Running, that's all she could as her small bare feet covered more ground. The heavy footsteps of the men who had taken her small eleven village captive had noticed her escape and were close on her heels. "I can't stop!" She urged her tired body forward, pushing her long slender legs to go faster. The men were beginning to close the distance between them. She ran on, looking back behind her to see if she could see anything. Right as she began to return her sight to the trail before her get foot slipped. Unfortunately, it wasn't just any slip, her foot had landed in mud by the edge of the cliff, and the next thing she knew she was falling down its steep side. As she slid down, a jagged rock sticking from the earth ran down her side, tearing the flesh and leaving a bloody gash. She gasped in pain as she continued down, trying to avoid anything el se that could cause her harm. When she finally reached the bottom, her body had been covered both mud and the blood from her side. Weakly, she tried to get up, only to have her arms give out on her and her chest fall back into the dirt. Her vision was beginning to go dark due to blood loss and she was beginning to lose conscious. "Please...... I can't die here." She said in prayer before everything went black
