hey all!
i'm Bug, a 27 y/o with she/her pronouns. i promise in actual writing i use proper capitalization, punctuation, spelling, etc., i'm just lazy when typing OOC.
anywho! here's the nitty gritty things about me you should know off the bat:
i only have a handful of pairings (*will indicate my preferred role), BUT i'm also going to throw a word bank on the bottom of this post. these pairings are going to be literally what i come up with right now, so don't feel bound by them. if you have any horror or fantasy plots you want to throw at me, i'd love to hear them!
i'm mostly craving modern settings right now. so, here's what i got:
ghosts/demons/hiding from society/hate to love/vampires/werewolves/two against the world/comfort/sunshine & thunderstorm personalities/moral grayness/conflict/drama/exploration/character development/adding whiskey to coffee/fight for us, the future, the world/unlikely matches/fairies/prophecies/i hate that i love you/we protect each other

- like i said, i'm 27, so i'm only comfortable writing with partners that are 21+. no hate to the younger writers out there, i'm sure you're amazing! i'm just getting too old to not feel creepy with anyone under 21 lmfaoooo
- i have a strong preference to write a female main but i am open to write against any gender. i will play a male main in a mxm pairing, but i've spent too long playing men against other people's women. almost all of my female OCs are some type of queer, though, so bring me your guys, gals, and non-binary pals!
- pls don't hate me, but i'm not a huge fan of doubling. i love having a cast of NPCs and side characters, but running multiple mains feels... clunky to me
- i'm between lazy lit and advanced lit when it comes to posting. there are times i can write 3 pages straight in a gdoc, there's other times my posts are 2 paragraphs. it all depends on what's happening, and i'm definitely looking for someone that challenges me as a writer!

i'm mostly craving modern settings right now. so, here's what i got:
- two supernatural bounty hunters are forced to pair up and go on jobs together ("monster of the week" vibes. one hunt could be a wendigo, the next could be a demon. would love to have an underlying plot driving them along but my brain hasn't gotten that far)
- a psychic medium* and another ghost hunter make it their mission to help families being haunted. (Ed & Lorraine Warren inspired, maybe??)
- a human* is the reincarnated soulmate of a powerful, ancient being (vampire, demon, anything that can live millennia). after they meet (again), memories of their past life surface, and they vow to get revenge by killing the enemy that split them apart centuries ago
- a newly turned vampire* is dropped at the doorstep of a different coven with a note to their leader attached: Consider this your warning - we are at war.
- two people are hired to tend to a large manor in the country from the fall time until the end of spring, when the affluent owners will return to spend the summer there. the only problem with the amazing living arrangements? within the first few weeks, they're pretty positive it's haunted
- a soldier and their elite team is tasked to detain and escort a civilian* to a bunker on an island, where a handful of other civilians are being held. the soldiers are given almost no information, and they start to wonder who the hell they have in their charge when their prisoner starts talking about having visions of the future.
