Realistic or Modern G O T H A M

Ra's heard a little interference producing weird sounds on his ear. He touched the little button on his small comunicator, starting to spin it to see if he would get a better signal. In one of the frequencies he heard a voice from one of his protégés from the league of assassins. Ra's stopped moving the button. "BigFox to MasterHound, copy?". There was a moment of silence on the other side. "MasterHound here, copy that". Alone in his cell, Ra's Al Ghul smiled. "BigFox to MasterHound, how's the plan coming up?". He heard a laugh from the other side. "Way faster than we thought it would go. The serum is coming up real nice. The machine you made is working good too". Ra's touched his ear communicator again, this time touching a smaller button next to the other one, to raise the volume. "How many do we have already?". The protégé answered, proud of his work: "79 blockbusters and counting up". A large grin shaped itself on the face of Ra's. "I think we should already start the invasion". The assassin at the other side of the line. "It would be a pleasure, Mr. Ra's. Where are we starting?". Ra's started to remember the full map of Gotham, stored in his mind. "Send five to the light and power plant. After they have finished breaking through the place, send another five to join them and towards the New Trigate Bridge. And then, send them towards Arkham, make them break the walls. After that, just let them perish in the hands of Batman or whoever comes around. We're just testing their damage. Send each one dressed different, with something like 'league of ten', something of 'ten'. We want people to think they're an independent group. But remember, don't stop the production". The protégé nodded and then remembered that Ra's couldn't see him. "Will be done. Roger and out".

The men transformed by the blockbusters serum weren't men anymore. They were monsters, piles of solid muscles, dominated by the serum influence over their nervous system. The ten that were sent by the men of the league of assassins were destroying and crushing the trees on their way. They broke down the walls of the power plant and started to crush everything inside it, killing the workers and taking out the power on Gotham City. After that, they looked towards the bridge.

"THIS IS GONNA BE SOOOO GOOD!", one of them said, with a grin.

Mr Freeze was attacking everything he saw with his freeze gun, when he heard a loud BOOM. He lifted his head up, and turned in the direction of the noise. Another loud sound. "What is happening?" He asked himself out loud, not caring in someone thought him crazy, because in some way, he was. He began to stomp towards the sound in his loud and massive suit. Then he saw trees falling and wall crumbling, with dust surrounding it. Victor was curious. Who was doing this? Penguin, Two Face, Joker, Catwoman? He wasn't sure. Victor walked closer, when giant creatures where breaking everything in site, along with what seemed to be... assassins. Victor scanned them with his gear, which labeled them as part of the League of Assassins. "Ra's?" He whispered, stopping in his tracks. What would he do? Help or fight? What would get Batman's attention faster?

((Also you guys, I might not be online all the time the next two weeks, because I'm getting a foreign exchange student and I don't want to ignore them. So just try you're best without me. No... being bad. I will be on, just not as much.
:P And it's only for two weeks starting today.))

"Nigma, I will find you. I don't care what traps you lay out, or what you try to do, I will find you, and I WILL stop you." Batman said making it perfectly clear what he intended to do.

"Not unless I get to him first." Red Hood said from behind him. He smirked under his mask. "I hope you're ready Batman, there's gonna be a reckoning. I'm going to end all of the villains who aren't afraid, starting with Nigma." Hood said. "Joker can wait till later." He finished, and ran off into the night.

"Dammit." Batman said. He grappled up to a rooftop, and much to his displeasure, saw Catwoman in the distance, in a museum. Great. Good thing Nightwing was there. Batman hurried over there after leaving an anonymous tip to the Joker's location. He entered the Museum.

Robin rolled his eyes under his mask when Batman didn't respond to his call over there communicator. "Typical," Robin thought and then he heard the Riddler's voice over there secured line. Robin stayed silent and listened to everything he said. Tim was still determined to find and catch up with Bruce. He continued running and he turned a quick corner and found joker tied upside down with a note pinned to the lapel on his purple suit. Robin didn't even bother reading it. He looked up and saw batman as he was running onto the roof. Robin pulled his grappling gun from his belt and fired it. It carried him to the top of the roof just in time to see Batman enter the museum. Robin ran after him. "Batman stop!"

Catwoman dodged Nightwing's wing dings before Gotham's power went out. Her goggles quickly adjusted to night vision. She jumped on top of the displays and onto a dinosaur skeleton. Catwoman froze when she heard the destruction going on outside. What's going on out there? she asked herself. Realizing Nightwing wasn't too far behind her, she scampered to the 2nd level of the museum and exited to the roof. She ran toward another rooftop, but stopped at the ledge. Now she could see what was going on; now Catwoman could see all the fallen trees and the damaged buildings. Who could have done this? she thought with a scowl.

Riddler wasn't affected by the power outage whatsoever. "It's a shame, Batman," he said as he leaned forward. "You could have saved so many people." He pressed the "Enter" button on his keyboard. "And now, we watch as mayhem ensues..."

Alarms started going off everywhere in Arkham. The cells had all opened due to a remote activation of the emergency cell lock system. Everyone who wasn't restrained ran out of their cells into relative freedom, and the restrained ones soon joined them. Unable to put down an escape on this scale, the security force fought until each of their individual lives were lost, all except for a few who turned tail and fled. Armed with as little as glass shards from broken windows, and as much as weapons from the armory, the prisoners had taken Arkham. They rejoiced in their victory, burning and impaling the bodies of the former staff to their twisted minds' extent.

Joker watched as everyone left, leaving him alone. He sighed. "Fun's over." He said, wiggling himself out of the rope. He couldn't cut it since it was unbreakable, but Joker was tall and thin, being 6'0'' and around 160lbs. So he was thinner than most other villains. But most other villains had more muscle than Joker. He crackled his knuckles, and his back. He was getting older every minute, he wasn't 20 anymore. He scratched his head. How old am I? He asked himself, having forgotten his birthday years ago. But then again, he'd forgotten most things about himself. Joker walked away, leaving the rope laying on the floor by the pole. "Let's start from scratch." He mumbled, walking back to him lair.

(Sorry it took so long guys...I've been busy.)

The master soldier, assassin, or whatever anyone else deemed to name him, was at this very moment in Gotham city. One name that had stayed the same was, Deathstroke. He had been watching the scene in the bank unfold. Watching the Joker getting what he deserved until this "Red Hood" character was stopped by Batman. 'Of course. Stop the bad guys from the death they deserved so much.' Even though he was a villain himself he wasn't as deranged as many of the other criminals that infested Gotham city. The Joker was the worst of them though. Of all the villains in Gotham, he deserved death the most. Deathstroke watched as Red Hood left the Batman's side. Deathstroke fallowed closely from the building tops. He had waited until the younger man was alone. Deathstroke dropped down behind the young man. He stayed in the shadows. "I can help you."
