Amalia saw that another girl had sat next to her. She turned to look and her and smiled, saying brightly, "Hi! I'm Amalia. What's your name??" She then heard something that sounded like glass breaking, and turned to see something that shocked her. Ju had heard the commotion, too, and he came out of her bag to check it out. "Oh, good. You're talking to other students," Ju said. Amalia glared at him. I told him to stay out of sight! she thought in irritation.
