A type of story/craving I've been having as of late, would fall into the Alien/Predator franchise. Something about the fight for survival at every turn, outclassed in every way (or on even footing if you're a predator), never knowing if you're position or hiding place is secure, fighting for your life at every turn appeals to me. I will put a disclaimer in bold right now It's been ages since I've seen a film or comic. However, I'm a massive lore junkie, and I tend to read information about the verse in my free time.
Any ideas I have here are subject to discussion and change, just very loose ideas. I have no idea on timestamps, if that's super important, it'll be discussed.
Colonial Marine/ Colonial marine
The most go to story and sometimes the most appealing, the U.S.S Aggressor and it's sister ship the U.S.S Rosebay have been deployed to investigate a colony that sent out a very brief distress call, before going completely dark. The marines in this situation have had training and brief into the xenomorph threat, and some have even survived missions with them. However, the hive and infestation they will find is far beyond anything they could ever have feared, and they are quickly separated, torn apart, or infected. Inevitebly, it'll come down to the two PC's being stuck to survive alone, and hopefully call for backup and signal for escape.
Marine/ Yautja
Second verse, same as the first. However, the marine will find that instead of teaming up with a surviving squad mate, they'll find themselves stuck dealing with a predator who they have no briefing on, let alone any intel. The Predator's motives for working with the human are the usual and very simplistic thing: they've proven themselves a capable hunter/survivor and the yautja has no qualms with cooperating with them, given it's own hunting party (or young-bloods it was watching over) is now dead, and it also has to work it's way off planet.
Yautja/Yautja
The scenerio for where there would be almost no holds barred on either PC, and literally everything that could kill them would be tossed at them. Two elite's have agreed to go hunting in partnership onto a well known hunting grounds planet, which is currently experiencing an infestation, not to mention the already dangerous beasts that live there. There is nothing really keeping them here besides their drive for honor and a good hunt.
