Could I use my OC, Robert Ashton, the PKMN Ranger, for this RP? Really don't fell like making another original character, although, I could. 


Here's a link to it. 




Obviously, some details will have to be changed as it is meant for a different setting. But, I just wanna ask you how much needs to be changed.


There's also the fact of his Pokemon. In the other RP, I removed his Gyarados, Tyranitar and Magnezone in order to make him have more of a challenge. All he has on hand at the moment is a Pidgeot, a Stoutland and a Slowbro. 


So, how much should I change about Robert?

The Pokemon Rangers are not part of the RP, so his previous profession would simply be Pokemon Law Enforcement, possibly in the "Emergency Response Unit" or something along those lines.


Aside from that, so long as the profile conforms to the character sheet requirements on the RP's main page then you'll be okay. Let me know when you're finished working on it and I'll check it and see if everything is truly done. If it is, I'll give you the okay to post IC. If not, I'll let you know what adjustments still have to be made.

This is what kind of body type you have.


Endomorphs are generally stocky and easily gain muscle (but also easily become fat if they let themselves go). Think body builders. They are almost all endomorphs (when they aren't big due to steroids).


Ectomorph is the opposite of an Endomorph, and are very thin and have long limbs. Think DJ Qualls from Road Trip (Kyle).


Mesomorphs are in the middle. They are not thin, but they are not "big" or stocky either. They easily gain muscle definition instead of muscle mass, and find it harder to gain weight than an endomorph. This is the most common body type there is.
 
For those wondering where I got the information on Shinx, you can find more realistic information on Pokemon at this website, which is where most of the Pokedex info will be coming from. But if you're uncertain about any details regarding Pokemon you want, ask me before assuming that this site's info is accurate to the RP.

Sorry for the hold up I started classes again this week, but I'll put the finishing touches on soon.

I will momentarily be adding a Topic to the Role-Play Area Forum titled "Available Pokémon" which will detail all the Pokémon available for specific regions. In this case, the Ilex Forest is first on our list.


Each Pokémon on the list has a certain number of * signs next to it, from 1-10. 1 means it's very common, while 10 means it's ungodly rare and likely not a Pokémon to be encountered unless you make specific arrangements with me before hand. I will never allow any Pokémon with a rank between 8-10 to be found/caught without my permission.


Anyway, take a look at the list when it goes up in the next minute or two when you get the chance please! And if you think there should be a couple extra Pokémon on the list, let me know and I'll consider adding them. But remember, it's environment appropriate that's at the top of my criteria. If the Pokémon you want isn't a forest dweller, then it's sadly not going to be allowed to make the list no matter what.

EDIT: Also, one thing I forgot to mention to everyone is that Pokémon in this RP don't say their names. They make wild animal noises like barks, chirps, groans, grunts, roars, cries, etc.

Hey guys, this is a final call to see who among you are still interested in being involved with this RP. If you do not plan to be involved, please say so and I will remove your names from the member's list. If you want to be involved, I need to see a character submission from you by Wednesday at the latest or I will have no choice but to ask you to leave to spare the other active members who are now posting IC from having to wonder about waiting for you.

Lol. I'm not sure if it was intentional, but you just hit Tomoya right where he is most vulernable with Remington's little question at the end there. Since his father was an officer, he hates seeing other officers slacking off.


This will be an interesting conversation, I'm sure.
 
@ChoShadow sorry for doing this after hanging around all this time, but I think I'm going to bow out. I don't think I can post as frequently as everybody else - but more than that, my character's just one dude alone in Unova doing a basic trainer journey, which probably won't hold my interest very long.

Hi @Borkus Lazorus. Tomoya, Yume, and Victor all seem to be sleeping, so you're free to continue posting. Until/unless something big happens, there's not much for our characters to do. Lol.

I got my character sheet done here. 


For the time being I intend to search for Haru's sister involved with TR starting from Azalea Town (Slowpoke Well seems to be a popular watering spot for them unsavoury folks). I'm thinking Haru could initially run into TR, gets his ass whooped (almost costing him his life?), and gets saved by Bugsy the Gym Leader who was patrolling the area. That'd give him a good bearing on as to just how out of touch he is with the realistic scope of his goal (get his sister out of TR, ha) and put him on a path to become a stronger trainer. 


Since this involves use of a prominent NPC (Gym Leader) and Team Rocket, I wanted to tread carefully and check with Cho it's okay to go ahead with this initial plot. 


For a long term vision I'll take the most stereotypical "beat all the gyms in order and challenge the local league", albeit with much difficulty.
