Excellent question! Maybe one of them finds the book backstage, or they go to the school's bookstore or library? I think the second options sounds more plausible, though the first would be a surprise and before they get on with the dress rehearsal they go into the book. What do you think?

Yeah that's what I did, but I don't think names matter too much since this is pretty much fantasy...even if it's historical. As long as no one calls their character Bob =P
