All generals looked up as the doors opened. "Sir?" One of the generals turned to OCO General Moores.


"All troops and weapons are in position. Tell the admirals to get the ships ready for coastal bombardment. I want air craft in the air soon. But tell the air force to not send out fighters just yet."


"Sir, it looks like the enemy has sent an envoy." One of the generals said. "Send General Heins and a few men."


"Enemies are at the foot of the hills General." Another general said. "Wait. Be patient."


"Come with me." General moores said to Kayla as he took them to a different room. Kayla and her team would have been greeted with a Japanese General who was inside the room.


"The only reports I got from the Japanese government was that only JSDF personnel and equipment. What is your purpose. Why did my government send you?" The Japanese general asked.


"I agree. Please do explain why you are here. NATO, and the United Nations would also like to know why?" Moores added.


-General Heins-


An armoured jeep made it's way to the United Kingdom's envoys. As the vehicle stopped, the three envoys were amazed by the jeep before regaining focus at the current situation.


"Our kings, were very kind. They are offering you savages, the opportunity to leave so that no blood shall be shed." One of them said. "Also." Another took out a scroll. "By the request of their majesties, the imperial family of the Kingdom wishes that all enemy forces be withdrawn immediately. They wish for all land captured in your world to be returned. If these conditions are met, the kingdom will reduce the number of slaves to be brought from 3 thousand to 2 thousand each year."


The German General stood up. "Let me tell you my world's government's declarations."


"The Kingdom can kiss my ass as far as I'm concerned. Your government must pay us for killing thousands of innocent children, men and women. And for the assault of a number of women as well. If you don't or refuse, we are given all clearance to use any force that we deem necessary to force the kingdom and it's allies into submission. We're not going to go away peacefully. Why don't you make us go then."


"How dare you." One of the envoys drew his sword. One of the German soldiers pointed his assault rifle at the envoy.


"Halten." General Heins raised a hand at the German soldier.


"Prepare to be crushed." The lead envoy said as the three rode off. The General watched as he asked for the radio. "General Moores. The Kingdom is about to attack."


"Get us out of here." The General said getting in the jeep as the vehicle sped for the entrance.

The runway crew was giving the orders for the 409th to start the jet's engines. After a few minutes, the runway crewman gave the signals for the 409th to take off. "Remember. Take out their catapults and any other artillery or siege equipment that they may have."

"Kill as many of them as you like boys! There's enough for everyone!" The Lieutenant shouted. All UN infantry and vehicles had their guns pointed at the United Kingdom's army as they prepared to mow them down.

The massive army began to march up the hills as the knights raised their shields and pointed their spears as they were getting in range.

She freezes for a second after finishing her sentence, her mind going completely blank, then a tornado of questions storms her mind. She expected to see only General Moore,


she was mentally prepared TO ONLY MEET HIM, but as she looks around she sees all the famous generals of the offensive force. Her confusion only lasted one second as her training kicked in, but before she could say another word, she found herself dragged in another room with General Moore and General Tohou.


"I'm sorry general, for disturbing your meeting"*bows*"As for the reason of why I'm here" *she hands General Moore two letters:


one was written in original kanji with the Imperial Japanese Army(IJA) seal on it,


and another that was a English translated version of the first. General Moore passed the original one to General Tohou, and started reading the other:

This is an official letter from Tadamichi Kuribayashi, The Commander-in-Chief, Infantry Army Section of The Imperial Japanese Army.


The following material contains highly classified TOP SECRET – JAP / UN Force "EYES ONLY" informations.


"Dear general Moore,


You may be wandering why did the IJA sent this girl to you, despite her appearance, she is one of our bests assets when it comes to "dirty jobs" that we have to handle "off record" if you know what I mean. She comes comes from a family of loyal warriors, that warrior was known in ancient times as a samurai.


That is why she has that ancient-looking sword behind her, but do not be fooled, that sword is forged using Japan's state of the art technology, additional to being virtually indestructible, it contains one of our metarch level AI codename: "Aila", that combined with her Special Operations team of hand-picked elites constitutes a great asset .


But I'm deviating from the subject.This is what happened.


A few days ago we received a highly encrypted transmission from the UN HQ, requesting additional JSDF personnel and equipment for the beachhead base in Lothalinia.


After some debates we decided to lend the UN some "special" equipment of ours, we presented our offer to the UN, official they are sent as "auxiliary troops", but you may use them as you please. This is a remainder that the content of the letter is highly classified TOP SECRET – JAP / UN Army "EYES ONLY", and that official confirmation is needed from the JAP /UN Army before disclosing its content.


This letter, was redacted on the date of 25 of November 2099, 16:12 hours, local Kyoto time, by the AI secretary of Tadamichi Kuribayashi, The Commander-in-Chief, Infantry Army Section of The Imperial Japanese Army.

She remains there as the two read the letters, she herself doesn't know it's content, she only knows she had been ordered to deliver it, and listen to General Moore's orders. Considering what she does, it wouldn't be hard to guess the content, but she still remains in the same position awaiting nervously for them to finish reading.

"I thought Japan only used a self defense force." Moores stated.


"Yes. Yes we do. But this person obviously does not know their history. It is no longer the imperial japanese army. It is suppose to be the JSDF. Japanese Self Defense Force." General Tohou replied.


"General, send back a message. Tell them that we have not lost a single soldier so far in this war. The United Nations is wanting this to be a strictly defensive war for now." Moores said to Tohou.


"General." Another general walked into the room. "General Heinsenburg reports that the enemy is marching up the hills."


"Understood." Moores replied as he left the room.


"You stay here. You will not fight. But you will observe. We have another mission for you after." General Tohou said. "Go to the observatory floor of this building."

"Sir, the Admirals want to know if they can start coastal bombardment." One of the communications operatives said.


"Tell them they have all clearance." Moores replied.


"And what's taking the air force so long?"

The soldiers broke off as they all began to yell and charge up the hills. They were quickly stopped by barbed wires that stood in their way as the ones that managed to cross them were blown up by landmines planted under the earth.

Self propelled howitzers and MLRS units began to fire waves of artillery fire as the united kingdoms soldiers were being killed.


The soldiers in the trenches also began to open fire at the enemy with 50-cal. guns and assault rifles. There were tanks and armoured vehicles also providing additional cover.


The United Kingdom's soldiers were falling quickly as more infantry began to charge but were soon blown to bits from the navy's bombardment.

Organic Ray was Quickli Making its way towards the Battle zone as he needed too Grant assistens too the Kindomes army,As little did he know,there was a suprice wating for him,as he runs smoke ejects from his body as he was forzing himself too get on time as he was needed.

With a surprised face she replies "yes sir!", leaves the room through the back-door, not wanting to disturbs the generals again, and starts walking around while looking for a sign that could lead her to the observatory floor.

Japanese Self Defense Force.", she starts whining in her mind "how could he say that, I'm not that stupid. I know the original IJA was disbanded after the WW2, ages ago. it's true that, what me and my team do isn't exactly legal,and our actions are always "off record" could it be that the new IJA is a totally different organization from the JSDF,


but it's not my place to question things, I was ordered to obey General Moore's orders and that is what I'm gonna do. For now I should head to the observatory floor and get a grasp on the current situation here"


then she breaks the silence asking in a low voice "Are you in their systems yet, Aila?". Then a joyful voice answered in her earpiece.


"UUUU you saw right through me, didn't you Ari-chan?", Kayla smiles "It's not like I've not known you for the last 7 years" Aila then answers her with a nostalgic voice "It's been 7 years , 32 days, 8 hours, 22 minutes and 34 seconds to be exact, but who's counting?"


then she let out something like a sigh while saying "I couldn't get much, they have some pretty good AI's here, well I got my hands on the facility's blueprints if your interested".


With a broad smile Kayla instructs the AI "Please set a path towards the the observatory floor and if you're at it locate my team, I should at least know where they are staying". After which Aila responds happily "K boss"

The 409th were able to clear out most of the artillery and siege equipment from their bombs.


A transmission came from the control tower for Marcel and his squadron to fly back to the airbase to that they can swap into the ground attack fighter jets.


Other pilots from different squadrons swooped in as they released napalm onto the United Kingdom's soldiers. Marcel would be able to see the knights and mythical soldiers running away in terror of the quickly spreading flames from the napalm.

The 50-cal. Guns were tearing up any soldier that decided that they would try and climb further up.

The cowering soldiers in the front guards were forced by the commanders to push on as they were quickly being mowed down by tanks, mortars, artillery, airstrikes, and guns.

"Enemy Protocals engage....What the-?"The metalical voice says as Ray sees creatures of it sizes sudently Jump over the trees and open its mouth and projectiels Shoot out,as she would Get hit by one and it Freezes Its leg left too the ground,but it would easy break,Metal Ray would Look Foward and see what Ray was base off.....a stone Matis,as Ray would start Signaling too the general and say "This is Ray,Frontline defense.....We have a Stone mantis...Orders?"The female metalical Voice says in COMM as Ray needed too know if its needed too Consentrate on the Mantis or Maintain Defensive Position.

The British wer efocusing on the new organic rays that entered their trenches. Some were hit by the organic ray as some british soldiers were fleeing as tanks began to move into position. A couple wer hit in the tracks causing them to be immobilized.


"Load X-shells!" The tank commander shouted as one of the crew men on the challenger 8 tank switched from HE rounds to the X rounds.


The Challenger 8 tank fired several shots of the new shell at the organic rays. The x shell flew out of the barrel as it began to release several locks and and tungsten rod's tip's cap flew off showing a very sharp tip as it flew a high velocity at the organic ray hitting them in the blue spots.

A few soldiers would creep up and stuff all their grenades into other organic ray's blue glowing areas as they made a run for it. Some of them getting hit.


Ground assault aircraft were dropping payloads of cluster bombs and acid bombs including high explosive bombs at the organic rays as well.


The new UN AI armoured units were also beginning to engage as they began to shoot the organic rays in the blue spots as well.

Most of the united kingdom's army was already obliterated. Some of them were beginning to flee the battle. Organic ray would have seen that the United Nations was relentless and the futuristic weapons of war were much to powerful for the armies to handle as a single explosion would take out dozens of men.

Organic Ray is sudently Barrage by Projectiels,as one of his wings are cleaning Rip from its body as the grenades inside of him explode causing His holes too shoot Fire,as his Glow changes too a Deep red and As Pices fall off him because of so Many Magick Blast.as he would fall down as he would place lay on his side of his missing arm so he could Regenerate it by harvesting the stone Under ground.


"Hold Fire!....We gota test Ray,s Combat Capability...and we have not been able too do so....now is the chance!"Says one of the soldiers in charge of Ray,as ray would Look at the down Mantis,as he got in this Running Position,its back bended and his wings extended,as Ray waited for the Fire too hold so Ray could Charge at the mantis and not get hit with freindly Fire.

Kayla sees above the guarded door a sign reading "Observatory floor",


seeing her the guards make a hasty salute, she responds to the salute replying "At ease!" and enters the room.


It was a huge roam with monitors all over the place, and a small staff crew analysing the data, she makes a small nod towards them not wanting to disturb them.


She directs her attention towards a blank monitor, she then says in a low voice "can you show me the status of the current battle, Aila?"


The AI happily responds "In a sec, this floor's AI is a friendly dude, so he has granted us access to live feed from all the cameras on the battlefield, look" the blank monitor turns on and starts projecting live feed.


On the monitor Kayla could see the new model jet-fighters dropping napalm on enemy infantry troops and the returning to base. Then she saw British tanks firing at what was called 'organic rays', agile things despite their size, she even saw some soldiers creeping behind one and dropping grenades in it's open holes, then running away from it.


But what caught her attention was some kind of mechanical armor unit that somehow resembled the enemy's 'organic rays'. She then asked Aila:


"What is that?", after a moment of silence Aila responds.


"According to my new friend here, that is the new UN AI armor unit prototype based upon the


the 'organic ray' or "mantis" how they called them." then continues with a proud voice "but the AI is far from being a metarch level one, like myself, they refer to it as "M-ray", but its AI's named Eva..how cute..." Aila continued her commenting but Kayla wasn't listening to her anymore, she stared at the screen looking at M-ray's performance, killing a infantry group with little difficulty, then she suddenly asks Aila:


"Hey how much battle experience does this thing have?"


The AI quickly responded "None, this is its first live combat, and its not doing so bad if I say so myself"


Kayla responded "Is that so..well I kind of got the feeling it has little experience but its first battle... interesting."


Suddenly the monitor shows a 'Mantis' appearing in front of M-ray,


"Let's see how you fare against your original" says Kayla showing a small smile, then asking.


"What do you think Aila, can it defeat its original?"


"It's hard to say Ari-chan...according to the specs M-ray is a somehow improved version of the Mantis,


but with no real battle experience, I would go 50/50 in this one."


"Fair enough, let's see what happens next"she replies.

Ray would see they stop Firering,as she would stand and would get in a Running position and sudently would sprint foward leaping over the soldiers and land on theground seeing the Manties in the distance,as she would charge at him with its wings extended,as wen near Ray would lower its head and bite down with its metalical Jaw on organic Ray,s Leg,and would start Chaking its head Violent way and soon Rip its leg clean off,and would stop its leg On his head pining him down.

The barrage continued from the other parts of the trenches. The British-UN soldiers and vehicles all moved closer to the organic ray as their weapons were still pointed at it.


"Hold! Hold!" One of the Commanders yelled. "DO you know why we are here!?" The commander yelled at Organic ray.


"The humans of this god damn world invaded our world! Your people killed children and women from my world! And the Kingdom will pay for it's crimes against us. If that means that we must resort to unconventional methods of warfare."


"M-Ray. Let it live. But don't let it hurt any of my soldiers." The commander ordered M-ray.

M-Ray would hear,as Ray would slowli remove its Foot from his face as The Creature laid there as ray would say "I am Not one of you.....Im am somthing made new"It says in the metalical female voice as this creature surely has never seen the Fouter but dint mater now....if it did one single move,Ray would rip that dam stone head off its body

Kayla could see afterwards that the Mantis was already wounded from the grenades that those soldiers dropped in it earlier and calmly says:


"The alien Mantis is wounded from earlier, and the soldiers stopped shooting it. I'd say that thing doesn't have long. Besides they wouldn't risk that prototype....M-ray was it?, to get damaged" she sees then how M-ray jumps and bits the leg off the wounded Mantis, then started pressing on its head with its leg.


"At least he has some good spirit, finishing the enemy quickly is the best a soldier could do...but the lack of experience shows in the useless moves he makes" after that Aila intervenes:


"But look it stopped its foot mid-air, they must be talking about something, I can't hear them clearly since the background noises are too strong." Kayla nods and then almost shouts at the monitor:


"Finish him!!! Hesitating in combat will kill you in a instant!!", she could feel her blood boiling inside of her, then after a few seconds she sees M-ray stamping on the Mantis's head and shattering it to pieces, soon its body shattered as well.


After seeing her reaction, Aila comments in a submissive voice: "It has to return to base soon to restock and charge its batteries, do you want to meet it?"


Kayla observed how her AI friend Aila was using the word IT to describe the prototype weapon known as M-ray, an responded in a low tone:"Sure, but let your new AI buddy here know where we're going, and have him redirect incoming orders from general Moore, directly to you"


Then makes a small bow towards the technician team in the Observatory Floor before leaving the room and heading to the place M-ray would go for restocking.

M-Ray Followd as Ray would stop reaching a small Camp area outside the main base,as there was a large red Circule painted on the ground with a large "R" inside,as Ray would stand in the circule as the head Engenier would nod at ray and would say "Good job ray...for just a Test you were good...maybe next time we might just give you your first Mission"The engenier says as ray look down at him and says in that female metalical voice "As Stats suggest im 86% Capable at thus Task"Ray says as the engenier Rolld his eyes and would say "well we will see....Lower and get redy too restock and replace"he says as he would walk off inside a large Military tent,as Ray would lower it self and put its head on the ground,as engeniers would Go towards its head and would start Removing Ray,s Jaws as they were large and heavy made of pure metal,as some would Bringe Large Boxes that have wheels and wen one of Rays jaws were removed was place inside the box,as they Bring a new Box with a new set of Jaws for Ray.


As a the rest of the enginiers made there way towards Rays wings and they open the small Hatches on its wings as some were empty,ans some had Missels in them,as a Truck would back up close too the wing as on its cargo had Number of Micro Missels,as engeniers slowli and carfully started Plasing missels inside the empty tubes,as ray was Connected too large tubes that started recharging Ray,aswell it was aware of A Visit coming soon.

As Kayla reached the small camp outside the main base, where she would see the prototype,"M-ray", as if in a prayer with his head touching the ground.All kinds of engineers were all around him working and swapping different parts. Then Aila says something unexpected:


"This is why I refused to be installed in any other system besides these swords, people would constantly dismember me and mutilate me like that. I know it's seems worse than it is but still.." she didn't finish her sentence. Kayla understood her feelings, yes although Aila was an AI she had feeling like a human, these feelings were a byproduct of her high capacity of analysis and her self awareness. So even though she was an AI she was one of the closest AI to actually think and feel like a human, and the thought of people constantly messing with her body, in any form, was unbearable for her. Trying to cheer her up Kayla said in a happy voice: "Don't worry aibo (partner) I won't let anyone take you away from me, but for now we should try finding the person in charge of this "M-ray" project. Let's see if we have any luck finding him in this tent." and she enters the tent nearby M-ray, while saying:"Please pardon the intrusion!"

Inside the tent there were lost of high rank engeniers as one had a Red Lab coat,as he would hear the Lady and would sigh leting go of the terminal and say "Keep Rays data up too date..I will be right back"he says as the tall man would strech and yawn and would aproche the lady and say "Excuse me may i help you?"the man ask as what was she doing here? only High Engeniers were allowd in this tent....matbe she was lost or was a new addition? well who knew but it was beter too ask.


As Ray was being work on as ray dint have none of his 3 jaws as inside his mouth was a rectangle like hole with smoke coming out of it,as that was rays main wepon,as the engeniers would come in and start placing a new set of jaws as theas jaws were made of compress steel making them much hevier and stronger,as Ray,s Missel Hatches were all Full and the truck would back up,as 2 engeniers would stand on Rays back and would open 6 large hatches on its back as they inspect Rays Cruis missels.

She sees a man in a red lab coat approaching her and asking her if how can he help her. To that she responds:


"Captain Kayla Ariel D'Sole, I have seen the prototype codename "M-ray"'s performance just before, in the Observatory Floor and I..*she hesitates a second then corrects herself* We would like to see it more closely and learn more about it..especially about the AI Eva that resides in it, maybe talk to her. From what I've seen it is still inexperienced in combat. So we came here for permission to engage in conversation and maybe some intel about it, hell maybe teach it something while we're at it, if its advanced enough for that I mean".She shown a proud smile. Then she could hear Aila's voice in her earpiece:


"What do you mean we??? you wanted to be here, I couldn't care less about it"
