Fandom Gallifrey Stands: A Time Lord Roleplay

The Leader picked up his phone and answered in an ushured voice. ''Be quiet'' he said as he heard what the Editor had to say. Apparently, weeping angels were in the underground, but the rules specifically prohibited them from helping one another directly. ''Just keep your eye on them'' the Leader said. ''I would come and help, but we would be both disqualified'

"okay" he said putting the phone away "whatever you do lilly don't blink the statue is just right there" he said as the fire's begun to go out" oh god Editor he fire's are going out come on just get the tatue of hade's" she said as the editor begun to shrink it and put it in his pocket "got it now back away as fast as possible" he said as he then begun to back away the fire's continued to flicker out in front of them once thay were at the safe distance thay begun to run as fast as thay could thay manege to get out of there in time and get inside the tardis "Ill be having words with the head of this race let me tell you that" he said looking at her as he waited in the tardis. Lilly is currently out of breath at the momment.

It had taken some time, but once she thought she was on the right way, finding Dionysos' Palace was only a matter of time. The sounds of laughter, joy, and music, as well as the smells of at least a thousand different foods drafted towards her. The Traveler hoped it would be no problem to get into the Palace. After all, someone like Dionysos would often get visitors, right? People from all over the multiverse to take part in his exclusive parties. She straightened her back and held her head high as she walked up to the entrance as if she absolutely belonged there. Hopefully on the outside there would be nothing to be seen of the actual nervousness she felt.

"Invitation?" one of the stone lions guarding the entrance asked.

Well, crap. It was unlikely a stone statue would fall for the psychic paper trick. Yet she rummaged her pockets, as if she was searching for it.

"It... eh... would seem I have lost it..." she tried.

"No invite, no entrance," the statue said.

"It's hardly my fault I travel to so many places..." she muttered, although she knew arguing with a stone lion probably wouldn't get her anywhere.

"I sense a presence that is not Olympian," hollered a voice from inside, similar as to what Zeus had said about the Leader. "A presence I have last sensed on our world a very long time ago."

The Traveler made a small step backwards, not quite sure whether or not his words would be a good thing or a bad thing.

"Let the Time Lady pass."

The statue came to life again and seemed to gaze into her soul. Both her hearts were beating so fast it would sound like they were giving a drum-solo.

"Go inside," the statue said, and the Traveler nervously obeyed. She was still unsure whether it would be a good thing or a bad thing that Dionysos recognized the Gallifreyan presence, but at least she was inside now. And that was a start.

The Leader was still hiding along with Arinda, as the guards of Zeus were still looking for him. Like other Olympians, Zeus had a powerful presence-sensing gift, so he knew a Time Lord was hiding amongst them, and a time lady at that. ''Show yourself'' Zeus said as he stayed in his throne. ''Don't make this harder for yourself, Gallyfreian'' he said as he boomed to his guards. ''Bring in the statues'' he said as everybody stood back, and a bunch of Olympians brought forward a few cages, and then opened them. Gendry almost recoiled in horror as he saw from beneath his hiding, that the prisoners were Weeping Angels. The oldest, most deadly assasins that killed you by zapping you back through time with just a touch. And in the front cage, stood a different statue, that of a bulkier angel, with stone armor, and bared fangs. The Leader knew welll what that was. The rare Weeping Archangel, a prodigy even in the ranks of the angels. More stronger, and faster than ever, if you blinked just once, he could zap you back in any time he wanted.

The Leader gulped as he realised in what mess he had gotten himself into.

Slowly and somewhat sheepishly the Traveler walked to the immense hallway, towards the large, food-filled table. At its head sat Dionysos, a rather big figure in every sense of the word. She stopped at a respectable distance and looked up at the near-godly being sitting not too far away from her.

"Ah, a young Time Lady," he said with a smile. "What brings you all the way here?"

She gulped and quickly decided honesty would be the best policy.

"I am not sure how much you know of our kin and our world," she spoke politely. "But I am partaking in a contest of sorts. We need to collect artifacts of sorts. I was hoping you would be willing to give me one of your famed goblets. In exchange for tales of other times and worlds, of course. Since I assume someone like you would be interested in hearing those."

She finished her talking with a small, polite bow.

Dionysos smiled. 'Come take a walk in my garden with me," he said.

The gardens were truly marvelous, lush and rich in flowers, colors, and smells. They reached a lane with overhanging trees. Between the trees were various statues. As she recognized the statues deeper in the garden, the Traveler gulped.

"Curious statues, no?" Dionysos said grinning. "They just... appeared out of nowhere one day."

"Are you aware what these statues are?" the Traveler carefully asked.

"That I most certainly am. Good luck, Time Lady. If you manage to get out of here unharmed, I might consider giving you what you're looking for."

And with those words he hurried off, leaving her alone. Surrounded by the statues of the Angels with their covered eyes. This was bad.... This was very, very bad.

The King kept on walking, sword drawn, he smelt sea salt, must have been close, seeing as Poseidon was meant to be a Sea God. Then saw his prize, a three pronged trident sitting in the centre of a pool of water.

"Bingo." Said The King triumphantly. This seemed too easy, the resident's owner wasn't even home. Then he noticed something else, on either side of the pool was an angel statue, their hands over their eyes. The King's skin turned white, these where angels, weeping angels. He had heard of them in stories, but he assumed they weren't real. Now he stood corrected. Only one thought burned through his head: Don't. Blink.

The Leader's face was full of sweat as from behind his hideout, he urged Arinda again and again to blink at separate times than him, for the angels ti not move, so they could keep eyes on them. The effort proved fruitless, as in a flash, two weeping angels were around them, circling them. The Archangel was standing in his exact place as before, only his hand turned at the place where the two timelords stood. Gendry figured that the archangel saw them first, and commanded the angels to circle on them. Why they weren't dead, or sent through time, Gendry couldn't comprehend, yet it seemed like the angels were delibaretly letting them live.

Zeus smiled arrogantly as he got down from his throne, his lighting bolt blazing in his hand. He stepped between the angels and walked until he reached the Timelords, yet the angels didn't even seem to notice him.

''How are you doing that?'' the Leader asked in confusion. ''How do they not see you? Why didn't they sent you in time already?''

''My sweet little Gallifreyan'' Zeus chuckled with arrogance. ''I tought you timelords were more clever than this. I'm an Olympian. I don't age, I don't die from the passing of years, and there are few things that can actually kill an Olympian. The angels simply aren't interested in zapping us, because...well, because they know that if they send us back, everything would be the same. We would live again until we reached this timeline again, and their effort would be fruitless. You on the otherhand. That's a different story'' Zeus said as he raised his bolt. ''I'm still curious whether to kill you and kill you again everytime you regenerate, or just destroy your Tardis, and let the angels feast on you'' he said with anger in his voice.

As Travinian was working on his his TARDIS to get the chameleon circuit up and running he had realized that he had already missed the start of the TARDIS race.

He rushed quickly rushed over to the console and tried to find where the first destination was, he set the coordinates for Olympus and and set the TARDIS to go at full speed through the vortex until he finally landed outside Zeus' throne room. As he The Wanderer sneaked into the room looking for anything to steal he noticed he fellow Time Lords surrounded by some of the most terrifying creatures in the universe, the weeping angels.

The Leader gulped as he saw the anger in Zeus's eyes. He wondered what to do. Should he materialize the Tardis to his exact location, denying the angels? Could work, but it was very risky. Wait for help? Other timelords would probably stumble into the trap aswell, and it wouldn't be good to give these monsters a feast. Instead he decided to bargain for his life, using his Gallyfreian golden tongue that has gotten him out of so many tough situations.

''Lord Zeus'' he started, honeying his words. ''Your excelency. Perhaps I could interest you in some Time Lord trinkets? Maybe a time machine, in bargain for my life?''

''What are you doing? We're gonig to get stuck here'' Arinda whispered while keeping an eye out on the angels and the archangel.

Zeus seemed intrigued....

(So @Spinoceratopsrex @marorda @drummerboi @Cronix would you be interested in continuing this?)
