Sebastian followed her but not before jotting down a quick note on a post it. He walked around with stacks of it all the time. Sebastian stuck the note to his arm to make sure Nathan would see it if they switched. Then he pulled Miri along with him after Lucy.





"Don't doubt yourself, dear brother. I'm not the one who runs every morning. I'd say you have a better chance of winning." Lucas was being honest. Xobic was quite fast for his size and his stamina was nothing to laugh at.

Mem's face flushed slightly at being called dad, it made him feel kind of old, but it was nice. He'd always wanted a kid, even if the circumstances were more than a bit unfortunate, he had a feeling it would work out quite nicely.


He looked up at Toby and smiled. "I know I do. We all have our roles to play in each of our stories in our lives."


He stood up and helped Len up, hugging him gently as he replied to him, "Love you too, butternut."

Sebastian looked around, bewildered. "Wow, nice kid." Seb was actually impressed. "Maybe you're not all bad." He said

"So, what exactly is it that you do down here all day?" He asked, plopping down on a seat besides her

Len was happy to have someone there for him after the loss of Rin. He walked out into the dining room to see the food already finished. He took his seat and waited for Mem and Toby to join him.


Toby looked at Mem. "I'm a killer you're a werewolf were gay you're a cross dresser were not even married and now we have a kid on are hands. This was not what I expected to be doing with my life. But at least we get to live here now and we have a trip to Japan tommorow it could be way worse." Toby smiled then walked out to the dining room.


Chester rode upon Xobics back. "Wow you're fast man." Chester smiled and kissed Xobic as he ran. "You can do it buddy."


Yuki layed in Lucas's arms as he ran. They were a little bit behind but not much. "You can do it Lucas." She said with a smile and a competitive wave of her hand.


Miri looked around the hideout/secret base silently taking it all in. "The place is uhh really cool Lucy." She said as she sat on Seb's lap. She felt safe around this man now.

Lucas grinned. He was biding his time and saving his strength for the sprint to the 'finish line'.


Sebastian was pleasantly surprised when Miri sat on his lap. He knew she was a shy girl but it pleased him to see her so comfortable with him despite his...personality(ies)

Xobic Kapton going faster and faster not even breaking a sweat and he was way ahead of his brother

Miri sat there silently then something rare happened her tail flicked without her telling it to. This was downright embarrassing for nekos. She looked at the ground almost tearing up.


Chester and Yuki continued to ride there boyfriends.

Lucy saw Miri and she swished her tail to touch hers and she smiled

Lucas didn't actually care much if he won or not but when they were nearing the last few laps, he finally sped up and caught up with Xobic, no longer taking his time. "Hey, Xo." He called out when he neared his brother.


Sebastian was confused. "Hey, what's wrong?" He asked her. He didn't know why she was tearing up

Miri stopped crying when Lucy flicked hers to. (Miri remember you are with friends you can trust.) She sat silently a light smile on her face.


"You can do it Lucas." Yuki shouted as they nered the finish line.

Lucas ran as fast as he could but it seemed he was just a little too shy of the finish line. Xobic and Chester won by only two inches.


The change occurred. "Yay! You're not crying anymore!" Nathan shouted happily. He hugged Miri to his chest, the fact that she was sitting on top of him making it easier.

Chester was happy they had one. He saw that Lucas and Xobic were a little tired though. "You OK guys."


Yuki hugged Lucas. "You did great buddy mabey another day." She stood there smiling.


Miri held his arms around her. She licked him hugging her. "Uhh...hi Nathan...you're back." She slightly smiled.

"good job bro and yes I am fine"Xobic said as he gone to a water fountain and started to drink

"Uh huh." Nathan said. He noticed the note stuck to his arm and read it out loud. "Behave. Don't mess up Lucy's secret base. Love you, Seb." It said. Nathan's eyes lit up as if he'd received the greatest gift ever. He was just simply happy to communicate with Sebastian. He shows the note to Miri. "Look, look. He said 'love'. Of course I love him. Isn't that a silly thing to write?" He asked with a innocent smile.





"You too. And yep, all good." Lucas said but he was a bit out of breath. "Next time, I'll win. God, maybe I should start running with you in the morning." He said half to himself and half to Xobic before giving Yuki a soft kiss

Mem merely chuckled and agreed, his tail swaying behind him as he walked into the dining room and sat where he had the last time he'd been in this room. He was just glad he'd decided to wear jeans for once, though the turtleneck was a bad idea to wear. Oh well. He just decided to roll up his sleeves. He eyed the food that had been set out and smiled, folding his hands in the way he'd done before his mirror ritual the other day and sent his affections to Rin, where ever she may be, wishing her well on her journey.


He looked to the others to see if they were eating before he himself started, rather enjoying the meal. It'd been a while since he'd had fruit, he'd forgotten how much it tasted like candy, and that alone made him simply ecstatic.

Len ate silently still taking in the moment. (Wow now I have a werewolf for a dad. Never expected to be here in my life. But I guess its good better then nothing, and Mem is nice) He smiled well eating and thinking. This was his first smile since run had died.


Toby sat next to Mem slowly eating he enjoyed the meal, and even more the company. He would look up at Mem and smile from time to time. Doing his best to convince himself every thing would be all right. ( @Memios Bonavich )
