"I thought you didn't want me lying though. If I said I wanted you, I would be lying. Maybe not in the coming days or weeks, but forcing me will ensure I would not want you ever," Em said, being a bit flirtatious towars the end.

Halciet obviously wasn't over his frustration of rejection, but the way Emmalia spoke and her proposition gave him a feeling of intrigue. "You are peculiar, and you will be mine. Eventually." He said, deciding to go with it, for now.

"Yes sir," she said, strategically using the polite term for the first time. She went back to her room and got into loose clothes for the night. She tied her hair back to keep it out if her face, and slowly traced the wounds on her cheek and neck. By cutting her hair and damaging her face, they were slowly taking away her outward expressions of herself.

The next night, a servant brought Emmalia's next dress to her, this one being much more vivacious than the last ones. This time, the banquet he set up was entirely human based.

Emmalia hesitated, but put on the dress. She realized that there was no use fighting. And she could smell the blood from there. She wanted it badly, even if her mind saymid no, everything else said yes. She wasn't even hungry, she had eaten so recently. Maybe if she went she could get a chance to kill Halciet. That was the justification she used to get close to the blood.

Halciet grinned when Emmalia entered. "Welcome back. I hope you don't mind but I took the liberty of using a human based diet for this meal. By the way you're eying it I'd say you don't mind at all."

Emmalia took her seat and said, "We don't have to eat more than once a week on a diet of human blood, so I don't think I'll be partaking." It would take a bit of willpower, but she was determinee.

"Emmalia, around here we enduldge as we please. I don't know what lies the outside world has been feeding you, but giving in isn't always such a bad thing. We enjoy all we want here, and now, you do too."

Emmalia actually thought on that for a minute. Why was having blood every day bad? If the person was killed, it started eating away at a vampire's humanity, but what if they weren't killed? Or in her case, not by her hand? Indulging would still probably not do well for her mental state, and if she had a bad mental state, she couldn't care for Cal. Whenever she got back to him,of course. "I do not wish to indulge," she finally said.

"Suit yourself. As you know though humans don't exactly taste good after preservation. Tomorrow we'll have a fresh body for you." Halciet said, hoping to tempt her not to waste her food.

Emmalia didn't care. The person before her had already been killed. The person tomorrow was set to be killed as well. She knew her actions wouldn't change that.

Halciet wouldn't let this ruin a good meal. He drank his blood quickly, making sure to make it look tempting for Emmalia. "I'm sure you'll learn to love it here as much as we all do. Once you understand the limitations that have been broken from society, you'll never be able to go back.

"That is the concern," Emmalia explained. "What hapoens if there's a shortage, but everyone is used to blood every night? You may have a problem then."

Emmalia shook her head, then said, "You really do have no humanity left. What will you do once your numbers grow too great for the village?"

"That won't be for a long time Emmalia, don't you worry. We can figure that out when we get there. For now, we can do as we please."

Emmalia didn't say anything. She was glad she knew of their future plans, though. In case she made it out alive, which she was starting to severely doubt.

Halciet remained quiet for a while, until suddenly reaching his hand across the table to Emmalia's. He made no comment of it though, feeling prideful enough to do as he pleased.

When the time for their date of sorts was finished, Halciet offered to guide Emmalia to her room. "I insist Lady Emmalia, and I promise it'll be no burden to me."
