They came on a giant chessboard. Earl looked unhappy. "Ugh... Thinking."

"Oh wow....this is a huge chess set..." Emily said amazed walking over to the edge of the chessboard. She could not help but giggle at Earl's comment. "Earl...its not that bad...you think we actually have to play the game?" She asked.

"well then...it looks like we will be playing chess then," Emily said looking at the board.

"Well nothing really seems to be" Emily agreed as she walked over to take an empty spot for herself. She had a bad feeling as she stepped on to the chessboard seeing all the rubble around them.

"Alright..." Emily said taking in a deep breath before letting it out. "E4" Emily calls out the first move. A pawn in front of them slides forward to its new spot on the board.

A white piece had moved first. The black pawn on their side to move up to the white. The white pawn destroyed the black.

Emily watched the chess pieces move, watching their first chess piece get destroyed by a white pawn. She hesitated before calling out the next move.

Emily called out a few more moves as the game continued. She watched the board with complete focus managing to take some of the opponents pieces.

The game continued until she hit a snag. She stood there looking out at the chessboard. Looking out at the possibilities, but all she could see would had them loosing.

He looked at her. "Just forfeit." He saod. "Its not worth one of us getting smacked by a gisnt statue."
