to join out of boredom and hoped it would give me a convenient way to improve my writing skills with other people. On a side-note, can't believe it's already a new year. (Vote for Bernie Sanders? Political propaganda probably won't be considered spamming, right? After all, I'm just a small-town girl... No, we leave politics out of our discussions. This isn't a site for political ideology, discussions, or really anything that's going to get a heated debate going. Also, discussing American politics is a exlusionary as there are a great number of users here who are not American and probably get fed more information about American politics than they really care to know. I don't care who you'd vote for if you could vote, because that has nothing to do with RPing. So, if you want to have a discussion with people about the best pokemon, then that's relevant. American politics- not so much.

Now then, I know that you have to answers that you're wanting answered now and the first is, you can join any RP that is open. You can find the different RP genres here: Roleplays | RpNation.com - Best Roleplay Forum


They're set up by genre so if you're looking for that Belgariad fandom RP (sorry, none yet exists here) then you'll know you aren't going to be looking in the futuristic genre. Each genre has an interest check at the top of the page and you can peruse this to see if anyone is wanting to create an RP.


If you are trolling the RPs and you just gotta make your own futuristic version of the Elenium, then you can pick the genre (future or fandom? I don't know!) and create an interest check. In the interest check you can tell the whole world about your RP and what you want to do with it. If you get enough people to say Aye! then you create your RP.

(OuO) Um, let's see. Sometimes I volunteer, y' know. To make myself feel like a better person than I actually am but I don't admit that because of social casualties. Creating a compilation of all the rarest memes I can find. Unproductive existential crises about the "meaning" of absolute truth, hence my custom title. ( ) (>u>) ( ) But not many, if I have to be honest with you. I am fairly interested in psychology. I'm currently researching personality theory systems if you've heard of them (ie. MBTI, Enneagrams, Socionics). Pseudoscience, at the very best. I originally got into it because of a self-discovery phase but it led to the revelation that my main interest was probably uncovering motives behind humans, why that might be, and how we can use that knowledge to better the future. Y' know, all of that indie flowery hippie talk. I used to be into writing but just never had the motivation to continue and the social component RPG-ing has seemed like it would be a great way for me to get back into it.


@Xylin Right, right. I mean, not like I was planning on starting an RPG thread dedicated to interactions between the presidential candidates or anything, hahaha. *sweats anxiously* I'm joking. But not even a sliver of a mention in the General Discussion thread? () My heart breaks. Haha, nah, don't worry about it. I'll look into the links you provided to get a sense of what I might want to do RP-wise. Thanks! (^.^)
