Congratulations. You have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for the upcoming 2017/2018 school year! For those who are coming for the first time, the Staff at Hogwarts welcomes you to our glorious school of magic. For those who are returning to Hogwarts, welcome back to these hallow and sacred halls. We have a new feature this year at Hogwarts. Due to the fact that many former students wished to turn over the Savior, Harry James Potter to the Dark Lord, we have created an inter-house common room where all students and staff may come to relax and make new friends instead of just sticking with your own house. Be warned, that the doors and common room itself is warded to bar entrance to any student or staff member with thoughts of harm or evil thoughts or actions to prevent another tragedy like the last two wizarding wars against the Dark Lord Voldemort.
Upon arrival, students will either head up to the castle on carriages drawn by Thestrals for those who are second to seventh year students. First Year Students will be taken across the Black Lake to the school and be sorted into their respective house in front of the entire student body. Upon graduating, seventh year students will be taken back across the Black Lake to Hogsmeade Station where they will board the Hogwarts Express for the last time. Dare ye to step inside these noble halls and become the best witch or wizard ye can be?
