Gang RP (jiyubei and goldcat)

Mercedes Fawray watched the citizen from down below her apartment's balcony. She smirked ever so softly. Taking her Diet Coke she slowly poured it by the citizen. It landed just inches away from the poor guy and the splat of her drink startled him. He looked up quickly and Mercedes backed away so he wouldn't see her. She heard the boy curse softly, then went back over to the edge of her balcony. The boy had started walking away down the sidewalk, so she repeated the stunt before he could get too far. The splash of Mercy's drink startled the boy again and he looked up immediately. He caught a glimpse of Mercedes, "Hey!" He screamed at her. Mercy laughed and went inside her apartment, closing the balcony door behind her.

She started to go get ready for her gang's meeting down in the abandoned warehouse just a few blocks away from here. That was where the Haildren Mafia met up often. She put black and blue face paint on her face today, and styled them as stripes, then put a line of blue lipstick down the center of her lips. Once she was satisfied, she grabbed her supplies, she brought with every time, then started on her way down the street. It was a sunny day today. Eleven in the morning and clear skies. The temperature was hot, being it was mid July. She walked down the crowded streets of New York city, hiding her face. Then finally, she arrived at the warehouse and started getting set up. She had sent messages to all the members of her gang about the meeting, and expected them to arrive shortly.

~

Beck Grizden woke up from friends shaking him, "Get up man, it's already eleven!"

Beck groaned and covered his face then opened his eyes, looking at all three of them. "Hey..." He said groggily, "Is there anything going on in Orieon today?" He asked them, for they were members as well.

"We don't know. We're still waiting on a message from Salem." They answered. Beck, David, Garrett, and Rex all shared this little rundown house. It had one bedroom, one bathroom, a living room, kitchen and dining room, and that's about it. They all made it work. Beck sat up looking at his friends.

He rubbed his eyes tiredly, "Ok, well tell me if we get a message..." Beck told them, then stood up, stretching. He went over to the bathroom and took a quick shower, then went to the kitchen to grab something to eat. He wondered what assignment Salem would give him next. After eating the guys all started going on a walk together, each of them keeping their phones handy in case they got a notification.

@Jiyubei

Natari was asleep when she had gotten a message on her cellphone early that morning. It was her father who woke her up noisily walking past all the beer cans or bottles on his way to the fridge to pull out some pre-made sandwiches. Natari yawned and stretched before slipping out of her bed and heading to the bathroom."Dammit" she murmured sleepily looking at the message in the phone, her gang was supposed to meet early today and here she was just getting up. She brushed her teeth and pulled her curly brown hair into a large ponytail and got herself ready. She never put on face paint unless they were going into a gang fight and only usually at nights. She pulled on a black tank top with a jean vest over top. Her jeans also matched but had rips in them and she pulled on her black converse shoes. She kept one pocket knife on her and then she felt she was ready. "Dad I am going out....do you have work today?" she asked shouting from the front door. "Yea" he grumbled back "Working late shift tonight...order pizza when you get home" He called. Natari grinned at that...she loved pizza and now was looking forward to a short meeting and coming back home to relax today. She left their grubby little apartment and headed down the alley way and in to the bust streets of New York city. The hustle and bustle was very annoying but now a days she liked it because no one would dare jump her in the middle of the hustle an bustle. Gangs all of the city seem to be popping up all over although her boss was leader over a large amount of turf. She walked through another alley way and over a fence straight to the back to the back of a warehouse. Upon arriving she noticed a lot of people there.....had she been late? she certainly woke up late. "Tari!" One of her friends showed up pushing through the crowd to reach her .He was tall and handsome and been in the gang longer then she had."Lucky your not the very last person here, you know how our boss like us on time..." he said naggingly. Tari rolled her eyes "It was just this once Rain...she would forgive me and besides....your the one who she scolds not me..." she was quickly interrupted by his excitement "any way did you hear about our rival gang? I hear they are trying for more territory...maybe we are going to drive them out."

"I doubt it...Mercy has better things to do I bet"

"Well we will see wont we...she is coming now" He snorted.

Natari looked over the heads of the rest of her gang, she looked up to Mercedes a lot. She was so strong and independent and it never seemed like anyone could keep her down. She waited patently like everyone else to find out what they were all called there for.

Salem twisted his fingers in between two smooth marbles, around and around thinking slowly to himself. "It was one of those days again" he thought to himself. Most of the time he was laid back and happy but today he was pissed off and he would have to take the heat for it.He pulled out his cell staring down at it with a frown on his face. He needed to know and he needed to know today,as much as he wanted to deny it. All Orieon members meet NOW.

he sent a mass text from his phone and threw it on to his jacket laying on a dusty desk. He was already at the hide out located at the scrap yard just outside of town where nobody goes except him. They usually hung outside and had fires or if it was a little cold they would go into the junk yard house to chill. Salem waited trying to decide what he would say to his gang once they arrived...he was always easygoing with them but this was just ridiculous...did they think him a fool? well that was about to change. He dropped his stress balls and closed his eyes tight. It was early that morning when he received a call, not from any of his crew or friends but from another Gang entirely.....he claimed to have gotten Salem's number from some digging around but the purpose of the call was to say that one of his crew members was killed that morning and he was blaming Salem's people.Salem denied it but the guy insisted it was Orieon who was responsible for the killing.

Suddenly noise erupted outside. His gang was arriving and they all sounded in a good mood from the sound of it.. Salem opened his eyes and let out a long sigh and pulled open the large steel doors that lead to the scrap yard. People were still coming so he watched them for a while. They were all rambunctious and rowdy and not ready for what Salem had to say but he was going to say it and he hoped he could find out. When everyone had arrived they became silent, as leader he had a sort of presence that demanded respect when he was serious and as he was barely serious, him not smiling meant he wasn't in a good mood today. "I had received a call today" he said loudly so everyone could hear him "about a crime committed at 3am this morning" he looked at all the faces. They all looked more or less perplexed as they committed loads of crime....most of which were organized and a lot of which were stealing and gang fights. "Orieon was accused of killing a gang member from Tandem and of course I am taking the heat from it....Though I denied any of you had taken part in this they insisted it was one of us....Now....which ever of you have done this...I will not tell Tandem who, you know me already but you must tell me so I can act accordingly." Silence filled the scrap yard as everyone just looked at him. Sure....they have done their fair share of murder but it was always his best and most loyal members of his gang who did it and always under him so he knew what was going on but killing another member with out him knowing had grave consequences. "Now come forward!" He snapped. No one came forward. "Listen...." he tried to remain calm but his voice quivered over his anger " If I find out ANY one of you did this so help me God!" he shouted. Everyone remained silent and no one stepped forward still. He had a feeling they did nothing....he was stumped and confused. They would have to face Tandem....a Gang he wanted to avoid for as long as he could remember. "Forget it...just... go do something" He snapped again at them and leaned against a pile of auto parts.

Mercedes watched as her people filed into the warehouse. She watched with amusement, as some of them came in rowdy, and just ready to beat someones face off, and others were completely serious, and waiting for their orders. Many of them had a mixture of these two extremes. Mercy was happy to have all of these types of people a member of her gang. She grinned at the dozens of them. Mercy, no matter what, cared for all her members. They were her family, and her friends. Through the intimidating, thrill-seeking shell she held on the outside, a caring, joyful girl still stood on the inside. She treated her gang better than many gang leaders. Of course, she still had her off days. She still got snappy with them once in a while, but she made sure they knew, that they were welcome here. Because of this, respect came pretty easily to her. If someone stepped out of line, Mercy would probably really embarrass them before she would hurt them.

Once she figured everyone was here, she had the warehouse doors shut and sealed, so no one could enter. Mercy stepped onto the homemade stage the gang had created and she looked out at her members, smirking. They all quieted once she was on the stage, and looked at her, many of them grinning back. Mercy laughed softly, and raised her hands, and took a deep breath, "Okay guys... I have a confession to make..." She bit her lip and looked down pretending to be ashamed. She felt everyone's eyes staring at her, and those who were grinning were now probably frowning. Mercy pretended to be ashamed a second longer then perked up again, "So today... I was just sitting at home, bored, you know? Wasn't anything to do. So I just kind a grabbed a Coke, and sat out on my balcony. And the boredness continued to creep in. So... In attempt to entertain myself, I went to the edge of the balcony, and looked down and they're was this young man down there. He wasn't particularly interesting until I poured my Coke on him..." She sighed then laughed, "So I'm guessing all of you newbies thought all gang leaders ever did was some bad a** sh*t right!? Well you tell me if pouring Coke on people is bad a**?" She grinned and looked out at them. Most people were shaking their heads in amusement. Then their was a select few who were nodding hesitantly, nearly all of which were newbies. They made Mercy laugh, "No it's not you guys. Be honest with me now. If you actually think it is, then you are out of place here. So let me repeat the question. Is pouring Coke on people, bad a**!?" This time everybody shook their head, and some people really into it, shouted out no. "That's right! Good! We're all on the same page now!" She looked at the newbies, "Let this be a lesson to you guys, to always be honest with me. Mmkay?" She spoke, the threat in an amused voice. She hadn't shown them what could happen to them if they weren't. She hoped it didn't come to that, and she'd rather joke around with them. "And to the rest of you, I just wanted to remind you, that I have personality too! So that's my confession to start us off!"

Mercy grinned a bit longer, then turned a bit more serious. "Now let's get onto business. There are two things we need to discuss today! The first thing, is a bit more... Of a warning, I suppose. We have learned that our rivaling gang "Orieon" wants to fight with us, for more territory! The first thing I'm going that is: They can dream all they want, but they're not getting what's rightfully ours! Whose with me on that!?" Everyone shouted out an I, and raised their hands, pleasing Mercy. "Good! Now. What are we going to do about this little... Situation?" She asked them and looked around, "I say, we keep our eyes on them. They make one wrong move, then we can battle. But a starting a battle right now, is not worth it. We have more important things to focus on." She grinned, "Which brings us to our next subject." She shifted excitedly, "We have newbies today. Those who want to a part of our gang, and believe the guts. Which is why, tonight... We riot!" Everyone burst out into excited shouts, and talking. They loved riots. Mercedes waited for them to quiet. "For those of you that are new, riot is the word the Haildren gang uses when we are going to pick a part of the city, and terrorize citizens, stores, and go all out crazy mode until the cops come! You guys would be surprised how fast they can arrive! So it's up to you to not. Get. Caught!" Mercy smirked, "Cause as much chaos as you can. Steal things, break things, taunt things. But! There is one rule!" She turned stoic, "And I'm very serious. During riots, we kill nobody! You hear me!? NOBODY! If someone gets killed during a riot, and the police arrive, and a couple of you get caught. The trouble you are in- the whole gang not to mention- just rose 500 times worse! That rule has never been broken before, and I expect the same for tonight!" She smiled, "SO WHOSE READY FOR A FUN NIGHT!?" The gang roared in excitement. "We meet back here at ten tonight! I'll see you guys then!"

She stepped off the stage, as the gang continued to cheer. Mercy went over to her little office she stood. She usually waited until everybody left. If anyone had to talk to her about something, now was the time.

~

Beck, David, Rex, and Garrett all received the mass text at the same time. Lucky for the four of them, their walk had led them actually fairly close to the scrapyard. They looked at each other from the mass text. "I wonder what his urgency might be?" David commented. Beck only shrugged, not being able to provide an answer. Together, they closed off the rest of the distance from where they were, to the scrap yard. They entered through the large steel doors, and looked around at the other people within their gang. Many people were loud and crazy, and just very rowdy. Rex and Garrett were like those people. They joined in with the yelling and taunting and all of that. Beck and David were a bit more serious. Of course they still could get very rowdy at times, when they first enter a meeting, they are much more mellow.

They went and stood in the middle of the crowd and waited for Salem to come out and speak. After a couple of minutes, Salem made his presence and from the looks of it, was not in a very good mood. Beck glanced nervously at David, and then directed his attention back at Salem. As Salem started talking, Beck listened in shock. He had no idea who would do that. Many people shifted uncomfortably, and to Beck's judgement, that only made them more suspicious looking. Beck himself just stood still, and waited for anyone to step forward. No one did. He wondered if the Tandem group was right. Had it been one of Orieon's? If so, who? Salem gave up on trying to find out who did it, and ended up snapping at them to go find something to do. Beck looked at his three friends in surprise, "That was weird." He said to them as they nodded in agreement.

"We should go ask Salem for a task." Rex suggested. Garrett nodded in agreement and they started to turn.

Beck raised his eyebrows, "You want to do that, when he's in this mood. I don't know guys. I advise against it."

Garrett and Rex ignored him and continued on. David and Beck looked at each other and frowned. They began to hesitantly follow as they made their way up to Salem. Garrett greeted him, nervously, "Salem... We're looking for a task to do..." He gestured to the four of them.

Beck hovered in the back, biting his lip, and looking away. He hoped Salem wouldn't release any wrath he had right now. He didn't want to deal with a pissed of Salem...

Natari wasn't sure what to think of her Leaders odd speech. It was true...she was more of a new recruit and her talking had to do with new people in the group but she was unsure if it was her way of saying there was always time for fun and games in the gang. Tari sighed when she was done and looked over at her friend who seemed to love shouting with the rest. "So you were right then" she said to him cracking a small smile. "They were trying to take more territory..." she scratched the bridge of her nose. Rain nodded "Yea I always hear these rumors around town, leave it to our leader to know whats happening though...nothing misses her" he said smiling at her. Mercy switched the subject though and explained in honor of the new gang members there was to be a riot. The gang burst into shouts scattering some birds into the sky. Tari sighed, the group was getting ever larger and almost each time enough members were recruited they rioted and she did take part except she wasn't the most excited person to ever do so. Rain however loved to riot, he loved to break things and steal things and scare people miserable, but Tari didn't hold it against him. This was his family and this was all he knew. When Mercy had finished and gave the order of dismissal she hopped down and retreated to her little makeshift office where she could relax and people could come and see her individually or as a small group. Rain smoothed his hair back dusted himself off "I am going to ask her out today..." he said confidently as he walked towards the room. Tari grabbed him by the arm with a look of terror on her face "Stupid...as much as she cares for us I doubt she has tolerance for stupidity....don't do that!!" she hissed at him.He raised an eyebrow curiously looking his friend up and down "well...well... I would have never guessed my own best friend had feelings for me like that" he grinned at her. Slowly he put his hand on to her cheek making her face red, Tari rolled her eyes and kicked him in between the legs to get away. Rain crumpled to the ground moaning "I will be right back Rain, you wait here" she told him and walked into the office closing the door behind him to lock out the moaning.

"Mercedes...hello" she began stammering like a fool.I had come to simply request that I go with Rain to scout and keep an eye out on Orieon before the riot tonight and afterwards." she asked. It was the first time she spoke directly to her leader. Most of the time Mercy would explain what needed to be done and the group would figure out how best to accomplish it, but today she wanted to ask special permission. "Also I liked your speech, though I cannot tell if your telling us that we can do the same things you do or not."

--------------------------------

Salem eyed the boys who were coming towards them. They looked eager and happy which didn't fit the bill in what he was looking for in a murderer, but then again....you never know what anyone really is capable of these days. Still he wanted to stick by his gang and firmly believe that they didn't do the act away from his own orders. The boys approached him and one boy asked nervously for a task.Salem's eyes narrowed as he looked at them slowly, one after the other and then back again without saying a word then spotted the boy behind them not making eye contact. "You....boy why are you looking away when right in front of me your asking me for a task to do?" Salem didn't wait for him to answer though " My task is simple and I need you to be discreet....I need some of you to scout out downtown because knowing that Haildren would be out doing the same keeping an eye on us. Next I need some of you to go and do some detective work....find out who killed the member of Tandem, as it stands we have heat from both sides and the best we can do is at least turn one down one." He looked at them to see if they would back out but no one did "Well go..." he snapped at them to leave. Of course he wouldn't let just them handle the task but he was proud they came to him with initiative and purpose and that was more then he could ask for from newer gang members. He supposed he hadn't greeted them with a full scale Orieon party, he needed to do that to make them feel welcomed but the heat from both sides of the map was making it impossible. He watched the boys go to do their duty, if he was going to find out information....he would have to go out into the field himself. "Wait up" he shouted at the retreating boys. "You...boy...the one who looked away from me...come with me...I have a special task for you"

Mercedes shifted and looked over at the younger girl and grinned at her. She could tell the girl was nervous, so she softened her grin into a smile. "Natari Seater. I believe this is the first time we've talked alone, face-to-face. Well first let me say it's a pleasure." Then she thought for a moment about the girl's words. "About my speech, yes. If you're talking about pouring Coke on people, go right ahead, cause it's actually fairly entertaining!" She laughed then watched the girl, "You're all allowed to do many things I do. Like... I use the bathroom, so I would hope you know you're allowed to do that too." Mercy was amusing herself. "But you're allowed to act as my role in the gang. Don't give orders to people without my permission. But I'm sure you already know that." Mercy looked at her hand casually and started playing with her nails, as she thought about the girl's suggestion. "You want to go out and spy on on Orieon with Rain?" Mercy liked that the girl had openly come up to her, and volunteered to do a needed job. Natari was fairly new, but Rain has been around for a while, and Mercy knew she could trust him. Mercedes grinned at Natari again, "I grant you permission to do the job. Just remember to not get caught. That would cause a great deal of... Trouble to say the least. You and Rain are to keep me posted on what they are up to, okay?" She didn't wait for a reply, "Good. It's settled." Mercy was about to call next, but she smiled softly at Natari, "By the way, I will honestly tell you, that you have earned some of my respect just now. For being pretty new still, and having the guts to comment on my speech, and request a job... That's a brave thing to do. The gang needs members like you." She complimented the girl.

However, she didn't want to become too nice, so she waved the girl off, "Next!" She called out.

~

David had elbowed Beck when Salem made his comment about Beck looking away, and Beck quickly made eye contact with Salem. "S-Sorry..." He muttered as Salem continued on. Garrett and Rex looked at each other excited when Salem brought up the first task. David and Beck could already tell that the two had claimed that job, so they listened to Salem for the other task. Finding the murderer. Great. Beck and David looked at each other. Both were very capable of this, but it made them nervous to think that someone within their gang could be the murderer. All four boys nodded at Salem, and the leader snapped at them to go. "O-okay. Thank you!" Rex said to Salem. The four boys started to walk away. Rex and Garrett were enthusiastically discussing their task. Suddenly Salem's voice came up from behind them, and Beck heard his leader refer to him. David looked over at Beck and both of them gulped slightly. "Good luck." David told Beck. Beck smiled nervously, and he turned back towards Salem, and made his way over to him. "A special task?" The gang member asked his leader. He was sure to make unwavering eye contact with Salem, knowing that the leader had already once gotten suspicious with him.
